Nice demo. Great playing & a great selection of tones, Damon, thanks. You didn't mention, though, that the '51 has a push/pull coil split on the volume adding yet more tones. At around £600, including 20% uk vat, these are priced about right. Remember these are Japanese made limited editions so i'm pretty sure they will be future collectables. Not sure the Fender marketing guys got the name right though - the Fender Workshop range would've been better than Pawn Shop, imo.
Is it just me or Fender "forgetting" to tell everyone that the '51 was originally a Squier exclusive model, that was selling for just $70USD at one stage. Then it got popular, and suddenly it's got Fender on the headstock and costs over $1000USD. What happened to the coil tapping on the humbucker as well?
god if the pawnshop 72 had a single coil in the neck i'd be in love... idk what to get i like the pickup configuration HS on the 51 but i love the look of the 72 and the hollow body... do they make the 72 with a single in the neck?
@johnnyluvstacos Nevada is a spanish word originally so i guess we thought it was an awesome state name and they thought it was an awesome music store name
Bro.. I like the 72', But did I hear a tone change without you adjusting the blender knob? If that thing had a selector switch I would get one Tomorrow!
So there we have it! Damon from Fender Guitars brought to us courtesy of Nevada Music thinks that these are all excellent guitars and that we should buy one from Nevada Music. What a turnup -I thought he was going to dismiss them as a load of junk and urge us to buy a Gibson. Perhaps he does that in his next review?
they are as you say a 'little bit different' i don't want to pay nearly £700 for a 'little bit different' I want revolutionary new amazing guitars why do most companies just churn out slight variations on the same models... yes they make money, but what about us guitarists who like variation?
Excellent, comprehensive demo. Very helpful. Thanks very much!
i love guitars so awesome to play

@markjohnstone66 The 51 retails for $799.
I thought all of those "full range" pickups were specially covered enforcers?
Why is it called Nevada Music if it's in the UK? I never understood that.
I knew it was whole tone! music theory ftw!!!!
It's called Nevada music because the guy is always sweating like he's in the desert...
i love my mustang special:D!
Can this guitar do songs like Judas Priest Electric eye?
I bought one and I'm having a single coil put into the neck. It should be cool
Why don't they just say the 71 and 51 are higher end versions of the squier 51?
are there leftys of these??
nice
it's like the studio is very hot!
Is Damon related to Ronnie Lane at all?
I want every freaking one
What pedals are in use in this video?

Wouldn't call a texas special "traditional" lol
Same reason america have the same names of places we have here.
I think we've a Zeppelin fan ^^
That's a question that should be directed to the player, not the guitar.
FFS, they're called Fender "Wide Range" Humbuckers, not "Full Range."
he looks like the older version of paul from guitar world
yeah, in 1951 all the shredders had humbuckers!
I hate when they say "guitars that could have been but never were" I have a squier 51' that will prove you wrong lol.
Ha ha ha ! ...humm something like having sex in a Mustang!!!!
Get an air conditioner in there for the poor guy, geez
this guitar is ugly.. sounds good though
