This video has many excellent tips for working a rope!!!!! I had to learn the hard way to keep coils with me. Luke has a great temperament and seems to be very patient. Good job and great video.
@@Gregorybridgewater thank you! Like I mentioned in the video, when you are getting short to tie off, make sure she doesn't feel any slack in that rope, as she will take full advantage of it.
Horse worth a million dollars and awesome commentary/footage of the handwork. Great video. Like to hear how other guys are treating and what they’re using, and try some of those new things on the feedlot.
I really enjoy your content. I like how you explain everything especially to people that arent in the horse world, or cowboy. Cause there are some that would think your being cruel to them for roping them like that. So less stressful then trying to get them up into a chute. You ride in some pretty country. Would love to be out there riding. Where are you at?
Smooth work, but that calf had a lot of opportunities to leave. I always keep 3 tie ropes in case I lose 1 and as soon as I step off for the fronts together and the hinds together for security.
You might try felappease on newly weaned calves. Works really well. It mimics i believe being with momma. Might add its fairly cheap@roobucknevada4749

I'll take Luke over two extra cowboys. He's worth his weight in gold. Two extra hands couldn't do it as easily as Luke.
