I was disappointed coming from the battlecross x10 to the mx12 so I’m excited to a try the new model! The battlecross is hard to beat works about everywhere here in Michigan.
Absolutely love the michelin soft on front for sand but haven't been too impressed with the sand tyre from them. The soft rear works pretty well but the pirelli scoop rear works best, too bad the pirelli front sucks haha. Have to try that M5B though never heard of it!!!
Would love to see you guys do a test of all the scoops amd respective fronts in real deep sand (but not Cahuilla that's a pretend sand track) as their isn't any tests out there. Keefer did a test of the scoops a couple of years back but in typical Socal style tested them on the wrong type of tracks haha
It needs a Deep sand test or full on dunes. I used my mx12 for those and it was fantastic. As a alternative to a full paddle for trails that are mixed. Because we all know full paddle get torn up easy when not in dunes
The whole point of redesigning this tire was to improve it OUTSIDE of deep/loamy terrain, we all know that a paddle orientated knobbie will handle better in the sand, it’s how well they operate outside of those conditions that people are looking for these days, if your in full on dunes just run a full paddle man your bike and you will thank me lol
@Ryan k *for trails that are mixed* only one place in the whole state is full dunes (yes thats full paddle) but the rest is mixed river deep sand & rock riding. Paddle on the rocks sometime for me just for giggles
@@Corteum what is your point? They are a megacorp with every type of testing you can think of at their disposal. Of course they’re going to use sophisticated software LOL
@@kyerindague7758 youre correct, but glen helen has everything from deep sand to blue groove, so my question stands. With both choices, you sacrifice something.
It would be nice if you guys put as much effort into advertising and sucking up to other Tire manufacturers. Why don't you test the Dumblops to other Brands back to back. There are many to choose from. MAXXIS, Tusk. Pirrelli and who can forget the one manufacturer that actually sells race Compounds to amatuers HOOSIE....
Am i the only one who believes that USA Desnation race team lost is because of the tire choice. DUMBLOP. Has and other tire manufacturer had to cut thier factory race tires to improve the traction? We all know and seen the factory race teams cut thier Race Compounds tires. During the outdoor nationals..

To this day an IRC M5B is at the top as a sand, soft tire. That was true 30+yrs ago!. Michelin has a good soft terrain tire too

They must test these tires at Lommel ore Oss belgium en Netherlands that are deep sand tracks im now it 😃
Cairoli sure likes them!
Cairoli is on Pirellis. 😉
@@lampenracer yeah but he likes a scoop tire. That's all I'm saying

@@UltraSS-nj8kd what are you trying to say here
Whats better for the soft sand tracks, the mx12 or mx14?
Nice review! Any idea when they’ll be out to the public?
Bro, you have been on point for videos!!!
Very nice tire.
Will they keep making the 33 and the 12 ?
Yes on 33 and no on 12 rear
@@vitalmx Thanks for replying, hopefully the 12s will be on sale ? Still a great tire for Florida sand.
What size of rear tire is better for KTM SX-F 250 2022...110/90-19 or 100/90-19? Thank you
110
What’s a good tire to pair with this on the front for more sandy conditions

Is it good to use mx14 on medium soil to hard pack? Thanks
No, that would be best for the MX33
How did they come up with the new design for this tire? Do they use sophisticated software and bike telemetry?
No, they are totally not one of the biggest tire companies on the planet with billions of dollars at there disposal
@@Yz4Life Telemetry is actually pretty affordable these days.

@@Yz4Life That's what i mean. They probably used telemetry to come up with this tire.
Bottom line, are you taking this or an MX33 at glen helen?
Tires are meant for two totally different things

Where to buy it, I'm from Indonesia 🙏
Which front tire did you used?
MX33
@@vitalmx does that set work well in water&mud mixed track?
@@ashu9330 We preferred the MX33 front over the MX12 front for any situation that wasn't just straight sand.
@@vitalmx how did it worked? Was the performance good enough?
Let's go hillclimb!
Why wouldn't you test a sand tire on sand???
Do you get invited back if you give a negative review? Asking for a friend.
Yeah, we’ve had some bike intros where we weren’t very positive and still got invited next year for.
