I love this vid. Shows how some things can be more valuable to some than others. I have some items I will buy again that others wouldn’t even be interested in buying once.
I like the snap off shower curtain layer for easier washing and replacing. As for electric toothbrushes, Oral B and Sonicare are supposed to be pretty close. Meat slicer: seems cool but then washing thoroughly seems like it would be a pain.
thanks for the video, its super helpful the problem with me when it comes to my teeth is that even though I floss once a day and brush twice a day, there's always a buildup of plaque (the hard kind) that is hard to get with my toothbrush and then eventually will mess up my teeth in the future (like gum disease or gingivitis)
Thank you for the video. I'm going to get that Jar Opener I don't know if it's because I'm getting older but I have been having an awful time opening some of these jars and I looked it up through your link and it's reasonably price so I ordered it.
Some other jar opener product designs also offer a stronger active lever and don’t require to apply rotation, they have a grip for the jar and one for the lid and allow to pop it open even more easily. If one struggles even more or can’t open them there are battery operated ones that will operate on their own but sometimes they fail and may require holding them while they operate
Those are some really cool products-- I have to have that stapleless stapler to start with and that fidgit toy--yes it would be like clicking out a great outline of the subject of your thoughts, not to mention how wonderful the verdical mouse and the jar opener and the egg cooker would be! Let me see what I have in the bank for money! Great, great video, Bush!
@@BeatTheBush Actually I check out all of the reviews on any item before buying and I checked these items out to see what people were saying about them and some I decided maybe not and others like the stapleless stapler I do like and still want to buy it. So I try to buy using common sense and decide on items will be the most beneficial for me.
Yes!!!! Electric toothbrushes have come a long way from when they were initially introduced!!!! They are Superior to manual brushing. I suggest the Costco Phillips brand one. I wish they had the old brush head design though
heh i keep rubber bands in the kitchen and thats my tight jar opener but not as good as urs. for some reason my favorite fidget devices are automatic cheap OTF/gravity knifes from aliexpress. also those blinds are legit.... thx for uploading. more people need to find ur diy channel

@@BeatTheBush Awesome! P.S. Didn’t expect you would reply me, but since you did I will use my chance to tell you that I really enjoy your videos and have been a fan since 2018!
That blinds open/close thingamajig is really good idea. But at $70+tax come out to be $76. I was thinking about getting two of those, but $150 for 2 is just too much. I'll probably bite if half that price.
@@tilasole3252 that egg cooker for one. I like medium boiled eggs and a full cooking apparatus is too much to keep on the mind at work. Boiled eggs are a great mid day snack that doesn't put me to sleep with super high quality protein. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it!
I'd rather save the money and boil eggs as we have for centuries. It's not odd for some people to want to try the newest gadgets. Just odd it would be something so simple as an egg cooker that would do it for a frugal person. But to each their own.
Right now it costs about $16 for the egg cooker. I typically spend 5 minutes extra watching the egg reach the perfect doneness. Using it just 12 times saves you 1 hour of waiting. Try it, it's COMPLETELY worth it.
so you worry about wasting like 3 seconds of electricity while going through the lamp modes, but then you go ahead and buy an electric blind tilting device just so you don't manually do it (which takes to no money) ... wtf?
If you are eating a whole foods diet, which you are for the most part, you really should not be getting cavities. You are not eating processed sugars. You eat a piece of candy a day or a week. A normal tooth brush would suffice. A lot of these other things just seem like quirks. The opposite of being frugal. But we all have our vices. =P
I use the same slicer for 15 years now, recommended.

Yup
Very useful. Thank you.

Nice to see you put those things to use. Should definetly look for some remote light switches myself.

I got one without the rubber grips and tried another one that didn't work too well. Settled on the one I showed.
Very cool, I’ll take a look at some of them

Omg. Hope I'm not making people spend too much. At least most the items are fairly low priced. =D

I particularly liked the blind opening and closing device. I'll check to see if they sell them in the UK.
What happens if you are getting saucy with the Mrs and then forget the blinds are on automatic?
Hmmm, they're USB powered so it should work in the UK too. And if it opens up on you? You'll have to disable the auto function then.

I have that heated desk mat and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
Did you mention it? I got it because someone commented about it.
@@BeatTheBush I did not. My husband gave it to me for Christmas. I am ALWAYS cold.
It's great! I really like mine, used to have battery powered hand warmers but recharging them everyday became a pain.
I hope you will do 1$ meal recipes again 👍

You could just turn the blinds open manually...

Very nice.
Bake your own bread an cut it on the “meat” slicer in nice pieces of bread.

What actually sounded useful to the frugal mind?
If a frugal person buys it, it must be pretty worth it!

Both the lamp mode product AND the blind tilt thing are both about saving time, not electricity.
