Tayler Blanchard Aaron wouldn't do that. He really takes pride in making music he likes. Unless his tastes change, we will keep getting the good stuff!
He said that "I think people are getting really burnt out on hearing robotic instrumentation.." and that more guitar orientated songs were planned for the future, which by this album, certainly seems like the case. Still haven't lost their sound though, but definitely less "robotic", lol.

Reminds me of when Dire Straits went AWOL (har har) in England after being successful... They hid (not for long) in london pubs as a band called The Nottingham Hillbillies... released a studio album then came back again as Dire Straits... Was an epic album completely different from what they were known for.. what game them away was Mark Kopfler's epic guitar riffs.

Aaron Bruno fronts the band and writes the songs himself and apparently records most if not all of the tracks for the songs himself. He is AWOLNATION, but is backed by the three others who are also AWOLNATION. Also, we are all AWOLNATION.

Ive listened to this song so many times since the album released, and it just now clicked. This song in an of its self is like a stick of dynamite. Its a slow burn for most of the song till it explodes at the end. Aaron Bruno you are a genius.
The only crime with this video is that it has less than a million view. It's a great song and deserves better.

This video reminds me of a point in time from my life when I was young.Was in a Bar on a military base where bartender was male polishing a shot glass . There were Marines , Squids , Air Force Personell , Army Personell, and Civilian Types all gathered in that bar . Was a constant hum of conservation for quite a long time. When as sometimes happens in cafeterias and bars everything suddenly was silent , you could have heard a pin drop. This silence stretched on quite a bit. Suddenly one voice broke the silence , ": Isn't this the point in the movies when the big bar fight breaks out ?" You should seen that bartender he suddenly stopped polishing that shit glass with that look , "Here we go again ." The silence had returned everyone looking around , " Well are we type of look ." Finally after a bit everyone wondering is this that time ?" The silence ended and everyone went back to drinking and talking .The bartender relaxed and went back to polishing the shot glass . Nothing happened that was it . I always get a kick out of that memory and laugh several times as I think about that day . It is a good memory and it was a good day that day back then.
