This is the song that made 6 year old me love final fantasy. Didn’t really know what I was playing or what the heck to do but man if I found a way to make this song play…
Just want to say how much I appreciate your work on this channel! It's always entertaining and enlightening to see how the different audio tracks play off each other.
Glad to see you're still doing deconstructions. I'd like to see the DKC3 songs deconstructed. Rockface Rumble is an interesting song that comes to mind.
I have no knowledge of how sound channels work in ps1 (if they even have any) but I have heard that it’s practically impossible because of how the music is made. They’re all practically on one channel making it impossible to separate them
One of the best Final Fantasy boss themes.
One of the best boss themes ever tbh
*THE BEST, on the best sound engine ever PEROID!!
And that's saying a lot.
THE best final fantasy boss theme
2:06 just really shows how much rock influence Uematsu had. Just a straight rock groove underneath the whole thing. I love all the influences.
To be fair, Uematsu LOVES his Prog rock. Much like how Hiroyuki Sawano loves his Prog metal.
Man, when you break it down like this and introduce the tracks one at a time you can just see how well composed it was.

Man, hearing the theme like this, and other songs here in general, make me love them even more!
This is the song that made 6 year old me love final fantasy. Didn’t really know what I was playing or what the heck to do but man if I found a way to make this song play…
Oh hell yes! Please more Final Fantasy Kaleidoscopes please!
Boy it ain’t no kaleidoscope 😐
I don't want to sound rude like the previous guy. It's called an oscilloscope
If you end up deconstructing dancing mad I will go crazy bro, it will be so legendary to finally hear each part of it
The whole thing is about 11 mins long!
@Yao Jie Wong What do you mean?
@Yao Jie Wong I've not deconstructed Dancing Mad yet (the idea of it scares me to be honest)! I have however, deconstructed The Decisive Battle!
This is my favorite FF tune of all. Very close to the top favorite SNES theme which is Simon's theme in SCV4
SNES SOUND ENGINE FTW!!!
LameStation lazily reads it of a CD, the SNES brute force reconstructs it.
YESSSS THANK YOUUUUU THIS IS THE BEST
Just want to say how much I appreciate your work on this channel!
It's always entertaining and enlightening to see how the different audio tracks play off each other.
ooh more final fantasy in the future please. epic ost
Would really love to see Comix Zone stage 1 theme deconstructed! Such a banger track.
Love the way you arranged this. Excellent!
Glad to see you're still doing deconstructions. I'd like to see the DKC3 songs deconstructed. Rockface Rumble is an interesting song that comes to mind.
02:05 - seems they intro-ing or something. I dunno but for me this the real theme begins
POG
Yoooo another SNES track!
Relevant again because of the 6.2 patch for Final Fantasy XIV!
Could you do within the giant?? Oh, and Hyper Hyper from Knuckles Chaotix is an excellent song, and I'd like to see a deconstruction of that.
The bass line showing who's the boss here
I am matter… I am antimatter… I can see your past… I can see your future… I consume time… And I will consume you!
Boss time. Better beat it.
5:09 EVERYBODY NOW
Please do FFVII Music Deconstruction of anything OST next.
Can you do red Wings next please?
2:06
Deconstruct FFVII's On Our Way next. I like this one
This reminds me of being in a castle
A boss fight in a castle
Just asking, is it possible to do ps1 era games such as final fantasy vii as I know they used the internal sound of the os1 and not redbook audio?
I have no knowledge of how sound channels work in ps1 (if they even have any) but I have heard that it’s practically impossible because of how the music is made. They’re all practically on one channel making it impossible to separate them
@@evainfrenchli thank you for the reply, understandable with that explanation.
It reminds me of a Super Mario RPG song
because the ff4 boss theme was also used in the secret boss fight of smrpg
And both composers were colleagues
Uuuuh, Snes sounds so ... boring. I prefer Genesis sounds in most games!
