DIY - How to make - Drum practice pad - level easy

How to make drum practice pad from waste?
It's not big deal.
This pad was made one Sunday afternoon from leftovers from my workshop.
It is made of spruce wood and waste rubber (3mm thick) from which I normally make seals. I used neoprene glue to glue the rubber to the wooden surface.
I use the power tools I have at my disposal, but the making is so simple that you can make it even if you have no tools at all.
