Timeline for Brioche Loaf
0:20 Melt unsalted butter
0:35 Mix dry ingredients
1:01 Mix wet ingredients
1:23 Mix the two
1:44 Fold the dough
2:31 Place the dough in the fridge to rest
2:42 Butter the loaf pans
2:53 Divide into smaller pieces
3:46 Let rise in loaf pans
4:00 Bake
4:41 Let cool, slice & enjoy
Ingredients for French Brioche
3 ¼ cups bread flour (17 ¾ oz)
2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast aka rapid rise yeast - (Two 1/4 oz. packets)
1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt * I used Diamond kosher salt
6 large eggs Plus one more egg to brush before baking
½ cup water room temperature
⅓ cup sugar (2 ⅓ oz.)
16 tablespoons unsalted butter (8 oz) melted and cooled - plus more to grease loaf pans
