It's so nice to see this as a full fledged game! Leenie Boog is my new favorite name for a monster, it's funny because I used to have a guinea pig I nicknamed Googaboog, or for short, the Boog, because she sometimes made her eyes go really wide, similar to Buggsy's from Bedtime Stories, so every time Mark shouted, "The Boog!" I kept picturing my buggy-eyed guinea pig coming through one of those windows!

Also, whith all the references to russian letters and words (like gorod) + the game being made by a slavic developer I assumed that it was a part of slavic folklore, but the fox in russian stories is always a smart and manipulative kind of predator. She would still eat the protag. , but would not actively chase him, instead trying to trick him into becoming an easy meal. So it doesn't really fit whith the gameplay.
Being scared is one thing, being scared AND confused is a whole other level of terrifying

the fact that this game is so classic feels so relaxing with no music and that old brown shade with a realistic jumpscare and a scare at the start of the game the game developers really knew how to make this unique.

Mr. Boog gently opens a window and politely waits for you to find him. Once you close the window he opened, he accepts defeat and walks to another one.
There's something about that tiny little 'erh' squeak that the windows make when the Boog opens them that makes me snicker every time.
