The car's Owner is Mark Spandikow. Mark’s had this car since 2018. He shares his Friend in the Auburn Club mentioned there has never been a Auburn “Woodie” Wagon. Mark had a 4 door and found the right Builder to build this 1 of 1 custom built car. This car look showroom new.

This car is beyond words! That has to be the most beautiful car I have seen in any of your videos. This 1936 Auburn woodie wagon has spectacular woodwork along with the leather interior. The instrument cluster is beyond beautiful! The engine sounds perfect, and I love how it sounds going through the gears. What a sweet ride Lou! ❤

The tires, its the tires for me. An era is asimulated by its tire, and honestly these just aren't right (now this fellas using a great tire, coker or one of those firestone rehashes, but it's all in the size and thickness of the tire that can fix it or ruin it).
When I think of the 1930s, and the Auburn sedan/station wagon, I think of those large tires holding up the vehicle, while being incredibly thin from the side view, a big white wall band, and an elegant inner hub. Just a beautiful stance that unfortunately is a little lost with this one. Now, this is to be expected as most just hot rod these types of vehicles, so to even see it stock is perfectly fine, but..when you thought you'd find variety in the old car community, anything that was more original and perfect, it makes you desperate for that right thing. That perfect thing.
And speaking of perfect, holy cow the color on the 1935 Auburn is spectacular. Just the tires, makes it look like a 1958-60 model on the chassis.

What a beautiful Auburn woodie.! The whine of that supercharger is amazing. ! The color of the woodgrain next to the blue is so outstanding. ! That is a one of a kind, for sure. Thanks Lou - this is one of the coolest cars you have featured on your show. The owner sure is lucky to have one of those. ! Beautiful interior too. !

This has to be one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. I just wish he would have given a demonstration of the acceleration of it with it's supercharged straight 8 engine. For their time, the supercharged Auburns were no slouch.

This 1936 Auburn 852 Supercharged Woodie Wagon is simply a work of art on wheels! It is beautifully crafted, and the wood finishes and fittings are simply perfect. The blue color, along with the chrome ornaments, such as the winged lady on the hood, the large grille, the headlights or even the heart-shaped bumper, are a sight to behold. A fantastic interior, from the leather seats to the instruments, without forgetting that elegant wooden ceiling; giving us a feeling of being in a comfortable mackerel. Its engine sounded very good, and the smooth driving was noticeable on the spectacular final ride. In short, a piece of art that will not leave anyone indifferent! Best regards, Lou!

Closest color is going to be 1934 Auburn Royal blue. In 1936 Auburn had powder blue. Now this is not to say many shades existed per year, after all Buick had 48 shades in 1930! but, from the information handed, I can't say or deny that there is a similar color to this.

That is a beautiful interpretation of what an Auburn Estate Wagon would look like. Undoubtedly better constructed than the factory could do.

Thanks.well, maybe: fortunately we have incredibly impressive tools, vehicle fluids, *& some knowledge increases, however; some of original OEM (* esp DUESENBERG were made to Win at Indy, & no cost soared, etc)..Seems like some of ACD VEHICLES are Art Creations..

Foul play. what could the factory not do? To be moral enough to have a assembly line low paid workmanship that aren't artisans put this together for you, I would be congratulating their beauty, not bragging about how modern day could put it together better.., that being people in a workshop that are individually only putting yours together with a high price at the end.
In fact, most 1936 Auburn sedans (the few that were made) were put together beautifully out of factory, that isn't exactly a cheap sedan..and nor was any sedan at the time.
A work of art, that can also survive any condition for a paramount of years should immediately have your vote and consideration.

Normally, I am not in favor of modifying vintage cars. I don't like turning old rare cars into hot rods, using modern engines, and drive train parts. I think old rare cars should be restored to the way they were as they came off the production line. Having said that, this car is an exception to the rule. It is very well done, the woodwork is absolutely beautiful. I also am a fan of bridges, having worked a good share of my career in roar and bridge design. I liked the one lane bridge. There are less and less of those around I use to drive on one near Rochester, Indiana. It was a truss bridge over a river on old US 31.

It's the tires for me, it's like mixing a 1930 Spoke with a 1960 Tire set. All sorts of offputting. Everything else is very well done, although I'll mention that the wood working on the back would not sweep past the fender typically, they loved having the fenders flush with the back cradle of the automobile (only exception was those fun trunks in 1934-37).
