Hey Eve! I love this video idea! I definitely have a few notes that have been challenging for me over my collecting journey, and a few I've come to appreciate. Since falling hard for Si Intense (2021 version) I've grown to appreciate the more chocolatey presentation of patchouli, like in Let The Dance Begin by La Perla. On that note, I'm still beefing with dark chocolate, dry ouds, almonds, cypriol oil, and green figs. Bitter, dark chocolate just doesn't work on my skin. Tabac Rose is the only fragrance I own where the chocolate works on me. I had Double Attack by Mind Games and sold it bc it went sour on skin in the dry down. So sad bc I love it out the bottle. I love sweet ouds though. I agree with you on Golden Oud, it's incredible! You should try Oud Symphony by Precious Liquid. The passion fruit, cassis, and rum blend so well with the oud in that one! Also, for my issue with cypriol oil, I've come to realize that when the fragrance has saffron as another dominant note, like Blue Heart by Thameen, I don't mind it at all. So now I layer most of my scents that have a strong cypriol oil with Ambre Superfluide, which has a strong saffron note, to balance the cypriol.
Yessss I hate that I didn’t include Si Intense in the video but that’s a perfect example for patchouli! Most chocolates are a struggle for me but I’m still open and Double Attack was one that I really enjoyed! Overall, it sounds like you’ve figured out a formula on how to get an unfavorable note to mesh well for you! Thank you for sharing💕

Hi Eve! This is an interesting video. I’m good with leather, oud and patchouli. But palo santo, geranium, and peach notes are not my favorites. However, I do like white peach. I was nervous about Nishane Hundred Silent Ways because of the peach, but it’s a love. I like leather, but prefer suede notes. And YSL Caban is soooo beautiful, but on the light side. I really want to wear it on its own, but usually layer it with other fragrances. - Ms. Charlette
Patchouli was/is definitely mine. I'm trying to sniff more than I buy this year. I've found some good ones and for me sugared patchouli is definitely one of them. Great video!
Have you tried Symphony by Louis Vuitton? It's a very dominant grapefruit but done so delicate and feminine, to my nose. Easily my most "feminine feeling" fragrance in my collection!

Cinnamon is note I’m touch and go with myself. Everyone loves Angel Share and Side Effect but the cinnamon in them is too much for me. I can appreciate how great they are but they just dont work on me unfortunately HOWEVER Althair and Sugar Leather spoke to me a little nicer so we go together real bad😁
The only note that I can't seem to stand are those of a lipstick accord, I can tolerate everything else if done right. I love oud but oud ispahan is the most challenging oud I've ever got my nose on. That's the oud from the rough neiborhood who made it out and has a story to tell lol.

I am good with all notes as long as it is well blended. With that said, there are certain perfumes I am beefing with. 1. Amouage Guidance - good lord almighty! I can’t stand it (yes - I’m one of those) 2. I can’t do all the Kayali perfumes. I tried- I really truly tried. But after about 6-7 bottles of different perfumes, I have given up and don’t get the hype. 3. Angel’s Share - this is a love turned like turned meh perfume that is not going in the right direction. This list continues to grow 😢 But I feel relieved letting all of this beef out 😂

Oud Satin Mood EDP is better than the Extrait. The EDP is easier to wear. The Extrait smells the same as the EDP after 30 minutes but it’s just louder. The EDP is beast mode so why do I need something louder? 😂
I never blind buy leather forward fragrances but I’m typically all in on most suedes. I don’t hate patchouli but I don’t go out of my way to buy patchouli heavy scents. And I openly judge anyone that says they can’t do oud 😆 I won’t say I’m beefing with the marshmallow note but I’ve smelled too many fragrances with a marshmallow note that were childishly sweet like Kayali boujee marshmallow or PDM oriana 🤢
I had some Oud fragrances/Oils i need it to be refined i've had samples of Oud from the tree bark Girl it over took me i had to scrub it off and go lay down true story.
If there is one thing you're going to do is put a dent in your perfumes. And I appreciate you so much for it. Tells me that you're not talking up perfumes for the sake of content. And Sugar Leather is one I have to close my eyes and not look at. Otherwise, I will be picking her up and wearing her EVERYDAY.
I genuinely love the majority of my collection so it’s a matter of spreading the love across them all in wear (plus we don’t need to waste the coin spent😉) but yes Sugar Leather hates to see me coming🥴 secretly kicking myself for now getting the bigger bottle!
