Hi babe! The audio has always sounded great to me! But when you're holding the mic, I only hear it out of one speaker in my computer...not sure if it's just me. When you used the original mic, I could hear audio through both speakers on my computer but the lavalier had clearer audio. Overconsumption is def a thing with a lot of us, especially who watch YT and are on it sharing. The fragrance world can be hard to not get carried away. I know for me, fragrances are "cheaper" than most things I would typically collect, so it's easy to do so. I have started to place limits on myself because I have done TOO MUCH lolll. I never felt like y'all were wrongly influencing me. I knew what I was doing and I wanted to buy what I bought. Sometimes we have to realize that we, ourselves, lack self-control. We can't be so easily influenced by everything we watch...or you can, who am I to tell someone what to do LOL.

You look so pretty!!...with the mic situation, both are fine but if i had to choose it sounds better without the mic in hand and as for over consuming, we as adults have to take accountability for our own choices, we know what we can and can not afford the influencer does not ,so we have to make good choices for our adult selves...thank you!

I like mic in hand better but you may need to just hold it a little further away from your mouth. The mic in your camera sounds just fine too.

I’ve never noticed anything about your audio, but your content is so good I’ll watch anyway. I’m not an audio snob, so maybe I’m missing something, but I’ll always watch your new videos and appreciate your perspective. Also, I agree, we are adults and we choose how to spend our money and if we are irresponsible, that is on us and us alone. I take breaks from buying but still can enjoy watching the reviews and participating in my fb groups. 💓

I like the second mic and I just enjoy the fragrance influencers giving reviews because I’m not trying to buy every new thing that comes out but I like hearing how you all think it smells and everything else about it then I might try to go to Sephora or Ulta to get a sniff and I’m careful on how I spend my money Thanks Eve Great Video 👍🏾😊👏🏽

Hello Eve! With the first mic, it is fine, but it sounded more breathy. The second mic is fine as well, but you had an echo and sounded far away. I could hear you fine either way, just sounded different. Some people want to blame everyone else for what they choose to do. No one made us do anything. If you can’t control based on what you see, stop watching. The same happens in the beauty space as well.

I've never had an issue with the audio from you. What I do have an issue with is UA-cam constantly unsubscribing me from your channel lol 😂😂

Hello there I disagree with people saying that the influencers making them buying all this that’s a choice that we made ,honestly I feel a lot of people buying more dupes than anything which is cheaper then the original and it’s very easy to get caught up in I’m just saying, but thank for sharing and you sound just fine to me.

Both mics sound fine. I do agree we should not blame influencers. We should have control over our finances. We should have boundaries and also realize that we cannot what influencers do. I wish I could receive PR but I don’t so I need to make sure I’m financially responsible. The buck stops here with me. IJS ❤

Nobody can blame anyone for overconsumption but themselves. They made the choice to spend their money. Nobody had a gun to their head. So blaming influencers is crazy.

Chile ppl so petty, it’s so many ppl recording on old iPhones with no special equipment and nobody says anything. Just keep using the mic on your camera. It’s just fine. Holding the mic will get annoying. If they don’t like it they can go watch somebody else 🙄😂

What I see as inauthentic are those videos where I click on a review for Cartier jewelry or handbag unboxing, and the first 10 minutes is spent talking about their love of some gifted Idyl jewelry. I didn’t come here for that! I’d rather they create a short with those commission items and only discuss the titled item. As for excess consumption, I did the absolute fool last year, resulting from influence and my sheer love of shopping and luxury.

Ive never had an issue with your sound. Either mic honestly sounds good. But if I'm honest the clip mic is my favorite. As far as the topic of consumerism, I totally agree. Sidebar: the red Yankee hat, hoppe earrings and white tank gave me my NYC round the way fly girl life!!!!!

I never had issues hearing you. In regards to the “overconsumption” I honestly believe it’s up to the individual to have more mind control of their wallets and spending habits. As much as we watch videos on the trendy thing that doesn’t mean we have to buy it. I don’t blame the creator cause if I ain’t got it I ain’t got it and I’m got to buy now pay later to get it.

The onus is on the consumer & the reviewer. Media has always been used as a tool to influence & control the masses. It’s even more prevalent with social media addiction & you can’t really scroll without someone trying to sell you something. That’s going to rewire your brain & the baseline for what normal consumption looks like will & has changed. I think theres a way to influence responsibly but that would require influencers going back to work. People also need to spend WAY less time on socials.

Sis, use whatever microphone you have/afford 💘and i never spend money on too many things… only have 5-7 perfumes for everyday running errands to bed to special location to work (in health care i don’t wear a lot) to gym. One for every event why cluttering too many things 😤🤣🤍

That small mic is not good quality. It makes you louder but gives a strange double octave. Do you have tall ceilings? You may have to consider a bigger mic closer to you. Scale & size of room matters.

Great video! Both mics sound fine to me. Whichever one works best for you is fine with me. I have purchased a lot of fragrances this year but that was my choice. I don't blame reviewers for my purchases. I made a conscious decision to buy each fragrance. It was truly my decision. So unlike some others that I'm hearing are blaming reviewers for their purchases it is my choice to buy them and not anyone else.
