- In this video, Eddy Reynoso announced at the WBC Convention that Canelo Alvarez will move up to cruiserweight to fight Makabu in May, Eddy Reynoso is canelo's manager and trainer. Canelo is coming off a tremendous win over Caleb Plant to unify all the titles at Super Middleweight and making history being the first to do it.

Canelo tiene poder y mejor condición que muchos en el peso crucero y su experiencia será el mayor factor de crecimiento en la nueva división. Obvio, Canelo tendrá que usar la distancia y su defensa elite para cansar al oponente más grande y ya demostró que tiene la fortaleza para ganarle a boxeadores más grandes.

Subir a crucero o sea dos divisiones más, es llevarlo al matadero con tipos que le llevarían 15 kilos de ventaja y la altura ni se diga.
