I have a Fiesta ST and just now found out about this kit. I was considering the Godspeed MonoSS Coilovers, but the Racelands have a lifetime warranty and camber plates, will have to do some homework.
Games&Snakes these are my first ever coilovers so i have nothing to compare them to and its only been a week..that being said..little bumps are fine but i drove on a dirt gravel road and thought i was going to break something..i hit a rough patch of road going around 90km/h and it hit so hard i flew out of my seat. With passengers and shit in the trunk the back feels like its slamming into the ground when you hit bumps so far i would not recommend them but the car looks really stuipidly good
They’re supposed to be stiff. When you go lower they need to be stiffer which also increases performance of you aren’t too low. Mine haven’t been unbearable though. I think it makes it more fun to drive

No not that I could see. The classics have a lock ring but the ultimos don’t which I thought was weird. I put some thread locker on them and haven’t had any issues of them adjusting
TryppRL I called them and they said there’s no force that could adjust their height and they don’t offer locking collars so I’m going to adjust them back to how they were and see if it happens again.
nope not if you’re just going low. technically you would need adjustable endlinks to take the preload off of the sway bars but if your car isn’t a purpose built race car it won’t matter, coilovers are all you need. i autocrossed my car with just these coilovers and no other suspension mods
Right behind the bracket there is a spot that it fits in, I just had to spin and push the wrench until it slid in and I could hold. Maybe get a flashlight and look behind it, it’s a really thin piece kind of like a thin bolt, there’s only one spot it fits in, not multiple like a bolt. You can also use and Allen wrench in the center of the treads to hold it but I didn’t have the right socket to turn it while doing that
i just installed the fronts but my passenger side end link rubber tore off because it was too long whenever i lowered the coil off of the jack i don’t know what to do to make this not happen again since i ordered a new one

Thinking about getting these for my car, any small tips i should lookout for? I have Aftermarket fifteen52 rims and dont want to worry about rubbing or scrapping. Would the Classic’s be the way to go?
depends how low you want to go. classics won’t really get you to tucking tire in the rear so if you just want to be a little lower classics would be good. the ultimos can be raised a good amount with room in between the fender and tire but can also go a good amount lower

How do you feel about them now mine are going in monday your ride height is pretty much where i want to be since its my daily how do they handle threw the twisties would you say its an improvement for handling?
Brandon Miller these would probably be great then, the fronts seem to go lower than the rear but you can go about 1-2 inches lower than I did if you take out the spring perch on the rear
So what did you set your camber alignment to and how do you access it with that stock brace. Mine has been removed I have strut tower brace but I was wondering what you said it to. zero?
@@Nickjoenap hopefully you at least set both sides the same and tighten them up? I haven't installed mine yet because I only want my tires flush with the fender since I have custom offset wheels. I've had them for a year now and still haven't installed them. I also have rear toe arms. I've been a friend that even with them up all the way it would still be too low and my wheels scrub the fender. I'm running a half inch wide wheels with a 45 offset. Did you ever end up going to get your alignment? how far was it off did they say?

I still haven’t gotten and alignment because I’m stock going to be doing some suspension work and have to replace one of the struts but after that I will. They’re cambered in a little bit but it just looks like the natural camber in the rear
@@Nickjoenap I currently have about knuckles gap up front and rear is a finger gap and I’m rubbing like crazy with 20mm spacers all around, any rubbing issues with your set up.. if you don’t have spacers your probably okay however
@@johnlefever3220 I have 20mm spacers all around and don’t rub. The rears are tucked a little bit and the fronts are probably about half a finger above the fender. I’ve had 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 tires that haven’t rubbed. Maybe try pulling and rolling your fenders
Kushologist Gaming I’m not completely sure what you’re asking but the damper keeps them from being bouncy by limiting how fast they move. Higher dampening rates smoothen out the travel and help counteract the bounce from the spring
Jonathan Ross They don’t have retailers so there aren’t any markups. They sell directly as the manufacturer so they can sell them cheaper. They also have a simpler design compared to $1000+ coilovers for racing. I wouldn’t race on them but they’re great for the street

Hey man, I’ve had these for a while and I want to lower the front just a little bit, I’m not exactly sure how to lower it while in the car?
You have to take the wheel off and adjust the the rings down with the spanner wrenches that they came with

Did you need to modify anything suspension wise besides the coilovers? New endlinks or camber arms or anything like that?

Mine didn’t have one when I got it but I doubt you’d need to take it off

I just left it as what it came as. The only way to access it is to cut holes in the brace or take the coilovers out

Did you set preload before installing, if so how how many millimeters?
Yeah I didn’t measure it. You’ll have to adjust it until it’s how you like it

No top hats. Not a true ride height adjustment, it's a pre load adjustment. Cheaper quality materials.
How much did you raise the rear?
Not much, I pretty much matched it to how the front is in this video and pictures. Maybe half an inch on the threads showing from the lowest setting
