The Irony of having to go get water to wash a fire truck that holds 5000 gallons of water !? ... you did check the tanks sid? !! 😀 ... was hoping you would get back to do the oshkosh when you and joe were last in the yard. ... top job and hoping the comet brings in the views like the victor. 👍
Mr. Hewes (Joe) did a walk around / tech talk on this beast earlier this summer. Also started it up (one engine only) and drove it out of its parking spot to where you found it. It is a leviathan for sure. Great job on sprucing it up!
I love that it is never the same video twice with you. I love that you offer a variety of content. Power washing looks so cool...and you make it look fun.
I like that you have the experience now of earlier work, as on planes, and you knew what types of things to do, and could get at it efficiently. This is fun to watch. Oh yes, and that place had water volume problems... :) Glad you have new equipment. Nice it will be painted, good rescue work.
my life i have missed your videos smash out the content even if its just uncut timelapse just put all the clips together and post it love to see them !!!
I'm looking forward to when you come back to do that plane. Those green steps are going to turn to shiny silver! How fun is that going to be?!! Cheers!
This was a pleasure to watch. I love watching the roofs get a proper scrub and rinse, but this was a nice change of pace. Thank you for all that you do for us. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Good to see you back Sid and glad you knocked those 3 weeks out and you've managed to book a holiday - Hope you all enjoy! Huge fan of Joe and the gang - after you cleaned the plane before so I'm an avid watcher of his vids now too and have caught up on all his as well as yours! You did a cracking job on this huge machine and like you said, it's like a playground there for you - go do everything lol (over time of course) make sure you film it too! Cracking vid!
I was really hoping to see the top and the view from the top. That is an amazing vehicle and you did a stunning job. Thanks for taking us along on the journey.
Omg this is like a scene from power wash simulator 😍 I can't wait to see you doing other vehicles here. Also think it would be awesome if you created your own power wash simulator game with a mini you and partridge van on each job 😂
So, you'll be cleaning the Victor (Part II), Comet and Nimrod? That's music to my ears. The OshKosh looked great. What a beast. Have a fantastic weekend, Sid. Cheers.
I'm watching this while playing Power Wash Simulator. This was a really interesting video. It was great seeing that Victor in the background as well. I'll have to go and look that up. All the best for the holiday.
As usual excellent work Sid. What a massive truck and you totally brought it back. How many times did you have to fill your tank. New equipment looks seems to have some grunt. Relieved to know you and yours are off to have a holiday. Yes, you certainly deserve it. Thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Absolutely brilliant vids Sid. We love hearing you talk and explain, dont apologise. I would love to see you doing most things in there I love Military stuff. Is there any chance of seeing inside any of the big jets, that would be awesome too. I have missed your vids, keep up the good work.
You don’t seem to enjoy your You Tubing anymore. I know you’re very busy. The truck looked great. I hate for all that equipment just sitting there “dying”. Thanks for giving one piece a new life. 😊
Nice one, Sid. Good to see you doing something different again. That's certainly a beast of a fire truck, but am really hanging out to see you work on the Comet! 👍 👌
I love the firetruck! Will you be doing another airplane? these videos are awesome (I'm old, so awesome is my word). I love your videos and will see you in the next one after your vacation/holiday. 🤓
Start cleaning from the bottom and work your way upwards. Rule nr 1 in car cleaning ;) What you are doing here is washing the soap of before you get to pressure-wash it. For just removing access soap after wash, its ok to start from the top.
Jeesh, you cleaned that big Airplane, and now, you are cleaning that big Fire truck!! I don't like ladders, but this would be the kinds of cleanings that I would love to do!!
For days like this, I would get a 'Camera Umbrella'. You can get different mounts and what not for them and they really help just shade your camera from the direct heat
Nice new machine thigh a big fuel tank. What made you pt it in the side door instead of the back like the last one. I’ve been there with a car club I used to be in
I didn't know it could be interesting watching someone jet wash a vehicle, but having watched you do the Victor a while ago, which was diabolically filthy, I subscribed to your channel. One thing I missed: I didn't see you do the top or, had the camera switched off while you were doing it.?
Hi Sid, noticed the new T-Shirt looks really nice. I am looking at getting new shirts myself, just wondering where you get them from please? Keep up the good work and have a nice time off mate.
Ahh, an Oshkosh..... an American heavy-duty truck. Which was started in 1917. The brand typically specializes in trucks for military, fire trucks, construction vehicles such as cranes, and tow vehicles. More with military than anything. And yes, they're massive vehicles! Oshkosh also owns Pierce. Which is a brand that only makes fire trucks. Which is older than Oshkosh Trucks as it was formed in 1913. Sory, Sid, I'm just a car nerd!
I don't know if this would interest you but I thought it would really help you, on the SB Mowing channel, he uses a support he bought that adapts to several tools, adapts to shovels, in his case, lawnmower and more, which creates more support for your hand, and as I saw that you use both hands a lot, maybe it's a good support ❤ idk If links work, I'll leave them in the comment below ↓
This made me think of a possible upgrade for jobs that are far from a water source, a towable water tank to resupply from. No idea if that would be in your budget yet but you can do with the idea what you will.
Great videos thanks but one suggestion if I may. Why not ask the owners of vehicles like this fire truck to move it to the hydrant or other water source? Best wishes
Did you get up on top and wash it, too? I wondered if you did and that was part of the video that was lost when your camera shut off. It looked like a water cannon on top.
10 wide 45 long 13 high. Dimensions for when it was shipped, chalked on and never cleaned off, just weathered away. And what happened on the roof, I bet it was as bad as any side.
Too bad when they moved it Sid they didn't stop at the hydrant and fill it up with water! That beast holds 5000 gallons of water and you could have just used the tank water instead of having to go back and forth to the hydrant!
You need a trailer with at least a thousand litre ISO container on it for spare water for jobs like this, especially now that you have the bigger machine.
Damn, Sid. You really do live the world of pressure cleaning simulator. You get to clean all sorts of fun stuff.
I did not realize how much I missed watching your videos. Enjoy your holiday and hope Colin makes it.
ah bless you thank you so much!
I used to drive this fire engine back in the 90's. It was stationed at Fairford. Good to see it again after all these years👍

No Sid, do not shut up.
Keep talking and giving us your great content! ♥

Dear Sid: I have just seen this video, Sunday Sept. 29/2024, that was the biggest firetruck which I have ever seen. Great job Sid.
This was a pleasure to watch. I love watching the roofs get a proper scrub and rinse, but this was a nice change of pace. Thank you for all that you do for us. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Excellent video Sid 😎

Talk all you want Sid. Good to see you. Thank you for the video. Have a great holiday. Take care and be safe.

Enjoyed the time lapse. The music was perfect for it! Great job as always, Sid!
I've never been this early to any video on youtube lol Love seeing the colabs between you & Mr. Hewes!
So, you'll be cleaning the Victor (Part II), Comet and Nimrod? That's music to my ears. The OshKosh looked great. What a beast.

What a fun job. It’s kind of like that airplane you did. Glad to see your videos are back. Glad you’re catching up on work.

Nice work man damn those tires are massive. Would love to see that baby full steam ahead
Have a great holiday. Those planes and other vehicoes looked so cool, love antique transports. Truck looked great after working your magic.
You don’t seem to enjoy your You Tubing anymore. I know you’re very busy. The truck looked great. I hate for all that equipment just sitting there “dying”. Thanks for giving one piece a new life. 😊
Cracking job on the truck!! Massive improvement! Enjoy the holibobs, you deserve it 😊
Nice one, Sid. Good to see you doing something different again. That's certainly a beast of a fire truck, but am really hanging out to see you work on the Comet! 👍 👌

It's good to see these old machines get some TLC.
That's what I needed after today. Thank you Sid ❤
Great to see you! Enjoy holiday with the family!!

Great video Sid - thanks for posting!
Looking forward to the boscombe down plane. I used to work at QentiQ and was born and raised in Boscombe down

Great video thanks for sharing, random, do you ever get a buzz from getting off a really stubborn stain, i know i do when doing my own patio!
What about the roof?
was agreed that we'd leave it, had grills on top that were not removed in time so would of made it near impossible to clean
When was the last time you presser washed a Tank ??? 😊😊😊
Hi Sid, noticed the new T-Shirt looks really nice. I am looking at getting new shirts myself, just wondering where you get them from please? Keep up the good work and have a nice time off mate.

Playing this on two screens. I got to see all angles
Nice job on the fire truck. Haven't seen you in a while.
Great job Sid
Great job. I love your videos!
What an amazing job, looks awesome. Did you do the roof?
Great job as always !
Lovely job Sid, is it a long way to the hydrant or could you lay in a line?
I don't know if this would interest you but I thought it would really help you, on the SB Mowing channel, he uses a support he bought that adapts to several tools, adapts to shovels, in his case, lawnmower and more, which creates more support for your hand, and as I saw that you use both hands a lot, maybe it's a good support ❤ idk If links work, I'll leave them in the comment below ↓
Great job of course Sid but how on earth do these huge planes get to there without causing major traffic chaos?
Is it possible to know who bought it? Does he have an UA-cam channel he gonna rebuilt it
That was fun to see. They make those not far from me here in WI. 🇺🇸
Enjoy your time off ❤
olhar essas lavagens divertidas a partir daqui do brasil é muito bom..top top
Imagine owning that thing as your personal vehicle
Good job on the fire engine Sid.. but what about the top .. the roof.. did you not clean that on purpose or did you forget to do it?
I really like it. It’s bloody huge
This made me think of a possible upgrade for jobs that are far from a water source, a towable water tank to resupply from.
No idea if that would be in your budget yet but you can do with the idea what you will.
Very clean well done,[ hope its the right one ]
should used the firetrucks water. genious
missed your videos!!
Great videos thanks but one suggestion if I may. Why not ask the owners of vehicles like this fire truck to move it to the hydrant or other water source? Best wishes

Enjoy ya holiday and I can’t wait to do this plane
Hi Sid, Tom Syndicate (life of Tom) is looking for someone to clean his roof. Could be a massive collab!
Yeah we’re in talks, will be doing it later this month most likely 👍👍
Was the top of the fire truck cleaned too? Just curious.
Your hair looks better short.
Any reason you didn't clean the top of the Oshkosh?
Wow a mammoth job quite literally😂, you should think about getting a towable water bowser
E o teto do caminhão não será lavado também?
u didnt clean the top of that oshkosh?
Couldn’t you ask them to move it closer to the water source?
10 wide 45 long 13 high. Dimensions for when it was shipped, chalked on and never cleaned off, just weathered away. And what happened on the roof, I bet it was as bad as any side.
Could you get a towed bowser to increase your water capacity??
Or do you not have enough of the big jobs to make it viable?
He aint no Mario.
Too bad when they moved it Sid they didn't stop at the hydrant and fill it up with water! That beast holds 5000 gallons of water and you could have just used the tank water instead of having to go back and forth to the hydrant!
New headline: Washing junk in a junkyard
You need a trailer with at least a thousand litre ISO container on it for spare water for jobs like this, especially now that you have the bigger machine.
I live an hour from Oshkosh.
