Seat belt's fine Nick - it's your waistline expanding since you got married
Lol I’m the same weight since high school 215
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate kg or lbs?
Well that was my Car in 1977... Only it was Blue with black vinyl and I had a 4-speed with 373 Posi from the factory. Of course I worked at a standard oil gas station with a garage to work on it. :) Wish I had it today!
The Dodge Brothers really knocked I out of the park with the lines on this body style. It looks like it's doing a hundred miles an hour sitting at the stop light.
Man she's a beauty, won't last long.
Sweeet 68 charger with the hide away lights gets my vote everytime
A lot of people don't realize the 383 used in the 1968-1971 Charger is not the performance 383 Magnum used in the Super Bee and Road Runner. Nice torquey motor, nice cruiser but you're not gonna run 14's in the 1/4 mile...
mikesteelheart I thought the same thing! A 383 magnum was 335 hp I think which put it on par with Pontiac gto 389 from 1966. A regular 383 would probably be about 275 hp. Not quite a muscle car but a great cruiser!!
@@charlesatwell6658 I just looked it up...the 383 4bbl in the Charger was rated at 330hp (just 5 less than the Magnum). But actual power difference would be more like 40hp. The weird thing is this car has an orange block like the Magnum engines (the regular 383 would be blue) but it also has a plain black air cleaner. So good chance it's a 1966-1967 383 that was repainted.
Hang on to it, going to the Wag-a-bag to buy a lottery ticket ... Wish me luck 😆😅😂
Nice Mopar ! 👍
Too late, dude. Already got the winning ticket. :)
This was my high-school car, except mine was white with a black vinyl top. It had a magnum 383 RT. One of my very favorite rides
Car seems to need a lot of work for 39 nine
a complete one gonna cost ya 70 to 100k
It's over 50 yrs old! What you expect. It's. Not a full show car for 40k
You do a good job of explaining away the imperfections in that car the only problem is there are a lot of them.
And a few of them rsise major red flags.
The fact that this car is a recent repaint is a HUGE red flag.
Fresh paint hides a lot of problems.
As an investment grade automobile this car is wwwwwaaaayy overpriced.
Just sayin'.
I agree Kevin. Overall a nice car but it has a lot of little stuff wrong with it. A lot of that little stuff is going to be expensive to fix.
Finally got a MOPAR!!!!! Best car you guys have shown so far. 1968-1969 Charger's are my favorite!!!! MOPAR OR NO CAR 🔥💯😎
That is a cool car, 68-70 Chargers just mad ass kicking looking cars💪
My personal favorite Mopar of the 60's, Nick! 👍
For all you Maple Motor fan's I salute you!!! Bit if Nick can't fix you up I have a 2016 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker plus that's FULLY loaded with only 18,500 miles I'll hook you up with for 25,995. Leather interior too!
@@stillnotwoke Thank you brother!!! I can't believe what these older, needs ALOT of work cars are up for sale for! Price wise!🤔💁♂️ I'm serious about selling my car you read about!!
@@stillnotwoke And my horn works! Lol🙋♂️
@@stillnotwoke I do too! Mines a granite silver metallic color with the satin black Shaker stripes! Yeah that the payoff price for this! No Stimulus money for the disabled, like myself! 😤
I always enjoy ur vids man! you drive the cars...so comfy! love it! specialy the 68/70s chargers, Montes..just love it
I've owned two 68s, a 70 R/T and have owned my 69 since 85.
i would take the 70 over the 68 all day long
@@robvoyles I liked everything about the 70 except for the front bumper
Its ok i could get used hellcat for little more or nice scat pack challenger nice nice although this one looks nice needs. Work though
Im not a Mopar guy but price seems kinda high
@Pauly Gambino these second gen chargers are going for 25k as rollers nowadays, wish the price would come down a bit but with all the fast and furious movies the prices keep climbing
that is a super nice Charger , I love the 383 and the stock wheels !!
The 68 Charger was named by Chrysler to be “the best looking car produced in the 60’s.” This quote is taken from the Muscle Car Red Book (1991) and I absolutely agree. I’ve owned 3 68’s myself.
I dunno. I always like the road runner better. The first gen camaro and 2nd gen stangs, I mean, I don't see toping those. Challengers were a bit cooler to me than these big chargers too but hey, I'd drive the hell out of one lol.
Very beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colours thanks Nick have a very nice day
Finally!!!!
My dream car right here!. Now If I bought it I'd get it repainted to viper blue. I think that it would look amazing with a blue color. Great car and whoever buys it is so lucky!. Thanks for sharing Nick and I'll see you on the next one lol. 🙏🍻
Holy moly the King of the Road
dream car
One of my dream cars
it pings like hell...
Man love it only year with those taillights it will be gone today very rare
That is one sexy ride Nick! It won’t stay on the lot a week!
Sounds like its safe to say Mopars are a quick sell they should be very nice cars!
I owned the same 1968 383 stock car except mine was brown 1976-1980 ..drove like a boat around corners very heavy car a bit of dog with a stock 2 bbl carb
Maann!!!!!! Thank u Nick. Good job man👍👍at least charger!!!! 😄
Thank you
Love the 68' !!!!
To each his own, chevy! Ford, dodge, all of them are cool man! The guy is honest! Love to see your enventory, the right one im on it!
Bad spelling
Dream car right there.
Your honest reviews of the cars are great!! And I would buy a car from you guys and probably will !!
ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! Been waiting for this car, finally got it and I can't get it right now! C'mon guys !!!
Sexy car, thank you for finally getting one of those. Hopefully when the stars align ( and the wife says ok) ill be there to pick her up
1thing I would love to see is every now and then you jump in it from a dead stop, maybe just couple gears just for a little taste. Momma after all these years was told to get me a car. got a couple hoops to jump thru first tho. Always watching and waiting. For the hoops got to get garage cleaned up so will hold 3 cars again sell the -86 Camaro that haven't even touched in 4-5 years except as a table and get rid of couple others, think she knows my health get better of me as far as energy goes for the cleaning, and can't hire it out. Still watching, just never know what you might get in that excites me nuff to push thru.
I'm communicating before T.R. hopefully it burns rubber 🤪 AWESOME Nick
Awesome car, I wold love to get that car but don’t have money for it yet.
that was my high school car only in a manual. same color.
No AC No deal. gotta have air!!!
would've rather a 440 but still a beauty!!!
Which one is easier to find parts, the 383 or the 440?
@@FollowMeAndBeHappy the 383 im assuming.
@@FollowMeAndBeHappy Most parts are interchangeable.
Chargers are neat, but I'm more partial to '68 or '69 Roadrunners with spd and '71 Barracuda's or Cuda's!!
At least charger’s and barracuda’s are their own car. road runners are just mixed in with satellite’s and gtx’s not to mention the 4 doors as well of that body style.
I am sooo glad it hasn't been made into a General Lee.
A Charger was used in the Movie Bullitt
No kidding
Dodge Charger maravilhoso!
And I always wondered Nick, What's your preference Automatic or Manual?.. And this question works for either of the two choices, But let's say you find the classic you've wanted but it wasn't the trans type you prefer, would you still buy it or just hang out and wait to find one with the trans type you like?.. Curiosity on this killing me like an alley cat lol.
the AMX is another rarity!
I just subbed to your other channel. Love the music skin👍🔥
Thank you
Cool car. But for the money you're asking the car should be absolutely perfect. The buyer shouldn't have to fix anything after they buy it!!
These actually bring much more, we are on the low side of the market.
👍 Yes.
Mopar at Maple Motors!
Hate to say the motor sounds hurt. But a great car to modify to modern motor, trans, brakes and suspension. Nice tubular a arms etc.
I'd get that vinyl roof torn off, prep and paint roof gloss black.
Black leather TMI interior too. Keep the column shifter and have a custom console made up for extra gauges and a modern touch screen stereo. Cup holders of course 2 in the custom console.
Easy 50k on top of price of car.
But well worth it.
Nice nick
hi, do you sell cars? what about shipping to another country? and if there are other cars, for example, up to $ 5000
I likes Camaro
Going to say horn works
Sweet 🔥🔥🔥🔥⚡️⚡️⚡️💨💨💨💨
Lotto time!
Hey nick! What instrument do you play brother?
I can't be the only one that thinks that that intro sounds sort of like Nirvana Smells Like Teen Spirit
Didn't sound real good at least in my opinion.
40 grand and no AC!! Hell no. Wene it gets to 105 ule be regretting this car.. it's pretty thoe.
wich i had the do$$
Damn it.
Bet it is sold
Let me guess already sold. 😉
does anyone have any idea how many The Dukes Of Hazard destroyed??
309
Jeez your a busy man today
Seriously though I want you to retire and enjoy life and let me take over doing the test drives and walk arounds
I need to get the f out this god forsaken state and seriously thinking bout the volunteer state
No wonder it’s 39k....not 440
she's not a 426 hemi either lol.
