Great information, thanks! Not completely positive, but I think that with the firs and third plates you have a couple things working. One, both pieces have been work hardened, and in the first plate you have the convex shapes working to help! Again, just a thought!
lol like at the end of lethal weapon where riggs shoots through that front loaders bucket with that mac10. probably wouldnt have worked like thaat. sorry for the spam yt keeps removing my comments
it is not uncommon for the truck blade (the big flat blade, not the teeths) to be made of hardox type steels for the teeth, i would not surprised if it was some cermet with some carbides and some very high hardness coatings (to make the teeth abrasion resistant)
That was the greatest 30-06 ricochet I've seen yet. I think this is what people imaging happens when they hear about fragmentation on steel armor.
