this is INCREDIBLE WTF you're so unbelievably underrated dude. if i hadn't clicked this video and it had just come on on autoplay, i would have thought it was a famous composition or smth until i saw the title thank you for uploading
wonderful composition with attention to detail without losing the focus of the construction as a whole. also, when people comment on my own music and they compare it to other composers, i wonder if thats a compliment... anyways, i dont think your composition sounds like any composer ive heard till now.
@@abrahamsonpiano it’s recorded using my Yamaha digital piano and the native instruments grandeur piano VST. I plan on recording future compositions on my real Boston upright piano, but recording equipment can be veryyyy expensive so I’m still working on that.
@lucasesweeney wow, impressive to get that quality of playing and sound from an electric. Well done. And congratulations on writing a sonata, thats a lot of work. Best of luck recording on the acoustic. I've yet to figure it out 😁
Is this your own performance, or did you run it through a software? Personally, I love the first movement, which sounds just like you'd summon the ghosts of Ravel's "Ondine" and Chopin's Etude in c minor op. 25 no. 12.
The first movement was great to listen through,.but I wasn't impressed with the following two movements. Great work still; you use motivic ideas in a nuanced manner.
@@texanfrog1750 I’ve been taught a few basic things, through my piano teacher, AP music theory and such but everything else I’ve kind of just picked up from analyzing the music that I like to play and listen to, so I guess a little self taught?

“Hello guys, in today’s video we’re going to be listening to an ABSOLUTE GENIUS AT WORK.” Amazing piece. Well done 👏
Well... I don't know if I would say that. It's a great piece of music though!
Incredible piece! This is a proof that there's still people making good music
It seems like the first movement is heavily inspired by Ravel
Probably closer to mid-period Debussy
Ondine, de Gaspard de la nuit?
Yes, and the second Chopin ballade, and the third Rachmaninov concerto 2.
I'm impressed, the music is so beautiful! 😮
The second movement is an absolute marvel, can't stop re-listening and enjoying it!
Very nice. I think some more variation in the accompaniment during the first movement. Some of the figures feel over saturating at a certain point.
I'm so glad this appeared on my feed because this is amazing
Stumbled upon this by complete accident, and I sure am happy about that. Beautiful compositions.
now this is the music ive been looking and waiting for in todays time THIS
This is absolutely divine
love it, its like if a stravinsky melody was accentuated in the romantic style
This is great!
The 3rd movement reminds me of rach Concerto. This sonata is perfect and beautiful ❤
This piece is awesome, good job dude! You'll have a new follower

Keep it going 👏 it's incredible
南無阿彌陀佛 感恩合十 謝謝您
That 3rd movement reminds of Rachmaninoffs 2nd piano concerto
very interesting. the first movement sounds very reminiscent of Ondine, the last two reminded me a lot of alkan!
Alkan? Weird.
Wonderful piece!
and youre a wonderful pianist too :)
Okay this one is amazing
Que hermoso se escucha 😮😮
Amazing! I love it.
Poderia se chamar de sinos de vento
Cool, can't wait to hear original music
The left hand reminds me of Debussy
This is so good! It reminds me a lot of Debussy. Is it okay if I try orchestrating some of it?
@@mossmossmoss thank you! Also yes of course you can orchestrate it if you’d like
Fantastic music
Gorgeous !! Keep it up, people will study your works for years to come
Beautiful. Good job!
It's really nice piece, good job
May I ask what your recording setup is? The sound is very clear.

can you be my mentor
For some reason the second movement gives me Fantasie Improptu and Ballade no.1 (Chopin) vibes
@@ElSarcasticoo structurally it’s very much inspired by the ballade, so good catch!
祝福大家 平安安康 歡喜自在 一切美好
Its beautiful how did you learn to compose so well?
Do you take commissions? I love this piece!
@@tcclarinet I’ve never taken commissions before, but I’m pretty sure I’d be open to it
@@lucasesweeney Do you have a way I could contact you directly?
adorable!
Well done!
how can you have such experience!!
Beautiful
Thanks very very much 🙏 🙏 🙏

Should have used 3 staves to write some sections such as 4:20. But that's merely the visual aspect. The music sounds incredible!

@@carloscg9720 yes it will! I just have to work on an album cover and submitting it to distribution services

Suena a Debussy y también al autor de la música de la película de el piano. Pero suena bien...
