People never realize how good the actual moment is until you reflect 20 years later. To think Sandler Spade Rock shared an office. Wow
Oh, people realized it then. But then they all got fired. :(
and farley!!!
How could u not mention farley, all of these guys always talk about him being their favorite comedian because he didnt even try
Yes of course Farley too. He’s truly missed. Except for BH Ninja. That’s when he jumped the shark or did too much blow when he decided to do that one. Young Grasshopper
@N Rod as funny as it may seem some people get their kicks stomping on a dream.-Frank Sinatra.
Even though I wasn't even alive, I can imagine the nostalgia he must have. Like Andy from The Office said: "I wish there was a way to know you're in the "good old days" before you've actually left them.
The Farley tribute song was really touching.
it hurt!
Heard it touched all the current cast and jimmy Fallon.
He was the last king of physical comedy. I miss his amazing performances.
Awww he seems so humble and gracious what an approachable guy ♡
@Bronson Pinchot Adam Sandler is from Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa
Steve He moved to Manchester NH at age 6 from where I do not know.
My buddy works for the government and as a favor he gave Sandler a ride to the airport once; Sandler ended up mailing him a copy of every one of his films.
The fact he stands in those god awful lines at Disney instead of dropping his name to get special treatment 👌🏻
I went to high school with a girl who ran into him at a theme park in Canada. He was enjoying time with his family but he was apparently a great guy and super down to earth.
He mentioned Farley more than anyone, and always does. What a friend.
I love Adam Sandler. Not just because he was in my age cohort, and I have so many fond memories of his movies and time at SNL...but bc he also seems like a very sincere person. Can't wait for the show!
Cohort sounds like a dirty word.
Loved him on snl. He brought Opera man back, and I loved his song about Chris Farley. I hope you enjoyed the show!
I just saw a skit with him and Farley, as an old married Couple, reading Zagats. Farley "Oh Hank" Sandler "Give me cancer now!"
I think if Chris Farley was alive he would have been in Grown Ups with Adam and the Guys.
adam sandler wrote the script for grown ups when chris farley was still alive and he was supposed to be in it instead of kevin james
That would have been sooo much better
@@brandonpineo1557 lmao no chance
Kevin James is a fuckin' MORON compared to IF Farley could been in!!!! IT'S so sad...
Farley, you just KNOW would of probably done like a character that was a douchy father with a good career and Sandler and other guys playing roles could of reminded Farley's character of "the good 'ol days" and Farely's character gradually lets loose, and becomes incredibly HILARIOUS, COOL and otherwise interesting...
Rest
In
Peace,
you hilarious madman! :.D
Everyone liked that 👍
Shared an office in A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!
A doo ba dee doo!
You'll have plenty of time for commenting when you're living in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER
RIP Chris Farley
Sandler was unexpectedly excellent on SNL. One of the best episodes I've seen in a very long time. The show became him. That's the sign of a good comedian when the show reflects the host rather than just the host speaking whatever the writers give him.
When I'm depressed I watch Big Daddy to help lift me. I think he's such an underrated film maker
Click! Omg
That movie gives me a big ol knot in my throat.
Louis Graham so quotable!
You can tell when he loves a project he lights up on screen
Mr. Deeds does that for me
Awww, I love him. He hasn't changed much. Thank you for the interview.
Adam Sandler won me back with his special
Me as well.
Same
SAME!!
Same here. I was never a Sandler fan but for some reason I put that standup special on and laughed my ass off for an hour.
@@marcus_ohreallyus me too
I never cared much for Adam Sandler's humor but I love this interview and his was the best SNL episode of the year BY FAR!
That snl office was probably littttt 🔥
Great vibes between these two. I really like Seth; he’s a great host!
I agree, this was enjoyable!
And in general, Seth is gracious and generous as a host. I really dont like it when late night show hosts are sarcastic, egotistical and antagonistic, like David Letterman was.
Yes only late night host that's serious and funny on every show
One of the greatest movies ever made still has to be Mr. Deeds. Imagine Adam Sandler running for president with Rob Schneider with the slogan, "You can do it!"
That was "The Waterboy"
Omg I just watched his Chris Farley tribute song again and it's _still_ super emotional 😭
I love this guy ... he’s a riot
His tribute to the late great Chris Farley is amazing and impossible to keep a dry eye
His guitar abilities are amazing. I loved it when they were on SNL... thanks Adam..
He 100 percent looks like Adam Sandler still lmao
50 First Dates and the Wedding Singer are my wife's go-to movies for an evening on the couch together.
Paul Casson she must like blended too I’d imagine that’s a good one too
@@dotherightthing251 You beat me to it. All 3 of these movies were great in my book. Enjoyed them with my kids and girlfriend. Funny story...my Father is 85, about 2 years ago he said he saw one of the funniest movie he's ever seen. Said he was laughing so much it hurt. Blended. Hah!
Strange...your wife enjoys watching 50 Shades of Grey with me in the bedroom.
Ur such a good guy posting that.
Wedding Singer is so adorable! I also love Airheads!!!
Saw him at a Starbucks near Fordham Univ in NYC a few years back, he blends and seemed very chill
This was a great interview. That was my favorite era of SNL and some of my true idols. Love that crew so much, and i wish Farley were still around.
It is a hard day when you realize that if they make a biopic about you, you'll be first pick to play your dad.
ok but wont they mind the fact that im female
@@izzah310 Touche.
I mean Brandon lee was thought to play bruce lee
Sometimes I wonder how Chris Farley would be if he were alive today. But still miss the guy.
It's obviously very emotional for Sandler: wish he hadn't waited so long!! Hope this will be the first of many appearances, he did really great.
I miss the old days. They really were the best times. I think the most special time ever on earth was the 90s
I think Seth laughs so much in this interview. He really enjoys AS's humour
Seth, what I appreciate about you is your realness. You're up there having fun--and not just faking it.
you don't know it because he don't want to let everybody knows who he is on the insde[outside of studios like these] that's why he likes to be nice like this! You should think before you comment stuff on here buddy!
glad to see you back Adam Sandler!! Always enjoy your work!!
I do love the SNL behind the curtain conversations!
You'd think it'd get old, but I genuinely love every interaction Seth has with people from the SNL cast. It's consistently entertaining and really uniquely warm for a talk show.
I love him and his wife they are adorable and he’s such a goof! I hope he is truly the guy he appears to be!!! ❤️
Punch, Drunk, Love is such a underrated movie and performance by Sandler
Adam is so likable he seems a bit vulnerable and relatable as a person, especially for a celebrity.
Well NO WONDER the show was so good...he brought back the old writers, especially Robert Smiegel. His fingerprints were all over the Opera Man bit.
His movies are atrocious nowadays, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a good genuine dude. And his late night interviews are always really good.
Haha Blended is quite good.
I couldn’t believe it but i really really liked his latest Netflix one with Chris Rock (one week?) about the week before his daughter’s wedding. It’s actually hilarious, and i don’t know how that happened.
j bre -I also think Just Go With It has its funny moments.
They make money.
travis03 we know why they get made, we just don’t know how one (or two) in the last 10 years managed to be funny. THAT’S the mystery.
I love Adam Sandler!! His movies take me to my happy place!!
I wish I could get the secs back I used to watch this video. That doesn't mean I didnt love Chris farley he was a diamond in the ruff , God bless his talent we all miss him.A true legend like bulushi an candy.
Adam Sandler is the best! That Netflix special was awesome!!!
Lisa Brown I just saw it thanks to your comment :) It made me laugh and cry, that Chris Farley song :(, I loved it! Thank you!
I 💖 it when he honored his friend
Such a humble man
Can't wait to see him return on SNL. His next movies Murder Mystery and Uncut Gems look good for his career.
He's turning into John Turturro with each year.
he wishes
He is very very sneaky.. Lol
haha. that or Al Pacino.
he sure is
Or Bob Dylan lol
When Adam said he doesn't do other stuff I thought of "Reign over me" he deserved an Oscar for that fucking movie I'll always love The Sandman
Sandman!!! My ultimate crush 😍😍❤️❤️
Always loved Adam Sandler and this is why.
What a nice, genuine and funny interview. Haven't heard anything from this guy in years 👍👍👍
You need Netflix then 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
A true Hollywood scene is in coneheads . Adam Sandler only has one cameo but he sats at a table with Dan aykroyd and Sinbad!!!!
Amazing Al Pacino impression! He nailed it!
Adam Sandler is now the elder statesman of sketch comedy. Christ I’m old.
I am having a blast discovering the range sandier had/has beyond Zohan and that other movie where he played his own twin sister. He is so goddamn talented!
I knew it! Sandler had some of the old writers penning for him when he hosted SNL! The writing on this episode was a massive upgrade from the norm.
He is so RICH but so HUMBLE...i love him
He walked out on the street starring at the people. That's hilarious 😂
he's legendary 🙌
My 9 y/o daughter & I love the song:
😁😂
🎶Phone~Wallet~Keys🎶
My daughter *is* quite the fan.... she also loves Lunch-Lady Land & Tollbooth Willy
Wonderful comeback 😉😆
w/love from NH
🤪
@MissHMSilk I question the humanity of anyone who dislikes "Lunch Lady Land" or the Thanksgiving song.
Indeed, Adam, we all wish turkey only cost a nickel.
Great interview
Always love for Adam Sandler😊💜
We love you Adam
Really appreciate that Adam kept correcting himself to say "men and women" instead of just "those guys"
Can you imagine what would've happened to the world if he didn't use "inclusive" language?!
Yes... that was very sensitive and progressive. Although for some reason, women just love calling eachother "You guys!" All the time. Sooo...somehow they want it both ways and sadly, they get it. They could try to just get their own thing. Get a word and use it,it is pretty simple. Im amazed he didnt get in trouble no matter how he phrased it. That he planned it and it wasnt spontaneous is....always something,i guess.
@@christofferjenzen78 May I be so bold as to presume that you are a member of the "He-Man Woman Haters Club"?
@@jbreslin8040 You are bold,my fair lady...but I do not agree with this notion. I refuse to believe we live in a world where critisism or annoyance regarding the PC-mob simply and quickly translates into vile misogyny. Suggesting logic and independent innovation is not that. This is a simpleminded, weird knee-jerk reaction to something that was not meant to be taken very seriously.
But you are bold, you do seek conflict for arousal, does the lady not...I like your way of phrasing your indictment of me. Alas, farewell,my sweet, tender harlet. Douth shall bruise my fragile heart if you ever forget me.
I like how uncomfortable Adam Sandler seems....it's charming.
I enjoy it! absolutely! you do it brilliant!
I hope he gets some sleep. Looks exhausted.
I think he looks great. He is 52. He doesn't look like any 52 year olds I know
@@cjdee7091 Yeah, they look better lol
Rolling Ormond It’s been a long time since he was a cast member so SNL’s grueling schedule hit him hard.
That’s just the HD Video
@@cjdee7091 I just turned 52 today and other than my hair, or lack of some of it, I look younger than him.
He’s the best man
What a legend
Adam Sandler makes the world a better place. Seth too!!!!!!!!!!!
Men Adam Sandler strikes me as an old man here that's very tired and somber in reflecting on his youth both longingly and disappointed. Maybe I'm reading too much into this interview but I feel like this is really insightful
I wish I could have been in that Office.
Love sandler!!
I wanted to see you ever since the nice stuff you said😭😂. Lmfao
Adam Sandler is by far my favourite actor ever. I think he is the greatest.
Man Adam Sandler does a killer Adam Sandler impression.
Love Adam one of my favorites.
Love the Movie where he plays the comedian.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You love it so much that it's sacrilegious to say the title.... totally understandable....
Funny people
@@tylersell7781 thank you Tyler and Tyler's Google. My point was that the title would probably have been said if it was a favorite Sandler movie by someone... And not just a description...
I've seen it probably 20 times so I just wrote it for the person commenting
@@tylersell7781 Understandable bro. I definitely don't think that was a movie to dedicate roughly 30 hours of your life to. It basically boiled down to Adam Sandler being a dick to a bunch of famous cameos while Seth Rogan tried to be funny with the script he was given after smoking....
Reminds me of my time on SNL.
I 💗 Adam Sandler - I Miss him So much 💕
Punch-Drunk Love is a great film
I hope that he sings the farely song...it probably won't happen but I'd love to hear it from that stage.
Bobby Mechling it happened! It was awesome. Sad, but wonderful at the same time.
He did. It’s posted it on Instagram.
getting better with age... LOVE LOVE LOVE
SO FUNNY!!!!!
you know farley.... he didn't pick up much 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Adam Sandler is the man
If Sandler doesn't win the Emmy for guest starring, the Academy has serious problems
0:50 for next time when Drac claims tht he doesn't say "Blah blah blah" much🤣🤣
I was thinking at the beginning of this damn Adam looks rough like he needs sleep or something. Makes sense lol
Nice to see a celebrity of his status being humble (claiming he doesn't have range, saying he just started getting recognized, etc.)
Just imagine what a hard job it is on SNL that it got the legendary Adam Sandler nasty after all these years!!! I thought it must have felt like home for him!! Wow!!
Adam Sandler movies make ya feel good.
Gorgeous! I usurp run to Mickey D’s for you guys! Wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world!🤗
I grew up to all his movies and it’s a good feeling to know that he didn’t turn into an asshole!!
They need to have a moment where like Melissa comes out doing Bobby Boucher, Adam's character from Waterboy.
They look like brothers
Sweet man
He actually looks better with age as long as he doesnt get plastic surgery..oh I pray he doesn't ruin his face like so many others..he truly does look his best ever..That Farley tribute song? I Bawled like a 👶
Everybody's got an impression. Maybe they could do a family reunion sketch of his characters.
They actually just did that on the show
@@rachelcampbell1669 I saw, and they did some Opera Man.
@Jim McCracken unfortunately, not.
Nice call. That was a funny sketch.
Just a couple of guys from new hampshire
It's good to see Adam back on his feet
How great was that skit about Romano Tours?
cant wait
Wish he made, Happy Gilmore 2 or Billy Maddison 2
