I remember your songs from the voice and I loved you! I remembered you but didn't really think about you and then in March I saw you at CVX live and I was internally screaming. I'm one of Madilyn's biggest fans, but for me this didn't work, Phil Collins songs are so difficult and really complex, there was no drive or emotion in this performance, they fell flat on the notes in places, didn't hold the notes long enough in key places, just the wrong song for her voice, Madilyn being a music producer, I'm going to be honest and unbiased in my reviews !!!!!! posted by Music Media Productions, Nashville
Maybe because the singers, well, they look pretty young.
I thought it sounded pretty good, until I came across 0:40 and the young boy started to sing... and it truly became a cover. They both sing well and do a great cover... but this song can only become gut wrenching believable if it's from a singer who is older and can identify with this pain and loss!
Try doing this with Tanner James... please...

I'm sorry to look like a hater, but the voices sound terrible; too nasal and too much autotune.
Keep an eye on the mid-high frequencies in your EQ and record more takes isntead of using all that autotune.
This said, I think she is stunningly beautiful and I like the tone of both voices.

I know a lot of people are gonna hate me for this, but it needs to be said. This song is absolutely beautiful and meaningful to me because it's the absolute state of the white race. With the push for misogyny in advertising and entertainment, white men and women need to realize that we need each other more than anybody else in the world. Just like Muhammad Ali said so many years ago... blue bird with blue birds, red birds with red birds. Nobody can relate to me, and my experiences, the way I act, or the way I talk, or like the same things I like, like one of my own kind. It's just nature to be drawn to somebody who is like you. It's unnatural to want to blot out your race and kill your own identity.
Just like he said too... God didn't make any mistake when he made us all different. THAT is what diversity is about, and making all people out to be the same and interchangeable, and intermarrying between the races is what will DESTROY diversity.

Uhhhh, nice try, but.......... this was basically Glee Club kids effort. It's very difficult to do artists who are basically 30 years or older than your current age, because the maturity and grit isn't there. It was flat a little and sung way too proper in terms of annunciation of the words. Relax the words, let some soul take over. Otherwise just cover some Justin Bieber shit.....LOL

This is my favourite song and I'm not taking trying to take away from the fact that you guys have good voices, but Phil's songs are some of the hardest to cover. They have so much emotion in them, they really have meaning and evoke so much from the audience and I just didn't get that from you. The performance was very bland and felt very emotionless. Unfortunately just didn't feel right for me sorry.
