I have an i9 and a 3070 with 32gb ram.
Run on ultra in Amsterdam, Atlanta or Frankfurt i get small stutters and lag. And my ground textures are blurry sometimes. 🤷♂️🤷♂️

What settings are you playing on? I have a 3070 and especially with the A320 i have to really turn the graphics down
Im using ultra settings on a dual set up monitor, fps will drop dramatically on dense airports even you have 64GB RAM.
How to did you get the liveries for the FBW a320? I can only find them for the base a320

can someone tell me how much it would cost (£) for a decent set up to play flight simulator??? do I need some sort of Xbox or a PC? I assume I couldn't play a game like this on my phone. anyone who helps thank you alot
you need a decent gaming PC to be able to play. I don't know If its out on xbox yet but it is supposed to be released sometime. you will not be able to play MSFS on a phone. My gaming pc cost around 1,000$ or around 700.32£

Hey mate! Really cool video. It’s very realistic. If I had one thing to say though, the beacon light is to prevent the ground staff to approach the plane as it’s going to start up its engines, so you have to turn it on only before pushback!

I have ryzen 7 3700x . Rtx 2070 super . 32go 3200ghz and I do not understand why I do not exceed 28 30 fps on international airports and I am only intermediate. yet others manage to play ultra with a worse config

I have the same specs except the RAM. Mine is 16GB and I lag on short final and sometimes stutter. I'm thinking of upgrading the ram to 32 gigs did this work well for you?
Yes J, 16GB is not sufficient for MSFS, at least 32GB RAM is needed to lessen the LAG, you will see massive difference when youre on short final 😍😍🤗🤗, thank you for watching
I have 32gb ram on 3070. It still stutter on final to large airports. My problem is not the 32gb. It’s the 8gb vram.

Is it a mod to start from the airport. Because everytime I fly i just teleport right to the runway. Is there any way to start from the airport and then drive slowly to the runway like in the video? Thank you!
Zoom in on the airport and you can select ramps and parking spaces etc to spawn on :D you need to get pretty close down to see them

you should get on (vatsim) it's a ATC plug in for simulators that has real world ppl volenteers playing as ATC. Oh and vatsim is totally free.

If I wanted a setup to run this (including the sim and flight controls) how much would it cost me?
That cannot be answered because it depends on what settings you want to run and how good you want the flight controls.
But for a decent yoke and pedals a dew hundred and for a high end PC and monitor a couple of grand.
Alternatively get the basic experience on Xbox when it comes out in a couple of months for a quarter of the price.

You can get the more detailed A320 from flybywire simulations. The mod is called A32NX
What is the plugin you are using for voice recognition, FS2 Flight Crew A320 is button only, not voice.

How is the RTX 3070 performing? You said you fly on ultra settings, what is your framrate in Manchester (or even bigger airports) and during flight?
I want to buy a new PC and am unsure about the graphic card. RTX3090 is way too expensive at the moment and so is the 3080. But I'm not sure if 3070 is enough (also in perspective of serving me longer and addons getting larger and better).

so far it is good, my frame rate at ultra settings while flying is around 50-60fps on a 2k (240hz) monitor, but when im in the airport its around 25-35fps.
tried to fly also on a congested airport like JFK or CDG my frame rate at the airport is around 25-35fps, flying in city center of new york and paris around 40-55fps.

Do you find this fun and is it replayable, ik it's big and all but does it get boring after a few days/weeks
Flight simming is quite a time-consuming and expensive hobby. It kind of eats up most or all of your gaming time. And while there's stuff you can mod into most flight sims to vary it up a little, the bread and butter is most definitely point-to point, just like this video here.
Before I got into flight simming, I fell in love with them by watching videos like this. When I had the chance to get a PC capable of running the flight sims of the day, I didn't think anything of spending all that money, even though I'm far from rich and that money would have been more practical spent elsewhere. And there was no worries about possible boredom after a few days. It just didn't factor into my thinking, and 6 or 7 years later, here I still am, playing MSFS2020 these days almost every day, watching videos like this all the time, making a few too, and still not really ever getting bored.
That's how I feel about playing these things after years of almost every day use, but then I'm a little older now, and regular gaming has gotten quite stale for me, but at one time flight simming would likely have bored me too after a few weeks of it.
I would respectfully suggest that if you're already concerned about getting bored before even trying it, then it might not be right for you right now. But you can always find out for sure fairly cheaply, by buying the Xbox Game Pass for Windows. First month is usually much cheaper. Then you can play the thing for a whole month for like a dollar, from there you can either get that curiosity out of your system, or find out that you actually love it and would like to carry on playing it for longer.
If you don't have a PC, hang on because it's coming to next-gen Xbox this year so M$ is saying.
Also you'd need a pretty beefy PC to run the thing to any kind of level that resembles what you're seeing in this video. But you can run it at a lower resolution and framerate on a mid-range PC from 4 or 5 years ago, especially if you have an Nvidia/Intel combo.

For me it helped (a bit) to use another browser on second screen. My Mozilla Firefox maybe has already too much plugins using up ressources, so a used a virgin other browser for browsing in maps and it gave me a few extra fps.

Hi, i thank your laptop can handle medium to high settings on a 1080p resolution, try to upgrading your RAM as well to 32GB as 12GB is not sufficient for MSFS, you might experience lagging. Thank you for watching.
