Light main here with a couple quick tips:
The jump pad on a wall (as demonstrated with the peeking method) can be chained into another jump pad for a ton of momentum, like an angled pad but twice the speed or more, especially if you use a map jump pad that's intended to send you super far
For those with light teammates, let them know this if they don't: a dash into any jump pad will multiply both the momentums and give a massive speed boost, on maps like syshorizon with evenly spaced jump pads, you can chain this to cross the map in seconds, so medium players, remember to donate the pad if you don't need it to help your light along, you never know how much a few extra seconds early on a cashout or a cancel or the like can totally clutch a game
Also, while the map angled jump pads compensate for the low gravity event to send you to the same place, vertical jump pads don't do the same, abuse this with the aforementioned tech and you can send yourself across a whole map very easily and quickly (or if you're a heavy main, you can send yourself to the stratosphere to come down with a slam attack like Adam smasher :)

My buds kinda wanna switch but they dont/cant because-
1) Potato PC. Can run Val or Genshin but cant run The Finals (cuz optimization & CPU heavy)
2) Gunplay feels different than other games. We might vibe with it but others may not like the changes

@@badonkadonk6655 True, when I first started playing the cpu throttling was insane sometimes averaging 100celsius, since then I got it down to about 75-80ish
