I’m actually from the next town over and I was excited to see that you came to Boonsboro! It’s always fun to see somewhere you’re familiar with through a visitor’s eyes. I hope the area treated you well and that you got to see some great fall leaves.
So happy you got to check off a visit to one of the places on your bookish wishlist! I did a little leaf peakin' in October in Massachusetts. My husband was very tolerant of my intense desire to visit Concord and Salem. Took a fan girl tour of Orchard House, Walden Pond, Sleepy Hollow Cemetary and the ridge where Emerson, Alcott and Thoreau are buried. Made me so happy!
I have stayed at the Inn twice before. The first time we stayed at a room that faced the front street. It was soooo noisy and we had a hard time staying asleep. The second time we were in one of the rooms upstairs that faced the courtyard. It was so much better. The coffee shop next door is also one of our favs. They have amazing pastries. We are going back in the summer for one night away.
I love seeing the actual Inn! Thanks for sharing that with us. The Inn Boonsboro trilogy was really enjoyable for me and it would be a blast to see the inn in person.
Aww, this is so cool. I also drive down to Boonsboro for a Nora Roberts book signing years ago. It was a very scenic village. Unfortunately, I got so tongue tied when I got to Nora I could barely even say hi!😂
I love seeing you travel with friends. Like Scotland and then your recent book friends vlog. It's so fun and like I get a mini vacation. Loved the green dress!
I loved this vlog! that town is so cute. And you rationalizing why you NEEDED to buy all of those books was adorable. (i agree, you would have lost money!)🤣
This is amazing!!!! I had no idea the inn actually existed! I stumbled across your video because I read the first book which I own the paperback, but I borrowed my sisters second and third book the first read through. So I was searching an audiobook version on UA-cam. Rereading the trilogy and seeing your video makes me wanna go there! That would be so much fun!!
What a charming little town! The Inn was so nice! ❤ I WISH you had your “I have personally explained the process to you, Debra” merch with you though 😂
When you said poorly designed highway I immediately thought Virginia. When my parents come to visit they won't drive if possible because it's always a headache and stress for them
@@bookslikewhoa haha come visit me in the lower half and you'll question everything. I live on an unlit two lane road plus to get to the non country VA beach it's two to four highways with construction and questionable drivers
Loved this! Such a cute little town and adorable Inn. You are the reason I gave Nora's books a try and I have been hooked ever since. Would love to go there someday!
Love this! The first of this trilogy is the only Nora Roberts I have ever read, and this reminds me that it was good and I should finish off the trilogy. Glad you and your friend had a fun girls weekend.
I love your vlogging videos, they are always so cosy. Here in Germany the weather has gone from cosy fall vibes to cold dark never see the sun vibes. So I am sending a lot of love to you.
What a treat for you and her friend, as well as one for us! How Fun. I took notes, and I am hoping to visit, One Day. Sounds like the perfect get away in the Fall. So happy for you!
What a beautiful Inn and town. Also reminds me I need the 3rd book in the Innsborough series. I did buy a 3rd book of a paraNora yesterday along with the newest JD Robb and caught up in that series. Nora November is a thing! ❤
Thanks for sharing this trip! Loved the Inn. Also, I had no idea, that Nora's husband owns a bookstore. How cool is that?! However, the vibe of the store seemed a little bleak to me (like a lot of bookstores do these days). Maybe it's only "through the lens, or my expectations were too high? Anyway, awesome video with great insights!
Always wanted to go there, but I heard some years ago, that it burned doen.. well, I am happy, that's not the case.😊 Anyway, I am jealous of you, but happy for you!!
I grew up in Boonsboro, and this is my first time seeing the inside of the inn. It's too expensive for most locals to want to stay there. Those of us who are old enough remember the inn mostly as that building that *exploded* while it was being renovated twenty-ish years ago, burning down most of the surrounding block. Did that detail make it into Nora's series? ;D
I enjoyed your vid, but please, please, PLEASE show down when you're moving the camera around! I loved what you were showing, but sometimes I got a little "carsick' trying to follow the video. When you were moving the camera more slowly, it was actually pretty nice. My wife & I have visited Boonsboro, and the bookstore, but not the Inn. We're both big Nora Roberts fans, too!
The shower jets sound amazing, but I don't get the part about not getting your hair wet. Do you just not wear a shower cap when you don't want to wash your hair? I'm a Black woman with natural hair (who wears it straightened) so I never go without mine but I guess I just assumed people who wash their hair more regularly than I do just wear shower caps when they don't want to wash their hair that day.
I just don't like shower caps, so it's purely a lazy move :D ... normally, I just put my hair on top of my head in a bun but it still gets a little bit wet. The shower jets minimized that, so definitely a nice luxury but in no way shape or form a necessity
@bookslikewhoa oh got it! Jets are definitely a necessity, in my opinion, if it allows you to be even lazier 😁 if I could put them into this apartment shower I would! Love the video BTW!
Thank you for posting this video!!! This is on my bucket list...I read the books a while ago, and just need to save up enough money to go!!!
I’m actually from the next town over and I was excited to see that you came to Boonsboro! It’s always fun to see somewhere you’re familiar with through a visitor’s eyes. I hope the area treated you well and that you got to see some great fall leaves.
Are you on the Hagerstown side or somewhere else? I grew up in Hagerstown.
Resident here. She doesn’t own the town 😂😂😂
I love this idea/video! My first reaction was Nora Roberts owns a town? And then... she owns an inn? Very cool :)

I am adding Boonsboro to my bucket list. I loved this video! I hope you make more travel vlogs.
Booktube has come to Maryland a lot this year. I love it.
So cozy!! Thanks for taking us along! 💙💜
truly no one more suitable to patronize all the Nora Robertsian establishments than Mara! that hotel room looks gorgeous!!
I love seeing the actual Inn! Thanks for sharing that with us. The Inn Boonsboro trilogy was really enjoyable for me and it would be a blast to see the inn in person.
Glad you enjoyed it!
That is my favorite room in the inn. My husband proposed to me there.
omg i literally live 10 minutes from Boonsboro. i WISH you could’ve seen my face when i read the title of the video😂
Aww, this is so cool. I also drive down to Boonsboro for a Nora Roberts book signing years ago. It was a very scenic village. Unfortunately, I got so tongue tied when I got to Nora I could barely even say hi!😂

This is so cool! I finished the trilogy last year and was soooo immersed in the imagery of the place. I wish I could also visit the place.
What a cute town.
I also love that bathroom.
I double taked at the title of this video like “Nora Robert’s owns what now??” 😂
Love your vlogs. Looked like so much fun! Also I totally approve of your girl math on the books.
Love this! What a great way to read the Inns Boonsboro books.
I visited the town too and she happened to be signing at Turn The Page!

What a lovely getaway. Congrats to your BF on the wedding!
I grew up just down the road from this!
Nice travel vlog! More! More! Also looked like a nice place for a single on-your-own type of escape.
When you said poorly designed highway I immediately thought Virginia. When my parents come to visit they won't drive if possible because it's always a headache and stress for them
The interstate is ok but yeesh, the side roads are terrible!
@@bookslikewhoa haha come visit me in the lower half and you'll question everything. I live on an unlit two lane road plus to get to the non country VA beach it's two to four highways with construction and questionable drivers
Same! I've driven through the state, the their intersections and ways to get around are crazy!
aw! She bought her husband a bookshop! How cute!
omg I did this too! I was on the last book then visited the Inn. I've been there twice and I was so charmed by the entire town!!
Loved this! Such a cute little town and adorable Inn. You are the reason I gave Nora's books a try and I have been hooked ever since. Would love to go there someday!
Nice to see a travel vlog and also, just when you couldn’t get enough of Nora Roberts, Mara says hello.
Love this! The first of this trilogy is the only Nora Roberts I have ever read, and this reminds me that it was good and I should finish off the trilogy. Glad you and your friend had a fun girls weekend.

The most on brand travel vlog ever.

I love this video! My mom and I have always wanted to go to there! Living and Loving this video!!!
I hope you guys get to go!

Grew up inn the Boonsboro area
The music in this video was its own journey
Always wanted to go there, but I heard some years ago, that it burned doen.. well, I am happy, that's not the case.😊
Anyway, I am jealous of you, but happy for you!!
I ❤ your travel vlogs!
Glad you like them!
That looked like a nice vacation!
This was such a lovely travel vlog! Seems like a nice, relaxing place to stay. I gotta rope a friend into going with me lol
did the library in the inn only have Nora Roberts books or others as well?
I would say this writer is prolific but that would be an understatement (!)
Loved the tour. 👍 I would definitely use that bathtub 🛁
The Inn is a dream 😍
that one black wedding dress...gimme XD
How freakin fun!
I think you might enjoy the Mapp/Lucia series from E.F Benson. It's from the early 1900's but very good.

I love your green dress. Did you make it?
Ive heard good things when it comes to Nora Roberts books. I have one of hers to try out. Its a romance two books stories in one. 📚☕🎃🍂🍁🥧🦃
did you have to book way in advance? or is it pretty available
i don't know why i asked that like boonsboro is a hotspot
my grandma forced me to come here lol

I just put my hair up in a bun on the top of my head and continue with the shower without putting my head under water
