Saw the finished project in the Discord group. Just awesome. Have to see if mine will come out as good. We will see with challenge results if I get it done in time to submit it for the challenge.

so many ideas.... so little time. I'm working on a scarecrow.. using the pool noodle base... and then corpsing it with trash bags. Instead of a pumpkin head, i used a milk jug skull. I have enough materials to make another scarecrow out of pool noodles.... so i may do a different style. I am a big fan of organic looking props. I never liked the cutesy halloween decor. This channel along with others really helps the imagination start to flow.

Thanks for the great video. Made two scarecrows for this year's haunt. The pool noodle you use makes a huge difference (dollar store ones seem to have a smaller inner hole than they used to, so it took some time to get a cord+pvc down the center). One modification I made was to screw the pvc through the pumkin head into a pvc male/female threaded coupling instead of glue, which allows for modifications/changing light bulb if needed. If you have trouble fitting the light bulb, you can take off the plastic "bulb" part and just put the exposed LED components inside. That would work here because the head will be waterproof enough to leave outside.

I was going to make a second scarecrow this year. However, I used spooky fabric for the "clothes" on the first, and green spooky fabric as spanish moss on my lanterns. Didn't want to use it for everything so I needed ideas for the second. I love the fall leaves wreath as dressing, otherwise I was going to try and use hay or cornstalks and I don't think that would have worked as well.
