This cracks me up. I am the first caller interviewed. My ex got the cassette I recorded this on. So glad you posted this. I also saw Roger at Brendan Byrne Arena with Clapton on stage 21 July 1984 and another time later in the tour 29 March 1985 without Clapton. This radio interview was right after seeing him at The Spectrum .
Hey Tom , i saw waters for my first real concert on july 26th 1984 (first leg) . i also listened to and taped this interview . more recently i saw rogers "drill" tour and it also came to town on july 26th , so it was 38 years later - to the date and the show was spectacular . That first concert in 1984 made quite an impression on me to say the least . I just wanted to say that so cool you called in , and where the first caller . Secular music was a big "No No" in my house at the time so i was hiding a lot . She actually found my t-shirt and tour booklet which disappeared . threw a lot of my tapes in the river as well , so i was unable to call but trust me i would have been on the phone the entire time redialing if i could have .
I only heard the last five minutes of this program back when it was first broadcasted on KLOS. Thanks for posting it. 39 years later and I finally got to hear it in its entirety

Great interview. Mudman do you have the entire interview. I am a Waters fan. I listen to rockline all of the time and the shows are 90 minutes. Let me know I would really appreciate it. Thanks - Jon
