This means that each effect is equally likely, and since there's more Series #1 effects, you're more likely to get one of that series.
Since your video on that one crate that had all of the taunts (conga, high five, rps, rancho relaxo) each of their prices went down by half a key. Hopefully this video does the same, as unusuals are expensive as all hell
Hey man, love ur content. Its nicely laid out and easy to understand I wanted to ask since I know very little about trading how do you know what a price of a item is if you cant find any other examples to compare? I unboxed a strange unusual impact impalor (the pyro helmet from the latest winter pack) with the ghost effect but have no idea of its value.
Thanks for watching :D I don't have any secrets to Unusual pricing, I compare just like you've been trying. Strange Unusuals are lower in quantity and harder to price. You'll have to ignore the effect while you find a baseline price. You might have the only one in existance! If you look on the Steam Community Market, the generic listing has buy orders at $30 USD and sell orders at $80 USD. That's a place to start. Looking on Backpack.tf, there's a buy order for a Strange Frosty Flavors Impact Impaler for 34.49 keys and a sell order for a Strange Miami Nights Impact Impaler for $60 USD. You could try and match that range, unless you think your effect is more desirable. You could also look at the non-strange version and add a little on top. Alternatively, you could look at other hats at the same rarity and for the same class. Best of luck, and congrats on the Unusual!
Hey man. Im very old veteran in tf2, played from the very start of it, but later I stopped playing... but I did log in a month ago and I had some crates like: #7, #8, #9, #13, #15, #16, #17, #18, #19, #20 until #25... Should i get some some keys and try to get a cool unusual opening them, or just try to sell them?
so would my best for an unusual be to mass-purchase a ton of munition #85? also are the collection item crates worth putting money into? would i have a higher chance with those kinds of crates
Every crate has the same Unusual chance, so there's no "best" crate or case. Find the effects you like and consider opening crates or cases that contain the effects. You're better off just buying specific Unusuals you want though, rather than trying to randomly open them.

All crates giving a good profit:
Crate #82: Phlog, take or leave it.

I don't think any of those are worth opening. You could double check by looking them up on my site: theletterzed.ca/tf2/crates
