Sly 2 is my favourite game since i played it i played through the game a minimum of 20 times for the past 15 years and i dont regret my time. I love all the Episodes and the series the only one i dont really like is the 4th one but its still good to see sly continuing with the gang after the third game came out. I really really hope that they will bring out a 5th game or a remake of sly 1 or 2 with better design! For all the people who played sly 1-4 you are truly understand what a good game is
I disagree with almost the entire list. Personally episode 7 in sly 2 is one of my favorites. That being said the production quality on this is amazing and you deserve more recognition
looking back, Sly 2 really had the best level design imo, A Tangled Web and He Who Tames The Iron Horse were among my personal favorites. I just finished Sly 4 for the first time, and although some of the levels are great fun including Go West Young Raccoon and Of Mice And Mechs, I really did not like the fact that the story ended on a cliffhanger and all of the loading screen time combined was almost as long as the actual playtime of the game itself
I just wish the rest of the game felt as good. Levels after it felt disappointing in comparison, especially 40 Thieves because I love Arabian setting, but everything in that level felt draining and bland.
Youre right about Mz. Ruby's level. The remastered collection didnt sync the music properly with the game sound. On the original game I could do that boss fight with my eyes closed.
Now I feel better knowing that I wasn't the only one to have been terrified by the scuba levels, especially when Bentley told you to come back in the level or else the sea current would drown you...
still, the black chateau is one of the most memorable for me. the cellar theme or whatever it was, was so good that it basically started my bass playing hobby that has basically ended now but still, loved the whole episode
A Stary Encounter (sly 2, ep 2) is personally my favourite. It introduces the new dance mechanics and has an excellent setting and good music. The tuxedo hunt is great and eventful. The intimacy between Sly and Carmelita is quite amazing and felt needed, especially in such a fancy setting, as we are used to the streets
My personal favorite episode is An Opera of Terror. nearly every mission in the episode is perfect, with the only not so good one being when you deactivate the tar pumps as Murray. The Opera finale, the Venice Disguise mission, the mission where you enter through the cellar of the Opera, the first mission where you break into the Police HQ, the boat chases, and the iconic nickname me and my brother still quote to this day "Mister Tomato Fertilizer". And while Octavio may not be my favorite villain in the Sly Cooper franchise (my favorite being a close tie between Mugshot and Dimitri), he's still very intimidating and a satisfying beat down
For me: Worst: Clan of the Cave Raccoon, but honestly I cannot decide between that and Dead Men Tell No Tales. Clan of the Cave Raccoon does not really invest me throughout the episode and Grizz is my least favorite villain of the series. On the other hand, I get SUPER bored with the sailing section of Dead Men Tell No Tales, to the point where it feels like a chore. Best: Honor Among Thieves, without a doubt. Sure there is no open world to free roam this around, but the story makes up for it. The story of this episode captures me everytime. All of our characters show or begin to show they mature. Just Sly's opening thoughts about Carmelita told me things got REAL here. And Dr. M is easily one of the best villains of the series, with his interesting backstory and overall menacing tone. Though not the best, since the lack of build up for him throughout the game draws him down a little. Finally the ending cutscene and credits gives me chills everytime, with how heartwarming, sad and closing it is.
i understand some of it. but honestly sly 2 and 3. were simply AMAZING. im now currently replaying my favorite trioligy right now with my little brother who is at the same age i was when i was playing it for the first time. and homestly im having a BETTER time now since i have nostalgia by playing the game, and can see trough someone elses eyes play the game for the first time. we just finnished the first game and paris in sly 2 and we have been laughing our way trough the game. and having the time of our life. great start on 2022 in my opinion. but i liked your video. tho. made me apprisiate the game even more :D
I loved "Menace from the North Eh?" I particularly loved the mission where Sly sneaks into a bear cave, the final boss as Bentley (brain triumphs over brawn), and the pretty emotional ending when the heroes lose The Clockwerk parts and the van!
Oh I totally agree with this. I feel that level is a perfect end for Bentley's character development, as he goes from being a panicky and nervous person, to someone willing to stare down a guy twice his size.
29: The Predator Awakes (Trash! Too vertical for its own good) 28: Clan of the Cave Raccoon (A bit that I like, a lot that I don’t) 27: Paris Prologue (The longest intro is boring and doesn’t understand the series) 26: 40 Thieves (The most infamous episode in the series bc belly dance) 25: Cold Heart of Hate (The most uninteresting final level possible) 24: Paris Epilogue (A middle finger to fans! Makes me angry) 23: Rumble Down Under (Overhated, but not the best) 22: Police HQ (An iconic intro, but not an amazing one) 21: Beginning of the End (Instantly hooks the player!) 20: Anatomy for Disaster (A fun but very flawed final level) 19: Vicious Voodoo (Ruined by some bad missions and the boss) 18: Of Mice and Mechs (Would be Top 10 if not for the twist) 17: A Shadow From the Past (Certainly the best intro!) 16: Turning Japanese (The most consistent level in Sly 4 imo) 15: Tide of Terror (I still think the first episode is solid, but overrated) 14: Jailbreak (Truly terrifying! Nice change of pace!) 13: Fire In the Sky (I always love Asian locations in Sly Cooper) 12: Honor Among Thieves (A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy) 11: Opera of Fear (A solid first level with a solid villain and solid missions) 10: A Starry Eyed Encounter (Has some unforgettable moments) 9: Go West Young Raccoon (Who doesn’t love the Wild West?) 8: Dead Men Tell No Tales (Say what you want, I love this one!) 7: A Tangled Web (Feels like the climax of a Tim Burton movie and I love it) 6: Menace from the North, eh! (These Canada levels are fire!) 5: A Cold Alliance (The Panda King carried the whole game tbh) 4: Sunset Snake Eyes (Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!) 3: Flight of Fancy (All the dogfighting is really fun) 2: The Black Chateau (One word: Dimitri! I love Dimitri!) 1: He Who Tames the Iron Horse (The peak of tension in Sly 2)
Missions in both Canada parts are some of the best Sly Cooper offers but I don't like either of their level designs. Specially the first feels so naked as there's not much more than the trains.
@@anonnyymi4617 First is great and all three iron horse missions are some of the series' best. @zach holoein you got it wrong man, worst has been last level of sly 4 then rumble down under. I hate the australia level, legit only one good mission in it being the lemonade contest and bar fight, which is one of the best missions in the series. Pre-historic level from 4 was pretty meh I agree and I think he rated arabia too low, a lot of the mission design in that level were solid and the boss fight was fun imo.
When i looked at the views i assumed this video was posted today and got realy suprised that it was posted multiple weeks ago. Fam im confident you could get big if you started uploading regularly, hope to see more from you. You have made some seriously good quality videos!
I will admit, I did upload a video at the very beginning of the year but because it was part 1 to a two-parter and got barely any views within its first few weeks I Unlisted it in a fit of shame I guess and decided not to go ahead with part 2 (was not what you'd call in the most positive state of mind at the time) However this recent positive feedback has convinced me to bring it back despite part 2's absence.

I must say I'm surprised to see A Tangled Web at #1. I wouldn't say it's my favourite from all the games, but it's definitely one of the best. I always felt it was very underrated.
Great video man, liked and subscribed... Unfortunately I've yet to play the first one but I will. My introduction to Sly was Dimitri's episode in Paris, I'll never forget the awesome visuals and the music, I love it. Also I live near Venice so that episode was very cool to me ahahaha
I personally love A Cold Alliance. General Tsao is a great villain and the epic fight with him in the garden is one of the best boss battles. It also shakes things up with that being mid way through the level. Theres some solid missions, and panda king is pretty dope to play as.
i might put 1 and 2 finales higher but overall i think this list has a point as long as you understand that we are talking about missions and how fun and fitting they are to play as well as other things and of course everyone has their opinions. Keep up the good work buddy :).
My list is: 30. Hazard Room - Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves 29. A Shadow from the Past - Sly 2: Band of Thieves 28. Police Headquarters - Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus 27. Paris Prologue - Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time 26. 40 Thieves - Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time 25. Anatomy for Disaster - Sly 2: Band of Thieves 24. Beginning of the End - Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves 23. Sunset Snakeyes, A Starry eyed Encounter, Flight of Fancy, Jailbreak, A tangled Web, An Opera of Fear, and A Cold Alliance are my favorites in the series.
i want this guy to go into more detail about the penelope twist in 'of mice and mechs' how did make sense for her character at all? her motivation was basically "i want money" but she had all the money she could have ever wanted at the end of sly 3 because sly left them at least a portion of the cooper fortune
I agree with all of this. I've played all the sly cooper games a multitude of times and I think you hit the nail on the head here. I remember being young and being too scared to continue at the voo doo part and then when I was in my teens feeling so much excitement for finally beating it and the whole game on my own. I think the third game was a beautiful ending, and while I do really enjoy the 4th game, I'm sad at where it left off... They left with an obvious cliff hanger and now it seems as though we're never going to have a final conclusion for Sly and the gang which is a total bummer.
Adding to the list of comments saying the same thing, this video was great. Good pacing, good editing, solid sense of humor but not overbearing. Genuinely was surprised to see that it was from a channel with 200 subs and 3k views. Easy channel I have subbed to in a min cannot wait to see you blow up
This video def earned you a sub from me. Amazingly put together and narrated to where a frequent player or someone getting nostalgia form childhood would be able to follow along. Great video man!
Gonna be hunting down a copy of the Collection and Sly 4 to play on my PS3 this Christmas. I cannot wait to play every stage and compare my opinions with yours! Just gonna need to make sure I do it when I am at home alone. The Flight of Fancy Muggshot scene and the Carmelita Bellydancing had me screaming like a goat just from seeing them XD
I really miss these games. I played the first game in the summer of 2002 and I would love to get them all again and play them. There's only so much FPS games one can play before they get burnt out.
God damn, your videos are quality enough that I didn't even realize how little subs you have. You just earned a sub and I can't wait to see what you put out next
It was something I did pick up on and I am a bit ashamed that I just simply forgot to address it. The Sly Cooper world is weird when you take a second to think about.
I guess everyone has their favorite episodes. What stood out for me were from Sly 1 - all of them except the final one, from Sly 2 - the 1st, both Rajan's, both Jean Bison's, from Sly 3, the Black Baron and Dead Men tell no tales. Classic Sly Cooper episodes.
Cold Alliance is just amazing. The map is cool, the villain is deliciously evil and the missions are amazing. I mean you actually get to chase Sly as Carmelita. All the missions felt like I never knew what I was going to get next, yet none of them disappointed. And of course there's the writing.
The Contessa levels are special to me because as a kid I could never beat Rajan's second boss fight so I had to use cheat codes to progress. I skipped over the Contessa levels because they were spooky and for some reason never actually played them until I was 16. Getting to play them for the first time so late was a treasure. I love how different the jailbreak mission was in particular.
Worst episode in each game: Sly 1 - Haiti Sly 2 - Canada part 2 Sly 3 - AUSTRALIA Sly 4 - Ice Age Best episode in each game: Sly 1 - China Sly 2 - Prague part 2 Sly 3 - HOLLAND Sly 4 - Medival England
I love Sunset Snake Eyes, A Starry Eyed Encounter, A Cold Alliance, The Predator Awakes, The Black Chateau, Flight of Fancy, Honor Among Thieves. I've never played the 4th game because the art style is hard to get through after playing Sly 2 for nearly 2 decades.
The vibe of Sir Walter Raleigh’s episode in Sly 1 is just top tier for me, could also be bias cause sly 1 was my first game. Sly 1 art design and world building was just top tier
I came to the comments to see if most people are in agreement and then found out this is a small channel. When this thing blows up, I'll now be able to say I was apart of the first 500. #HipsterStatus
This would have been much better if you divided it into four different videos instead, feels like you sort of skimmed through a whole lot of things that you most definitely have the capability to say. The addition of Sly 4 almost made me turn off the video immediately but I decided to give it a chance. Like I said the video was good overall even if I disagree with a whole lot of your opinions and choices, I can tell you’re a talented UA-camr. Keep making great content!
A Starry Eyed Encounter is my all-time favourite episode and I found Sly 4 didn't quite respect any of their female characters, but I really respect this list! Also, I didn't realise you only had so many followers! Your voice is so easy to listen to, and you're confident in your thoughts and opinions, and that alongside great (and relevant) editing made this an enjoyable piece. You've got a new subscriber, hope you continue!
Praising my voice is probably one of the most heartwarming comments I had said to me because there are times that I feel like my voice must be so aggravating for others listen to.
I always thought that Thieves in Time was poorly written story wise and characterization wise. The plot was so full of holes, that it makes swiss cheese looks like provolone instead, especially with Le Paradox's scheme: One minute it's "Erase the Cooper Family Line", then it's "Rewrite History to Rule the World". Which is it, Sanzaru?! Make up your mind! Also, having Carmelita act like a complete petty and bitter bitch, Sly degrading Carm, Murray acting mopey just cuz he can't climb a mountain, Bentley beating up his girlfriend and Penelope suddenly siding with the dark side because "My boyfriend's being used by his best friend and we can make weapons for money!" is just plain stupid if you ask me, especially the last part. Penelope's character was very well written in Sly 3 and she and Bentley made a cute couple! Sanzaru suddenly ignoring this completely and making her a villain instead of being original and coming up with a better villain for the Medieval Era level....It makes the stories in Ian Flynn's Sonic comics more understandable than this trashy writing. And unlike TiT, the endings in the Sly Trilogy didn't leave us with a severe cliffhanger. And again, the plot was all over the place! Not only that, but the fact that Sanzaru choose NOT to finish what they started....Yeah....Need I say more? I think Sucker Punch should take a cue from the writers of the upcoming Crash Bandicoot 4 game and create a new Sly 4 game, not only ignoring the Thieves in Time storyline altogether with new and better story plots, but one that features the return of the Cooper Gang from Sly 3 and have Carmelita involve with the gang in the missions. Honestly, I think just ignoring the TiT game is better off. If it's not going to be finished any time soon, it might as well not have been started in the first place. I WILL say that the only things I loved in TiT were gameplay, graphics, new attacks and Carmelita being more playable than how she was playable in Sly 3.
I also found on Mz. Rubies boss fight that not only is the music not synced well - but the input on the controller is also lacking. I found multiple times I would hit triangle or square and it was almost unresponsive and I would get hit. It was quite frustrating. Especially considering when you die you don't start at the beginning of the section but at the first of the three sections.
Best episode to date is most certainly the black chateau from Sly 2. Perfect way to introduce a new game AND its characters mechanics! And the final operation just showed perfectly how teamwork played out!
My favourite episodes are definitely episode 4 and 5 of the 2nd game, I'm not sure why, I've recently played the game again and they're still my favourite, it's the two contessa episodes
Because she's an awesome villain and the atmosphere is haunting in a perfect way 👌 to me 4th episode was great and 5th episode was the best in the series
Nice video! The episodes for me that should be higher on the list: - Dead men tell no tales - A cold alliance (Mostly because of the story told in this episode, and the amazing fight(s) against the boss of the episode) - Flight of Fancy (Might be a bit biased since im from the Netherlands, but this episode is 100% a top 3 episode for me, the missions are awesome, mugshot being in the world is awesome, love the mission where you have to call him out with Bentley) Episodes that should be lower imo: - Go west Young Raccoon - Both of the Rajan worlds - Of mice and mechs - He who tames the iron horse - First world from Sly 1 (forgot the name), the boss fight was absolutely TERRIBLE - A tangled Web

Awesome video. Here are my thoughts. I actually liked 40 thieves. I like Salim, his magic carpet glider, the colors of the environment, how gorgeous the water it, etc. Menace of the North Eh would be much higher on my list. I didn't like Rumble Down Under's location, but there were ok missions like u said. The mask boss felt pointless. Clan of the cave raccoon would also be lower for me. The environment just felt too convoluted for me. Hard to explain. I agree with you on Jailbreak. The only reason Jailbreak stands out to me because of Bentley's character development. Black Chateau is so iconic because of the music, the location, and Dimitri. Sly and Paris go so well together, which is why I was annoyed that Thieves in Time only teased us with Paris and didn't give us a full Paris episode. I agree with you 100% on Go West Young Raccoon. I honestly just loved the structure of Sly 2's episodes. By that I mean, the end didn't always give you a boss fight. Sometimes, the boss runs off to another episode. I really liked that. When I first played the game, it was a pleasant deviation from typical games. I agree with you on the Penelope twist. Flight of the fancy was my favorite of sly 3. I would rank opera of fear lower honestly. I also love Tangled Web too. It's in my top 5
I'm super happy that I'm not the only one who thinks A Tangled Web is the best episode in the series. The gothic look, creepy vibes, the verticality. The only thing I legit don't like in this Episode is when you have to control the tank. But thankfully that's only twice in the whole episode. This Episode is just perfect. Especially for someone like me with a gothic, ominous taste.
Honestly really great list and I agree with a lot of the picks. I think Jailbreak should be higher but I understand your reasoning for it. What are your guys' top fives? For me, It'll be A Tangled Web, He Who Tames the Iron Horse, An opera of fear, A starry Eyed encounter, and Jailbreak. With runner up being Holland, Chateau (Dimitri level) and Of Mice and Mechs.
Wow, I have radically different opinions about this, but this video is really well thought out and well put together, and I don't really want to start an argument. I will say good job, though 👏

Sly 4 has by far the best hub worlds imo, they are very pretty to look at and are just fun to explore and find everything
Youre right about Mz. Ruby's level. The remastered collection didnt sync the music properly with the game sound. On the original game I could do that boss fight with my eyes closed.
Try doing it with a broken triangle button. Literally RNG whether my input actually worked lol. Took me like 2 hours because of the end part.

Yeah the music and map were great, sadly the missions were too easy because it's kinda the tutorial of the game
I enjoyed that also but damn I loved blowing the bridge
My personal favorite episode is An Opera of Terror. nearly every mission in the episode is perfect, with the only not so good one being when you deactivate the tar pumps as Murray. The Opera finale, the Venice Disguise mission, the mission where you enter through the cellar of the Opera, the first mission where you break into the Police HQ, the boat chases, and the iconic nickname me and my brother still quote to this day "Mister Tomato Fertilizer". And while Octavio may not be my favorite villain in the Sly Cooper franchise (my favorite being a close tie between Mugshot and Dimitri), he's still very intimidating and a satisfying beat down
Also the massively iconic line "THAT DOES IT, I'LL FLOSS MY TEETH WITH YOUR SPINE! THE MURRAY RETURNS!"
My favorite mission/episode is the pirate one from Sly 3 simply because of the ship battles. That’s all I did when I was younger
Dead man tell no tells that was my favorite too
For me:
Worst: Clan of the Cave Raccoon, but honestly I cannot decide between that and Dead Men Tell No Tales.
I felt like Honor Among Thieves was the hardest end game level in the series, too
*Carmelita as a belly dancer*
"Possibly your best plan ever Bently." - Sly
i understand some of it. but honestly sly 2 and 3. were simply AMAZING. im now currently replaying my favorite trioligy right now with my little brother who is at the same age i was when i was playing it for the first time. and homestly im having a BETTER time now since i have nostalgia by playing the game, and can see trough someone elses eyes play the game for the first time.
we just finnished the first game and paris in sly 2 and we have been laughing our way trough the game. and having the time of our life.
great start on 2022 in my opinion. but i liked your video. tho. made me apprisiate the game even more
:D
I loved "Menace from the North Eh?"
I particularly loved the mission where Sly sneaks into a bear cave, the final boss as Bentley (brain triumphs over brawn), and the pretty emotional ending when the heroes lose The Clockwerk parts and the van!
Oh I totally agree with this. I feel that level is a perfect end for Bentley's character development, as he goes from being a panicky and nervous person, to someone willing to stare down a guy twice his size.
29: The Predator Awakes (Trash! Too vertical for its own good)
28: Clan of the Cave Raccoon (A bit that I like, a lot that I don’t)
27: Paris Prologue (The longest intro is boring and doesn’t understand the series)
26: 40 Thieves (The most infamous episode in the series bc belly dance)
25: Cold Heart of Hate (The most uninteresting final level possible)
24: Paris Epilogue (A middle finger to fans! Makes me angry)
23: Rumble Down Under (Overhated, but not the best)
22: Police HQ (An iconic intro, but not an amazing one)
21: Beginning of the End (Instantly hooks the player!)
20: Anatomy for Disaster (A fun but very flawed final level)
19: Vicious Voodoo (Ruined by some bad missions and the boss)
18: Of Mice and Mechs (Would be Top 10 if not for the twist)
17: A Shadow From the Past (Certainly the best intro!)
16: Turning Japanese (The most consistent level in Sly 4 imo)
15: Tide of Terror (I still think the first episode is solid, but overrated)
14: Jailbreak (Truly terrifying! Nice change of pace!)
13: Fire In the Sky (I always love Asian locations in Sly Cooper)
12: Honor Among Thieves (A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy)
11: Opera of Fear (A solid first level with a solid villain and solid missions)
10: A Starry Eyed Encounter (Has some unforgettable moments)
9: Go West Young Raccoon (Who doesn’t love the Wild West?)
8: Dead Men Tell No Tales (Say what you want, I love this one!)
7: A Tangled Web (Feels like the climax of a Tim Burton movie and I love it)
6: Menace from the North, eh! (These Canada levels are fire!)
5: A Cold Alliance (The Panda King carried the whole game tbh)
4: Sunset Snake Eyes (Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!)
3: Flight of Fancy (All the dogfighting is really fun)
2: The Black Chateau (One word: Dimitri! I love Dimitri!)
1: He Who Tames the Iron Horse (The peak of tension in Sly 2)
9:33 No, no, you had it right when you said father. To my knowledge Sly's mother is unmentioned in the entire series.
The prehistoric world should have been the worst.. and you didn’t like Canada?! Guess we have different taste
Second part Canada is quite slow and drab in colour. Great great finale though
Canada is one of my favorites. The music gives me such nostalgic vibes
Missions in both Canada parts are some of the best Sly Cooper offers but I don't like either of their level designs. Specially the first feels so naked as there's not much more than the trains.
I loved the prehistoric world and Canada
@@anonnyymi4617 First is great and all three iron horse missions are some of the series' best. @zach holoein you got it wrong man, worst has been last level of sly 4 then rumble down under. I hate the australia level, legit only one good mission in it being the lemonade contest and bar fight, which is one of the best missions in the series. Pre-historic level from 4 was pretty meh I agree and I think he rated arabia too low, a lot of the mission design in that level were solid and the boss fight was fun imo.
When i looked at the views i
assumed this video was posted today and got realy suprised that it was posted multiple weeks ago.
@@hotcoss Im happy to hear that!
Hopefully you will get some well deserved recognition soon. :)
16:34 “Hey, did you ever wanna see the sequel to The Nightmare Before Christmas where the humans take revenge on Halloween Town?” Dude you had me in STITCHES😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I LOVED THAT😂🤣 Thank you so much for your review. It’s nice to see what other people thought of the series as I loved it as a kid. Hope you keep posting!😃 Stay safe😁
I must say I'm surprised to see A Tangled Web at #1. I wouldn't say it's my favourite from all the games, but it's definitely one of the best. I always felt it was very underrated.
That and the prison break are my favorite. What can I say. I was an edgy goth kid
Theres some solid missions, and panda king is pretty dope to play as.
what a great video, it was really interesting seeing someone else's thoughts on the Sly franchise since the community is so small. Keep up the work!
i might put 1 and 2 finales higher but overall i think this list has a point as long as you understand that we are talking about missions and how fun and fitting they are to play as well as other things and of course everyone has their opinions. Keep up the good work buddy :).
And btw not making sly 5 even when leaving 4 on a cliffhanger should be illegal. Sanzaru what have you done to me!
I really enjoyed the video! Sly Cooper is one of my favorite game series and it sucks that its so forgotten

Honor among thieves should be in first place that's the best final ever in my opinion
Adding to the list of comments saying the same thing, this video was great. Good pacing, good editing, solid sense of humor but not overbearing. Genuinely was surprised to see that it was from a channel with 200 subs and 3k views. Easy channel I have subbed to in a min cannot wait to see you blow up
This Chanel deserves way more attention, great video my guy
This video def earned you a sub from me. Amazingly put together and narrated to where a frequent player or someone getting nostalgia form childhood would be able to follow along. Great video man!
Got my sub, keep grinding man extremely well put together vid
Your videos have more quality than most channels that have thousands of subscribers
Jon Bison and his levels are easily in my top 5 😭😭😭
The sailing Mechanics made that level my favorite in sly 3
Sly 2 ep. 6 will always be my favorite
God damn, your videos are quality enough that I didn't even realize how little subs you have. You just earned a sub and I can't wait to see what you put out next
Murray feeding the Crocodile miners was dark?
ls no one going to talk about Murray wearing a Moose head in ''Menace From The North Eh''
It was something I did pick up on and I am a bit ashamed that I just simply forgot to address it. The Sly Cooper world is weird when you take a second to think about.
Not the whole "cross dressing Murray having sex with El Jefe?"
I’m glad I’m not the only one who found the twist in the medieval level to be low-key clever. It’s upsetting...but it makes sense.
Honestly I love the sailing sections. I just really like it.
holland, venice, prague, theres so many episodes i love i cant even sort em lol
Cold Alliance is just amazing. The map is cool, the villain is deliciously evil and the missions are amazing. I mean you actually get to chase Sly as Carmelita. All the missions felt like I never knew what I was going to get next, yet none of them disappointed. And of course there's the writing.
I’m always happy to see Sly Cooper fans make quality videos.
Keep up the amazing work! Would love to see a video about your personal favorite missions in the Sly series as well!
Best: The Black Chateau
Worst: Any of Contessa’s episodes
DJ Enigma i kinda liked the first contessa episode. was cool having to play as bentley; working hard to get sly and murray out of jail
I love The Contessa episodes. They are undoubtingly my favorites in the second game for the gothic theme and challenging missions.
Gotta say pretty good list! But the Paris level in sly 2 is number 1 for me. The awesome nighttime setting and that nostalgic background music
Man, great video, far from my list, but honestly it would be hard to compare a lot of these, Sly's good all around.
Worst episode in each game:
Sly 1 - Haiti
Sly 2 - Canada part 2
Sly 3 - AUSTRALIA
Sly 4 - Ice Age
Best episode in each game:
Sly 1 - China
Sly 2 - Prague part 2
Sly 3 - HOLLAND
Sly 4 - Medival England
Im dutch and i love how incredible stereotypical holland is its so good😂😂
Was very surprised to see the #1 you chose! Glad this came up in my recommended. You gained a sub and like from me :)
Great vid dude. You definitely have the potential to be a big channel
Nice job you need more subs and views👍
I came to the comments to see if most people are in agreement and then found out this is a small channel. When this thing blows up, I'll now be able to say I was apart of the first 500. #HipsterStatus
This would have been much better if you divided it into four different videos instead, feels like you sort of skimmed through a whole lot of things that you most definitely have the capability to say.
The addition of Sly 4 almost made me turn off the video immediately but I decided to give it a chance. Like I said the video was good overall even if I disagree with a whole lot of your opinions and choices, I can tell you’re a talented UA-camr. Keep making great content!
iAbuze Sly 4 was just as good as the rest. Never mind anything other than characters and story - I was happy
I'm glad you made the right choice for your number 1 pick.
An amazing work my bro
Especially considering when you die you don't start at the beginning of the section but at the first of the three sections.
sly 2 is definitely the best game with the best episodes.
Ohh man the nostalgia. I can’t think of the names but the black baron mission and that Canadian moose mission were my fav lol
Best episode to date is most certainly the black chateau from Sly 2. Perfect way to introduce a new game AND its characters mechanics! And the final operation just showed perfectly how teamwork played out!
warms my heart to read the comment section
This brings back so much nostalgia!
He who tames the iron horse was always my favourite, probably followed by Venice and Holland from sly 3.
Me: sees Sunset snake eyes is number 16
Also Me: I FEEL TRANSGRESED AND VIOLATED!
1000th sub keep up the great work
Plan to, my friend :D
Quality content my man!
Nice video!
The episodes for me that should be higher on the list:
- Dead men tell no tales
- A cold alliance (Mostly because of the story told in this episode, and the amazing fight(s) against the boss of the episode)
- Flight of Fancy (Might be a bit biased since im from the Netherlands, but this episode is 100% a top 3 episode for me, the missions are awesome, mugshot being in the world is awesome, love the mission where you have to call him out with Bentley)
Episodes that should be lower imo:
- Go west Young Raccoon
- Both of the Rajan worlds
- Of mice and mechs
- He who tames the iron horse
- First world from Sly 1 (forgot the name), the boss fight was absolutely TERRIBLE
- A tangled Web
I know that nobody asked but I love Sly soooo, here is my worst to best Sly Episodes
25:Paris Prologue (Sly 4)
24:The Cold Heart Of Hate (Sly 1)
23:Dead Men Tell No Tales (Sly 3)
22:Go West Young Raccoon (Sly 4)
21:Tide of Terror (Sly 1)
20:Forty Thieves (Sly 4)
19:A Tangled Web (Sly 2)
18:Rumble Down Under (Sly 3)
17:Clan of the Cave Raccoon (Sly 4)
16:Vicious Voodoo (Sly 1)
15:Anatomy of Disaster (Sly 2)
14:A Cold Alliance (Sly 3)
13:Jailbreak (Sly 2)
12:Sunset Snake Eyes (Sly 1)
11:Honor Among Thieves (Sly 3)
10:Fire in the Sky (Sly 1)
9:Of Mice and Mechs (Sly 4)
8:Menace from the North,Eh? (Sly 2)
7:A Starry Eyed Encounter (Sly 2)
6:Turning Japanese (Sly 4)
5:Flight of Fancy (Sly 3)
4:The Predator Awakes (Sly 2)
3:An Opera of Fear (Sly 3)
2:The Black Chateau (Sly 2)
1:He Who Tames The Iron Horse (Sly 2)
I'm sorry if I offended you by putting one of your favorites as a bad episode but this is my opinion
Bro you are insane. good work
I'm super happy that I'm not the only one who thinks A Tangled Web is the best episode in the series. The gothic look, creepy vibes, the verticality. The only thing I legit don't like in this Episode is when you have to control the tank. But thankfully that's only twice in the whole episode. This Episode is just perfect. Especially for someone like me with a gothic, ominous taste.
You're nuts...The Mz.Ruby bit was the peak of 1 and the Canadian bit with the trains was the peak of 2!
So what your saying is you don't want these games to have let downs and have much more interesting plots and much more story to it all
5:57 I played a sly 3 demo and this was the mission, before buying it I assumed the mask was gonna be the main antagonist
I liked the cihna map in the sly 3 the most i get chills even when i think about it :D
Hated tangled web, was the only map in ALL the game where i just couldnt find the last few clues.
Wow, I have radically different opinions about this, but this video is really well thought out and well put together, and I don't really want to start an argument. I will say good job, though 👏
10:18 I know what you mean. I still have memories of playing Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
yo, great work man.
Okay .... I agree with most of this expect toothpick is more crazy than kiddy
How do you only have 100 subs??
I never played the 1st game so i didnt realize who mugshot was during my playthrough of sly 3 the 1st time
