As a kid, I've played through this game multiple times and it was really scary and weird for me. I remember this mechanic that when you play through Hero Mode a few times and get to hero mode playthrough 5+, reaaaaly weird shit starts to happen. Quest markers dissappear, so you have to go through the game by memory, the order of the missions changes and the story starts getting so convoluted and creepy bc of that, late game missions being available and mandatory even in the early game. I was so small I thought it was a scary glitch I didn't know what was going on. I've been browsing the net to check if it wasn't my childish fever dream or something, but I didn't find anything. The farthest I've got in this game was i believe hero mode 8-9, but it was impossible to beat at this point. The section where Daxter needs to disarm the rockets also gets tougher wish each playthrough, so by hero mode 8-9 I just couldn't get through it.

You can take out the Snivelak boss in 5 minutes with the Zodiac, RYNO II, and Heavy Bouncer in NG+

Chihiro's gender IS clear. He wanted to tell everyone, which is what caused Mondo to accidentally lash out. Alter Ego, created by Chihiro, also refers to him as "he" and "father". Why would he make an AI that misgenders him? Nanami also refers to him as father. Chihiro is a crossdresser who didn't want to be bullied for being weak anymore. Calling him "her" is the opposite of his final wish.

Himiko, Toko, and Fuyuhiko in the top 10? Complete disagreement. Miu and Chiaki, far, far too low and need to be in the top 10.

I know I’m four years late, but the second I saw Hajime, Shuichi, and Kokichi that low, I knew this was an inaccurate list

Colossus remains one of the most memorable levels for a good reason, and then immediately a bad reason of the go's awful ice hockey minigame

My Top 10: 10- High Caves. I loved how open it was, with a lot of Supercharge exploration and dealing with the almost invincible spiders. 9- Haunted Tomb. Mostly the side missions felt very cool, and also the snake slide, while short, was quite fun. 8- Seashell Shore. The metal shark battle, the Sheila fort, the clean-up pipe, it had incredible minigames. Probably the best water-based level in the trilogy. 7- Haunted Towers. Those armored dudes were intimidating as hell, and it had an amazing supercharge hidden section that felt extremely rewarding to do. 6- Icy Peak. It was gorgeous to watch, with fair ice mechanics, good hidden gem stuff breaking the ice, and with the best escorting mission with the dancer and a neat supercharge area to chase the speeders. 5- Metropolis. It had a great futuristic setting, an awesome double power-up and a lot of challenging stuff to do, a great last-normal level experience. 4- Skelos Badlands. The dinosaur missions were absolute gold, and we have the dancing skeleton as well, pair that with some well balanced enemies and you have a wondrous level. 3- Fracture Hills. It's an awesome level that grants hard challenges, paired up with some cool enemies and neat atmosphere. 2- Enchanted Towers. This level really grew on me, it has an amazing atmosphere, a lot of exploration to do, even plot-wise it felt nice, and having the so-called secret animal section be to just swap and use Byrd really felt gorgeous. Not to mention, the skate park here is impressive. 1- Tree Tops. I think it's the definitive Spyro 1 experience, with a lot of decision-making right from the get go, branching paths, hard and rewarding supercharge and awesome environment.

I definitely think you're in the minority for forgetting the Obani moons, the concept of having a planet so small that you can explore it in its entirety has always been so cool to me.

I think she was realy just a plot device in the first 2 chapters (even though she's just a nurse, not even graduated, so she shouldn't be able to practice an autopsy, but it's danganronpa it's over the top land so let's just let that one slide) with some horrible visual jokes (as a dyspraxic, seeing coordination disorder use for that kind of malegaze humour is realy disturbing), and even though she had trauma, guess what, it's precisely the promotion where everyone is here because of a trauma, and Mikan is showing no sign of overcoming it, she even go back in profond despair at the end of chapter 3 wich mean she have no attempt of character grow contrary to hiyoko. She doesn't even kill hiyoko because of her trauma, which would have shown what despair can make to someone if it's push too far, making a realy interesting comment on bullying, but no she just kill her because she's there... She's IMO the worst character in danganronpa 2 by far and tied for worst character in the entier franchise with hifumi. The fact that you rank her above hiyoko, I disagree but it's understandable, I can see that happening. The fact that you rank her above Ibuki, I strongly disagree, for me Ibuki is an entertaining side character with good vibe and good humour (unlike someone), but I get it she was a sideline character, it's a little bit like Teruteru (even though teruteru have more cringe moment), so I give it a pass. For kazuichi, I guess he's the least developped among the survivors so it's kinda possible to explain even though, once again, I realy don't agree at all. Above Mahiru and Peko, it's borderline impossible to see a singular argument justifying this, especialy with that big of a gap. But Chiaki ? Litteraly the kirigiri of the story with an actual attaching personality, funny in her expression of her emotions and who litteraly save the day by slapping hajime out of his despair while being dead ? The characters who's first death is the litteral reason of how the class became the ultimates despairs ? How is that even possible to say that a plot device with horrible physical humour, trauma she doesn't even try to overcome and a missed opportunity considering the victims of her murder, is better than the most well developped character it danganronpa 2 beside nagito and hajime (she's still a little better developped than Gundham IMO) ? TL:DR, for me your Mikan ranking make absolutely no sense at all, especialy compared to Peko, Mahiru and especialy Chiaki, but opinions are valids and it's a nice video otherwise.

I only agree with tge Hiyoko and Hifumi placements

The Obani Moons are one of my favorites, the music there is one of my favorite songs on the soundtrack, and I love planetoid levels. I especially love that you can glitch out and charge boot from the asteroid belt around Gemeni, all the way to Pollux. You can even land on Draco if you aim properly.

I had a funny moment once when I felt like messing around with 3 for some reason after not touching it for years. I didn't think I was gonna go for a full playthrough, just load an old save and blow stuff up for a while. Reversed that decision pretty quick when I saw every save was on holostar studios 😅 I wonder why that was...
