St. Arethas( Al Harith ) of Najran( present day part of KSA ) was an arab Christian and a tribal chief martyred( head cut off) in Najran in exchange of the lives of his tribe, as they were Christians. St. Arethas is revered both in Catholic and Orthodox Christianity. Praying that a Parish erected in honor of St. Arethas as his martyrdom was long forgotten in his land.
