Im a vocal teacher, the mom sounds very nasally and the daughter was so nervous her voice was shaky. I do commend them for auditioning but The golden buzzer was just emotions in my opinion. It was a good story though they made me tear up ❤

9:21PM AZ Time. Sorry, in, this one instance of "I heard this adnausiem Sob story one too many times. (I am a Survivor Myself😊) Resulted IMHO, being given a rather Faux Pas, Golden Buzzer i.e., "B-day" Gift. The brief 2'02" of repetitive, vocals & lyrics was Worthy of Yeses! But as I witnessed it, not up to the usual "Golden" caliber Buzzer performances featured on this show. Proud of the daughter. And Best Wishes to Mom for a full recovery. Godspeed.

Amen. Yes, they sing beautifully, but it was clearly the cancer story that got them the huge applause and golden buzzer. I just wish they would hold off on asking questions about the performers' personal lives until after. That way we get to see the talent for what it really is. Saying "Yes" to these ladies to move on in the competition would have been sufficient.

Good voices to sing at church or in a choir, but not compared to the talent of others on this show.
I'm sorry but why use some sad story for audition? it's okay for back story tho, but you shouldn't telling your sad story on the audition in front of the judges for sympathy, If you are talented surely you don't have to sell your sad story, I remember watching Angelica Hale, AGT 2017 she's going so much at the young age of 9 but she never mention anything about her sickness in front of the judges, she even received one kidney from her mom but she never mentioned anything of it to the judges she let her voice and talents speaks volume.. Should have been the rules no sad story on got talents..

To all the people who say no, not good enough, how many professional singer's have been told no, but are selling top 10 albums by the millions? Christina Aguilera lost her talent competition, yet she became famous! Kellie Pickler was voted out on Idol yet she became famous. Remember 1 thing, people have nervous issues in their first auditions and may not sound their best. Even the pros have bad days singing!

You people should be a shame for ever saying anything about cancer victims, until you go through what they gone through, you should not say anything, and Im trying to say this nicely, without get pissed off and getting kicked off UA-cam , my friend died from cancer and what really fck up he didn't even know he had it, they give him 6 months to live, but he passed away two weeks later, from stage 4 cancer,

It is a very emotional audition.
Their voices were just not good enough imo. It wasn't good enough for a golden buzzer. There are other people who sing much better and all they get are 4 yeses if they are lucky.

Going through the trauma of cancer for mother and daughter is very sad.
2 of my family members died from cancer so I know how terrible it is.
I wish them both lots of health, happiness and a long life. 🤗💕
