I saw an interview with Tony Hawk and he talked about how big of an influence Back to the Future was for skateboarding because it was pretty much the first movie to put skateboarding in film. So that’s definitely not a coincidence he’s a big fan of back to the future.
I only really played THUG 2 in the past so I've always had fond memories of it, and I'd love to see it remade. But apparently the opinions on the internet are quite polarizing when it comes to it. I do love Jackass so maybe that's why those parts never bothered me much.
i hope they remake 3 & 4, along with underground 1 & 2. all of them had amazing special characters: Darth Maul, Jango Fett, Shrek, a CoD Soldier, and Wolverine just to name a few.
Lets think about it realistically, licensing for all of those characters cost money and alot of those characters are licensed for other games and/or cinemtaic companies as we speak. I dont see us THPS fans getting what we want in that aspect.
Polaris Castillo the location I remember is the New York level on THPS1. There’s a Pura when you start the level and you turn around it’s on like a big piece of rubble. And on that same level there’s a big one: it’s a painting of N. Cortex (the post apocalyptic costume). It’s the same picture that you unlock for one of the Carts in CTR:NF. There’s more but I don’t remember/know then all, I only stumbled on a couple of them.

Can't say the same on the unnecessary remakes for Aladdin and The Lion King (though the rereleases of the video games based on the animated originals was a good trade) and the already released Communist Chinese propaganda film made with the suffering of the poor Muslim Uighurs and the Hong Kong activists!

The level Skater Heaven has a secret area in the volcano. in it is the ramp from the end of The Search For Animal Chin, there is a big banner with "Animal Chin". Its a reference to the Bones Brigade skate move that had Tony Hawk and Save Caballero in it.

American wasteland is trash compared to Underground and Underground 2. You can keep the charm and personality and I'll take the better games.
I love American Wasteland, but I would argue that game would be almost dead last to be remade.
