OYRTMA Celebrates Oyo PMS Boss On His Birthday, And Commend Him For Peaceful Reign.

The General Manager of Oyo State Traffic Management Authority, Mr Adeoye Ayoade, lauded the sterling leadership qualities of Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa, especially in the area of enforcement of discipline among officials of PMS.
He, however, urged the management of PMS to
caution taxi drivers, tricycle, and motorcycle
operators against picking or dropping off passengers at non-designated parks, overloading, and illegal parking.
The general manager noted that the core
mandate of OYRTMA, which is traffic management
will not be abolished to please individuals violate
traffic rules and regulations Adeoye, however, sounded a note of warning to men and officers of OYRTMA who are caught in collecting bribes from traffic violators, adding that such officers will not only be dismissed but
handed over to law enforcement agents for
prosecution.
The general manager used the occasion to
sensitise motorists about the EMBER MONTHS
activities , advising them to always obey and
observe traffic rules and regulations regularly
Reacting, the Chairman of Oyo State Park
Management System, Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa
Omolewa appreciated the leading role OYRTMA
has been playing its role in the aspect of traffic
management.
Tommy said the Park Management System under his leadership does not have a sacred cow
stressing that he will not condone any act of
indiscipline and lawlessness from any drivers or PMS officials
"I believe we are dragging our feet in certain
critical areas, we always engage our people on
their code of conduct regularly, we need a cultural it tlial lakes place
change to reduce the lawlessness that takes
on our roads.
"We must all comply and conform with the
ongoing Sustainable Development Agenda of our principal and leader, Governor Seyi Makinde.
" If any member of PMS is caught in any unlawful
act, arrest such a person, and let such an individual
be prosecuted."
Delivering his welcome address, Alhaji Kasali
Lawal Ajisafe, the State Secretary of PMS, said
members of the public have been commending
the new leadership of PMS under Alhaji Wasiu
Tomiwa Omolewa with his peace initiative, which is devoid of violence, brigandage, and thuggery in various parks.
The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of birthday cake by the management of OYRTMA led by Mr Adeoye Ayoade to Alhaji Tomiwa Omolewa was in celebration of his birthday, which was
celebrated last Saturday.
The meeting was attended by members of the State Excos of Park Managers, Zonal, and branch chairmen across the state
