When this was released by the Shadows, it just blew me away - it still brings tears to my eyes at 76. We will never see the like of musicians such as the wonderful Jet Harris again. Yes, he had his demons, but it never affected his talent as a musician. It’s just all wonderful happy memories.
Great to see this and especially to see Jet. What great memories I have of JetTony, Hank And Bruce. Always in our memories and thankfully on recordings. You were magicians to a generations - great magic and never forgotten. Mike Hadley
This was always my favourite Shadows tune, still played wonderfully today 55 odd years later, takes me back to my young teens 😊 like loads of girls, I was in love with Jet Harris 😍
So sad to know Jet died alone, penniless and alcoholic. His cats had consumed most of him hen he was eventually found. The Sun should never printed the photographs

What a blast! Jet couldn't have picked a better group to play with! And believe me, WL is not as easy to do well live as it might seem. I loved it. Thanks for the memories, Jet.
Saw Jet and Tony top of the bill at The Winter Gdns Margate (my home town) at the beginning of June 1963 at the height of their career together as a duo. Can say by a country mile the best live performance of that era I ever saw (I was 13 years old) Like a lot of these theatres loads of the Stars of that era performed there, I was lucky my Mum took me to see them all. A few weeks later another Group climbing the fame ladder appeared (for a weeks stint) The Beatles, support act Billy J Kramer and The Dakotas, a brilliant show, Beatlemania was in full swing. But for me this did not come nearJet and Tonys performance, the pair of them having time for everyone later after the show..As with the Beatles when it was logisticaly possible owing to the almost mass hysteria. Great Times......Will never be seen again.

@@bobyates4115 OH, didn't know. He sounded damm good here. Very nice tone. This is an awesome tune. Shadows certainly recorded live and on vids. Perhaps one of their greatest tunes ever. Next to Apache still number 1.

Where was the orchestra? Jet Harris was the base player for The Shadows. Here we have two base guitarists. Why? The true lead guitarist here is the man on the extreme right of the screen. Jet seems to play the base. Why they would need two base guitarists is beyond me.
