Jet Harris is a really admirable bass player. When I was a teenager I spent hours listening to his Nivram. The most interesting bass guitar piece to play. The same with Kontiki.
I bought Kontiki in 1961. ,remember it has a strong bass line. Here, th lead guitarist aint right ,: too low vol , inaccurat, distracting audienc noise😮 Th flip side was 36. 24. 36 -- composed for a bass player😊
oh yes, I went to one of his gigs and he started playing Diamonds halfway through he broke one of his strings he stopped and the pre-recorded tune just played on, oh dear caught out. he was not playing it, sad really. I am not saying he cant play but sometimes a little trickery comes into play.

What can i say, Nivram, Stingray, Kon-Tiki and many others, his bas-line was excelent

Jet was the first to play an electronic bass in England. When he left the Shadows they never had as a magnificent bass player. Hats off for Jet. RIP
