just a couple of notes i wanted to add in a pinned comment after reading some of your critiques
- Towards the end of the video I claim that we "don't have to" meet people where they're at by playing Sneako's game, and I think a better framing for that is; I'm not going to tell you what to do, but if we are going to try winning over his viewers by publicly emasculating him (as we saw on twitter) we *must* also be challenging those structures. If we don't, then the collective effect is that we are tacitly upholding them. Like, dunking on him by posting a photo of him wearing feminine clothing, is just validating the perspective that there's something wrong w that. Which is bad imo
- The German song Erika might not be a "Nazi song", as it is still used as a marching song by the German military today, but it *was* composed and reached the height of its popularity during WW2. Sneako was also dancing to it right after Ye expressed support for Hitler lol so in this case it is functionally a Nazi song. It is dogwhistling adoration for WW2 era Germany
- Some have expressed that they feel the clip of Hamza was taken out of context, that he's using the race as a metaphor to "motivate" young men, not because he actually believes it. That's not true lol. He 100% believes it, and he says as much in the full video ("Stop letting other men pipe your wife"). He does understand how insane that sounds, though, so he dresses it up as the "disgusting truth that no one else is willing to tell you." Hamza's content is mostly fine from what I've seen but that video is extremely weird. It doesn't matter if him and Sneako have beef, either. The take is indicative of how a lot of these guys think
I get that first point for sure but I guess the point a lot of people were making was about how hypocritical Sneako was when upholding those guidelines to be a real man while he himself doesn't follow them, like there's nothing wrong with it but then he shouldn't be obnoxious about it.
I definitely see where you're coming from on the 1st point, I think that stuff like proving where he's wrong or lying (like that critikal or others aren't 'soy boys' by their definition) can be a good starting point to deconstruct their narrative. Like if he can't even dismiss their claims without being wrong even in his own narrative and it's shown that might help people question his narrative
@@happyshanghao I feel it's good to point out that in early anti sjw narratives it was often popular to paint the feminist women as incredibly undesirable much like people try to do with the ''soy boys"'. Here's the thing, how did people bury this argument? Well they didn't and couldn't. Despite how many lgbt+ models exist, despite how NOT undesirable they may be, it never really stopped that narrative, it persists today.
I think ultimately the idea of dunking on Sneako the way people have been - as Noah says - just reinforces these frameworks as ideals to uphold. It doesn't actually challenge the deeper structures either. The soyboy and bot arguments are surface level systems that Sneako drizzles on top, but it's not WHY his followers follow him. It's those old, ingrained patriarchal systems that need undoing and trying to undo them in this tic for tat manner does in fact just uphold them.
PS: It's like trying to say what Noah says is only valid because Noah is lean so people should listen to Noah instead of Sneako. It doesn't really work. Noah could've been a content creator without a face reveal and his words would still hold merit and more importantly, he'd still be a soyboy to Sneako's fanbase because he'd ''just be a person they didn't like''. They wouldn't need a face, they'd make up one all on their own and attack that instead. Why? Because it's not really about soyness or wokeness, those're just smoke and mirrors.

It should be noted that Sneako has not only been routinely avoiding a public fight with a person who could actually stand up to him, he has also revealed that his own family did not invite him home to Christmas last year because he genuinely is this toxic, confrontational and conspiratorial all the time. Young men need a vast and varied array of healthy men to look up to, and I’m glad that Charlie, Hasan, and Noah are among them but more teenage and early 20s guys probably feel more like they’re the others in the group and we should never validate the thinking that Nick or Ethan or Jake or anyone is less of men or “more soy” or less worthy of women, etc. Doing that just invalidates and convinces those young men they can’t trust the person who purports that “Hasan can’t be soy” or whatever.
