What do you use to keep disease and pests at bay? The squash plants looked amazing!!!
For pestd, I always try to prevent the damage than cure them. If I see any signs of pests, I either spray neem oil mix or Spinosad mix (both are organic). Mix 1oz of 100% cold pressed neem oil + 1 tsp of dish soap in 1 gallon of room temp. water and spray thoroughly covering entire plant including both sides of the leaves. What fertilizers would you recommend? I have bone meal and blood meal, but I don't know if I need some other type of fertilizer for potassium.

Hello. I noticed that the seed package states that it’s a hybrid….. if you save the seeds of hybrids, you get all the genetic differences that are from the “parent” plants, and may not be the same fruit outcome…
Hello. I agree. The main purpose was to show the process of getting seeds from zucchinis. It may not be same results for the hybrid seeds, but on the fun side we may develop a new variety. Great observation! Thank you so much for visiting and sharing!
I always use small scissors to cut away when thinning.
