well that's funny for the last two mornings I've been out shooting seascapes and then I come back to load the pics and watch your vlog great job guys cheers
Perea Photography no probs I like the way you and Chris do and how you explain things it’s easy for beginners etc now I just have to get better at picking better compositions. How do I send you a pic to see what you think if that’s possible. Cheers
Superb thank you. I was in Iceland last year and after looking at images on the web I had high expectations of capturing some great shots along the south coast, did all my homework etc. BUT, flat light, no sunrise/sunsets and lots of tourists in shots made it very difficult. Plus a rogue wave came in and took my tripod into the sea, that was it the tripod was full have black sand. Anyways will go back again and try it once more. This vlog has certainly wetted my appetite!
Ian Brown haha yeah it can be deceiving seeing all the epic colors in Iceland. The weather is so fickle there. But there are lots of ways to deal with that. Patience is key, and concentrating on the details. The first time I went I visited the popular places and came away with some nice images, but I was reliant on good weather at easy to shoot locations. Iceland is a playground and there’s so much more to see that what is online. This gives us another excuse to go back!
My wife & I spent the last two weeks of April 2022 driving all the way around the Ring Road, and had good light for photography at least half the time. Also, there were very few tourists, and it almost felt like we had the country to ourselves. (Dang, now I've given away the secret. :-)
Hey Brother...tell me you made a photo of the small chunk of ice @3:20. That looked amazing. BTW you'll have to tell Chris I thought your church photo was better. LOL. Nah they both look good. As always thanks for sharing.
Awesome location, awesome shots ... I’m a long-exposure lover usually, but here I like both, your long and your “short” shutter speeds ... hope you had insurance when you destroyed your camera on your last visit ...
Hey Mike Sorry about your car and camera, Those are some chalenging conditions. But you both managed some very nice pics. I am becoming a fan of you both.
