  • Giustino by Legrenzi is a forgotten treasure of 17th century opera. It had remained lost for almost 300 years and now Pinchgut is staging a revival of this once 1680s smash hit for the first time in Australia.
Beautifully reimagined for the Australian stage by director Dean Bryant, it is brimming with charm and delight with a stellar lineup of international and local artists.
A classic rags-to-riches tale about Emperor Justin I, whose life is at the hands of fate and fortune. Set in a timeless world, it's a fast-paced and kaleidoscopic opera that crosses over into realms fantasy, with sea-creatures, ghosts and adventure. This utterly charming opera will transport you to another world through storytelling and the beauty of music.
