I booked Joy Electric in Orlando about 12 years ago. It is still one if my favorite shows. I'm still a huge fan. I'm curious if Ronnie still has a bunch of analog synths. The music is so well done and timeless because it was always very sincere. I also loved how it wasn't "Christian music" cheese. He sung about being sad, and other feelings that seem to be off limits for a Christian band.
I can't believe I found this video, love Ronnie so much, 1999 was when my aunt gave me CDs to listen to, top of the list, Joy Electric wow. 2020 and I'm still all about it.

as a synth developer, i haven't been able to record anything for years because every time i make music it transduces voices. how many artists equal ronnie's ability, integrity, expression of epistemology.. a voice gone. but who listens anymore. sad that no one believed me about the optic implant. free west papua.

My favorite part of this video is finding out that Ronnie is not a sports fan. (Nor am I)
I miss JE but there will always be someone else to pick up that torch along their journey.
