Fulton backpacks are so slim they will keep you from bumping into people and knocking things over in tight spaces. And they all weigh less than three pounds, so you will barely feel them on your back.
Simple, clean, comfortable and versatile, the Tenba Fulton backpacks are ready for your next adventure.
The 16L has been my faithful travel companion for several months. It has more than enough storage space and is very comfortable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a top quality backpack.
The best backpack by the company that understands photographers. Shocker! Lol Well done, Tenba 🤘🏼
🙌🔥 We aim to please! Thanks
I love the all-weather 16L. Thinking of picking up the 10L for shorter excursions. Great stuff :)
Been using the 16L AW Fulton V2 for a couple of months at this point. It's currently my favorite "Everyday" style backpack that easily accommodates my trinity kit. It's not as comfortable when packed to the gills versus my ProTactic 450AWII, but there's a reason I have that around still.
The laptop compartment also fits the 16" 2021 MBP like an absolute glove, although it does get really snug when a case is on.
These look stunning. Can’t believe I’m only now seeing them. Need one for street photography asap 😂👏🏻
Great (16L) bag for my full frame + 3 lenses + filters, mic, charger. However, I'm missing a small pocket for my spare storage card. Can something like this be "hidden" in a divider or maybe the back part?
Tenba does offer handsome card wallets that are slim and lightweight.
1:27 It would be nice
if there were two clips on the roll top
so it would be more stable and could be mounted on a tripod.
Good feedback. We’ll pass along to our design team. In the meantime, the rear handle should hang easily over tripod weight hook.
Will a mirrorless camera with a 118mm super zoom lens fit in a 10L bag?
Because this bag is used a mega-jump, treking, hiking. only one need is one lens.
The dimensions of the camera compartment are: 8.75W x 8H x 4D in.
I just wish it didn't have velcro closure, otherwise seems like a fantastic pack! 😊
Would it be possible to fit a Sony 200-600mm G lens (unattached) in the 16L compartment? Thank you.
Well the short answer is no. The longer answer is yes, sort-of. The lens is about 13 inches long with caps attached. The camera compartment in the Fulton 16L is 11 inches tall. So it doesn't fit simply/easily. However, the padded divider separating the top rolltop compartment from the bottom camera compartment is removable, so the divider could be removed (or detached on one side) to allow the lens to extend into the top compartment. Again, not an ideal fit, but it could be done. If you're looking for 200-600mm compatible alternatives, you could check the Axis v2 16L (no laptop sleeve, but a killer slim bag loved by pros), the new Solstice v2 16L Sling Bag (again, no laptop), the Solstice v2 20L Backpack (14-inch laptop), and the Solstice v2 24L Backpack (16-inch laptop).
Great bag, however I wish the back camera compartment had side wings to prevent any accidental camera drops from the bag
Our design team is always looking for opportunities to improve our bags so we'll be sure to pass your comment along to them!
how much larger is the 16l compared to the 14l? im deabting between both as im afraid that the 14l might be a little too small, while the 16l might be a bit too tall
The dimensions are listed on the product pages of the site, but the 16L is only 2.5" taller, and still fits under the seat of an airplane.
Hi Tenba! Can the devider between the camera compartment and the everyday carry compartment be opened/removed? Essentially ending up with one big "regular" backpack.
Also asking, because I want more space of the 16L over the 16L but I don't need more camera space but more "everyday" space.
Edit, also using the cubes for easy take in/out would be great, this way this bag functions perfectly for everyday stuff and put the cubes in for photo weekends/travel
Edit2: just saw you answer this in a differetn comment, answer is Yes. thank you!
Hello! Did you still need an answer to your question?
Just picked one up, very impressed !
Whats the new features! Looks the same “V2”
Larger laptop/tablet compatibility for each size. New 16L size. Improved PivotFit auto-adjusting harness straps. New All-Weather model with enhanced water-repellant fabrics and included rain cover. And we added a trolley strap to the back to make it easier to travel through an airport. those are the key changes Lots of other tweaks throughout.
Can you remove the divider between the top and lower compartment and make use of the whole bag?
Yes, the divider between the compartments is removable.
Wanna buy one of these but unsure about the size. I have a small mirrorless camera with two lenses, so that points to the 10L. But I want to be able to bring quite a bit of food, a jacket, a book, glasses etc. does anyone have any experience with the 10L or 14L? I'm looking for a backpack for daily life out and about that allows me to safely bring my camera. I don't want to carry around a lot of camera gear, I just want the few things I do bring to be protected.
In terms of practical functionality, the 10L and 14L are identical. On your back, you would not be able to tell the difference. So the 14L would be a better choice for the extra volume you will occasionally require. And any unneeded dividers can easily be removed from the camera compartment to convert part of it for non-photo use.
@@TenbaBags thank you for your advice!

Hello ! Do you think that there is enough place to put a RF 100-500 inside the 16L ?
Hey there! Yes, it fits, even attached to the camera!
Hi there! I'm in between the 16l and the DNA backpack v2. I had the V1 of the DNA backpack and really loved it but looking at the Fulton now because of carrying capacity. Am i correct in seeing the gear load out examples on your website the the Fulton is better suited for carrying more lenses and photography equipment than the DNA?
Yes, that's 100% correct. The Fulton 16L has probably 50% more camera gear capacity than either version of the DNA backpack.
@@peterwaisnor2241 thanks! Even though I do like the build quality and the fold out drawer feature of the DNA backpacks, I think I'll try the fulton for my event photography work.
Which size is best for fitting this gear:
Sony mirrorless with 24mm lens attached, 50mm lens, one smaller flash, one Godox Ad200 and Macbook Pro 14"? And of course other stuff like chargers, batteries, etc.
16L
Hi, is the interface/layer between the top and bottom compartment (camera zone) removable AND adjustable in height? On the 16L version, is the belt pack removable or can be stowed? Thanks you
The divider between the rolltop section and the camera compartment is removable. Whether it is adjustable sort of depends on your definition of that. If it moves up its default location, there is no velcro on the interior face to connect the divider to, as the rolltop interior is not velcro-compatible. However, it can certainly kick upwards to allow a camera lens combination that is slightly taller. If it is lowered into the camera section, it would not connect to the interior of the rear door, but it would still be connected in three sides, so it would hold. And yes, the belt is completely removable.
@@TenbaBags Very satisfied with my 14L in black/camo. Perhaps in the next iteration, the zippers could be lockable/fuzed, the small straps at the top and sides can be those like seatbelt in material as they glide easily in buckles, and an outside hidden zippered pocket somewhere that can take a slim wallet or a phone. But overall, I am stoked with my first roll-top bag.
Is the insert removable (as a unit)?
The insert is not removable. However, you can remove the camera section dividers, and even remove the horizontal divider between the top rolltop section and the lower camera section to convert the pack into one contiguous space.
Does this fit 200-600mm attached, I wish it also have top access..
None of the Fulton packs are designed to fit a lens as long as the Sony 200-600mm since they all have a daypack section up top for non photo gear like a jacket and food. To fit a lens as large as the Sony 200-600mm, you could look at the Axis v2 16L, which has rear access like the Fulton pack. It's an amazing low-profile pack that fits everywhere, and it has top access to the camera and long lens as well. The Axis 16L is too skinny for a laptop, but it fits a tablet. If you need laptop storage, then you could look at the Axis v2 20L or 24L, both would fit a laptop (14" and 16" respectively), and they can fit the Sony 200-600 through either the rear or top access.
Love these designs and I want one! They seem hard to get hold of in the UK though. Any plans to release an all-weather version of the tan/olive? :)
They should be available in the UK in the next month. Availability even in the US is still limited to only some sizes/colors, but all versions will be available by the end of January. There are no plans for an all-weather tan/olive at this time, but of course those bags are just as water-repellant as any other professional camera bag, they just lack the super coatings of the all-weather Fulton model.
Will there be an All black version of the all weather version? Only reason holding me back from purchasing one but they look amazing!
The black camo is black-on-black, so this is as close to all black as it will get.
May I ask what’s the difference between V1 and V2 ?
I’ve been trying to figure that out too
v2 has new Pivot-Fit shoulder straps, which are a bit more comfortable, and are compatible with a Peak Design clip if necessary. v2 has a trolley strap in the back. v2 also fits a 14" laptop in the 14L backpack, as opposed to a 10" iPad in v1. And v2 is available in the all-weather fabric.
@@TenbaBags thank you. I just purchased one through B&H
Great to hear. THANKS!
Looks interesting: I have signed up to be notified when they are available. Any chance you would make some videos of the packs being packed with a variety of equipment, rather than just some images of a packed bag? Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback. We'll pass this along to our video team.
Good pricing against those similar bags that cost too much $$$. Bookmarked for now and will order next month.
Did you update the backpack straps? That’s a weak point of my Fulton 14L.
Yes, good question. The new Fulton packs have the PivotFit straps like our Shootout backpacks. More padded, more ventilated, more adjustable.
Would the 16L fit a mirrorless body (Lumix S5) + a Film Camera (Nikon F2) and a few lenses?
Yes, for sure this will fit.
I m looking for the Khaki/Olive one like in this video. but all i found on the internet is the olive one with a light green instead of the khaki colopur. Is this a different version or is it just not the true colours on the promo pictures?
Same version. Just the way colors reproduce online.
Woo Hoo! I got one!🤸🏼🌺🤸🏼
These look great! I only have one question - will the rain cover be available for purchase by itself? I'm not a fan of black camo look so I'll probably be buying the regular black one and I would like to have the extra rain protection just in case.
Yes, the rain covered will be available separately.
The 16L Camo looks amazing and nifty!! My 15.6 inch laptop is about 1,5 centimetres bigger than a 16" macbook. Are the given pocket dimensions absolute or is there still a little bit of wiggle to fit in a laptop? :) Talking about 37,5 x 26,5 cm.
The laptop sleeve dimensions are 25W x 37H x 2D cm. Hard to say if there's enough wiggle and stretch to fit your machine.
These look great! Questions:
1. Will the 14L fit the 14" Macbook Pro M1?
2. When will this be available in Canada? :)
The MacBook Pro 14 is 8.71 x 12.31 x .61, and the sleeve on the Fulton 14L is 8.75 x 13 x .75 in. so it's a little short, unfortunately.
Regarding availability in Canada, you'd have to email our local Canadian distributor at customersupport@macgroupca.com to check when they will arrive.
Hey! super late response, but for future reference:
It does fit! Spec sheet says underwise, but I tested it! I have the Macbook Pro M1 Pro (so the one with the notch display), and it fits like a glove! (for real though, much bigger and that would be over)
Will my z6 and 4 nikon lenses (none as big as 70-200) fit in a 14L pack?
Yes, it will fit with four lenses.
My 13 inch laptop wont fit in the14L fulton zZZz
The dimensions of the 14L laptop sleeve are 8.75W x 13H x 0.75D in., just in case you want to compare them to the size of your laptop.
The 16L is able to take a 15" windows laptop but only just.
I have the DNA 15 backpack which is brilliant, and am also looking for a smaller city backpack. This looks great, especially the all weather one. Shame that it doesn't keep the fabulous magnetic 'fidlock' catches
The new DNA 16 Backpack has the same Fidlock as your current pack. But it was not the right fit for Fulton, as this is more of a timeless style and less technical.
@@TenbaBags thanks for that. I was looking at the sizes and even the 10l is virtually the same size as my DNA 15
if only the 14L fit the new 14in macbook pro
The laptop sleeve in the backpack measures 8.75W x 13H x 0.75D in, and the laptop is 8.71 x 12.31 x 0.61, so it looks like it will fit.
No. Take your wonderful backpacks and go away and stop advertising to me. I cannot help myself from irresistibly desiring to buy every single one of these things until I don't have any money left. How do these people magically know exactly the kind of thing that I am going to love and will want to buy?
Two things. First, I appreciate the feedback. Second, I went to buy a jacket last month, and when I was checking out at the register, I told the salesperson, "Now that I'm finally purchasing this jacket, can you please stop sending me the ads I've been seeing for two years on Instagram?" :)
@@peterwaisnor2241 oh and don't worry, I was only joking! I saw the ad, went to the site, and had the temptation to spend a lot more money than I have. But yes, it's okay, I don't mind seeing the ads, although if I bought something, I probably shouldn't be tempted to keep buying more of them. They look great.
But what about the laptop? Can't someone open that pocket and steal it? There is no deterrant on that side.
Yes, the laptop sleeve is unsecured. But it is no less secure than many other camera and laptop bags with a laptop in front.
A bit late but: Yes it may be less secure than "back" access laptop compartment, but those are often a lot less comfortable once you slide a laptop in
Sad to say that the 16inch laptop compartment does NOT hold a Lenovo p15 latop. Not even remotely close.
Sorry to hear it. We post the precise dimensions of our laptop sleeves on the product pages for all bags because there is such a difference in size from brand to brand. It's always a bummer when one brand is oversized in a way that it doesn't fit.
