I love the A330, wanted to buy it for some KLM Ops for what the 747 used to do from EHAM to TNCC but this here feels like an insult to pay for. I think i'll just wait for IniBuilds to complete theirs and actually deliver.
very nice review and looks like another descent aircraft for MSFS. like you said, it needs some polishing for release but most of it is there, especially the sounds & visuals. I think XP72 you would make a perfect Ambassador for MSFS / Asobo. fully paid to review, test and talk about aircraft and other aviation related things in the MSFS series simulations (FS2020 / FS2024)
Now that MSFS 2024 is comming out, everybody wants to sell their working in progress stuff before its too late.. Aerosoft made us wait too long. Now we don't need that!
Seeing half a millions of my german tax money being wasted like that makes me sad. I mean they had plenty of time and still managed to make a aeroheaven like 330.......

Like honestly, sounds may be good, but model and texturing is not at all imo. The same thing we´ve known from Aerosoft for ages and I had hoped for it to change with their first own MSFS release but that hope has faded seeing that video. Tyres are far from being round, texturing is washed as much as it has always been. The engine in particular looks like a foreign body to the plane. This thing literally looks like an FSX quality payware plane and the systems will be tremendously off once more, just like we´re used to from Aerosoft and as you cal already see in the video. They didn´t get the landing gear animation right, which is one of the things most commonly known on the A330, also to those, who don´t care about systems too much, as the A330 is the most prominent in pretty much every "smooth landings" video you can find on the internet. I was very much looking forward to this plane, given the addition of the new engine variants and the -900 version as well, but there´s no reason in really seriously hopping on this plane. That´s also far off from what other developers offer and especially comparing it to the likes of Fenix´s A320, the Aerosoft A330 will be an overpriced trash airplane for MSFS for which we´ve been waiting for 4 years now. They should in fact let others do their aircraft development if they wish for it to even take place going into the future and they should instantly cancel their A320 series if these are still a thing. Huge, really huge disappointment.
Wow.... All the issues brought up are essential to any simple point to point flight. Although it is a very good exterior model and even the flight deck textures are good, it is far from being complete nor should it even be considered by serious flight simmers. If it cannot follow a descent path with constraints, intercept a LOC/GS, this is a very long way from completion. The FSS E170/175 at least followed the lateral flight path and has come a very long way since release, but my first impressions of this A332 are not very good. Especially coming from a name like Aerosoft. We expect better, but if it is what it is, there are a lot of alternatives and they will find out. I hope it is improved upon when it is officially released, otherwise they'll get a bad rap. These days no serious flight simmer will spend their hard earned money on the promise it'll be improved over time.
As soon as you said the textures were good I lost interest. The textures are absolutely awful and extremely low res. Compare this to the LVFR you’d get confused which one was developed for 3+ years.
@@XP72official that is sad. i cant believe it, i do have one more question if you can share the info, do the default aircraft in MSFS 2024 have cabins or is it the same instance? and lastly i guess i am spoiled with Xplane, cabins are just there on pretty all aircraft

@@ender2gold693 What he's saying is that the ERJ was an "Early Access" release and they listed the short comings after a few Streamers pointed them out. And there were a lot. Judging Aerosoft's past, it would be difficult to trust any quick updates and releases. If you know, you know. I hope when it is released, most of those issues are resolved. Xp72 is either bought by the developers or just dosnt care enough about being honest to tell the truth that this plane is a complete piece of shit just like the Latin vfr a340😂
My single Takeaway is that this is just where we are in flight simulation especially with MSFS it seems that so many people just want a good looking product versus a functioning product that developers are just going that way. Don't drag the whole MSFS into this mess! In recent years we have received great add-ons for the MSFS, which not only look good but also offer a great simulation. Yes, there are developers like Captainsim or LatinVFR who have released garbage, but let's not pretend that's representative of the whole MSFS. Aerosoft also wanted to release an airplane on the level of Fenix or PMDG, they just didn't make it. The airplane is neither in terms of systems nor visually at a level that corresponds to today's industry standard. They have released the plane now because they are too scared of the Inibuilds A330.
This has nothing to do with MSFS. It took Aerosoft 4 years to come up with this crap. Let’s not pretend like this is the level they were aiming for, otherwise we wouldn’t be so disappointed.
it took fenix 2 years to release their A320, same with pmdg to update their p3d planes to still have systems added, and look better than what they do in p3d, iFly has almost the entire plane modeled while having most systems implemented, maddog one year to port their MD80 from p3d that still looks miles better than this while having all their systems working and still being updated, it's no excuse whatsoever to deliver this garbage, especially after a half a million euro injection.
“Work in progress” after almost 4 years plus government funding is INSANE!! 😂
4 years to develop. And this is the crap we got 💩
I've been waiting 2 years for this aerosoft.. no wait, it was for a CRJ update !
It is hardly 93% complete, XP. That is too generous. And it'll take more than a few weeks for sure.
70% would be overly generous. What's disappointing is that with all the delays, this is what they come up with?! C'mon, man!
They had over 3 bloody years to develop this !
Don't even know where to start lol, guess I'll wait for the ini one in '24.
I’m hoping they update it quickly to be in a good working state.
