- Hello and welcome back to the channel today we are going to be doing something a little bit different, we are going to be taking a very In-depth look at the brand new Flight Factor 777 V2 for X-plane and see if after 10 years of development it is worth your money.

Thanks For watching
I have been completely blown away by that addon, even if it needs to be polished. The system-depth is just crazy. Price is not even wort mentionning for such a beauty! It’s one of the highlights of my 36y flightsim-carreer. That’s my opinion.
Absolutely 100% agree, they have outdone themselves, as soon as the full release is out (soon) it will be the best add on aircraft for any sim.
Price is so good you can even mention it on UA-cam??
Sounds like a car sales man!
I was fortunate enough to get in the alpha very early and got the 777 v2 for $79. Really smooth to hand fly, almost Airbus like. I would recommend it.
It’s a really nice bit of kit, glad we have it for the sim now.
I finally just got this less than a few days ago on the clearance sale and coming from flying the pmdg 777-300er a lot on MSFS.. this by far NAILS it!!! It nails everything in simulation depth! They went all out! What gets me the biggest is not only how simulated it is but the SOUNDS! They’re by far as real as what the 200er sounds like in real life! I can tell they went out and got a ton of recordings, but the level of detail is insane! This if not gives you the real feel of what a 777 is! Pmdg is very good too but.. they really coulda done more than in the sounding department but most importantly, give us a real simulation type of plane that has the exact features as what FF777 has! They went all out on this aircraft you can seriously tell that they went as deep as getting all the bells and whistles you can think of that a real simulation needs to have their aircrafts match their real world counterparts as real as possible and that’s exactly what this team did to the 777-200er! Absolutely the best 777 out there and a must go get if you want a deep detailed simulated aircraft!
The FF 777 is really really good I hope they sort the VNAV stuff out soon and get it out of beta.
@@Aviation-SIMsame! They’ve got this plane well made! The maintenance on this thing is insane!! Name me one other plane that’s this realistic that you can like fiddle with
How do you find the fps in this aircraft?
those sounds are so much better than PMDG
They are really amazing sounds.
Love the new version! Definitely much nicer than the older one for Xplane 11, however my only wish is having a cargo V2 version of this aircraft! I hope it is in the works!
Hopefully soon they announce that they will do variants of the 777. I really do hope so.
This seem to be the best and most in-depth sim addon ever made next to the Hotstart Challenger.
It is a very very good add on, can’t wait for future updates.
Its great and will get better.
If you want to do professional flights at the moment, I do not recommend it unless you want to help beta test. It has a lot of bugs and missing features (VNAV is buggy and almost non existent)
Edit: As of the beginning of October 2024, the VNAV is working. Still some minor things, but other than that, the FF777v2 is now an aircraft I can recommend
Absolutely, I enjoy flying it and it’s a nice addition to x-plane however like you said it has too many bugs that break immersion and ruin you flight.
VNAV is now in the beta, there are admittedly a lot of bugs but they are working hard to fix them
What are The missing features? Do you know when will the definitive version be published?
i dont think the price is steep, its justified considering how many features is packed into this model
I can absolutely understand were you are coming from and I do agree but I just think that price is high for an add on for a sim it’s like the Toliss a330 I haven’t bought it because of the price and I don’t think that aircraft is worth how much they are charging but I do think that the 777 is worth the money.
yes
Definitely
It looks fucking better than the PMDG especially for the sounds
I like the PMDG I think there EFB is more streamlined the flight factor one is abit of a mess but both aircraft are amazing.
Flight Factor taking the proverbial, thanks for great review and your opinion. Too much $ for this Aircraft, and it seems too many bugs. I refuse to Beta test for FF and over pay them for the privelage. Will wait for Toliss A330 as they are the very best. May give this bird a look though in a year or so.
Second that
Absolutely, looking forward to the toliss and like I said in the video it’s a shame that after 10 years of development they still released it in a public beta.
Buy the pmdg, way better than this
@@reazyy9667 sorry but apart from a few missing features and the bugs needing to be ironed out, the PMDG simply cannot compete. The FF777 has simply more system depth and features. It will most likely be the most advanced airliner for any sim, if they achieve to just complete and polish it. This addon is absolutely mindblowing and remembers me of the CL650. Bye bye PMDG.
@@goldgamer8446 hell naw pmdg way better
So proud of how far you’ve come with your channel.❤️
Thank you darling ❤️
Hello Excelent review! I have two questions the first is how do you see the performances in terms of fps? And the second is there any way to import o put the winds en the FMS thank you! Excelente job!
Thank you for the kind words, and the fps are very similar to the other flight factor Boeing aircraft like the 757/767 but the frames are a lot heavier than aircraft like the Toliss/zibo, also if you import you simbreif flight plane into the fmc the winds are uploaded automatically.
So if I can run the FF 767-400ER, averaging 25-45 frames, I should be fine?
Yes I believe so
The answer is YESSS
No, pmdg is way better and cheaper
@@reazyy9667 This FF 777 will greatly exceed the level of the old and dusty PMDG and also flies in the best simulator and best dynamics, which is XP12.
@@reazyy9667 no, PMDG has like half of FF777‘s features and is overpriced. Paying only 20% less for a product half as good?
And its not good, the psychics are off to me.@@reazyy9667
@@reazyy9667pmdg has the worst sounds in all of man kind and thats not combined with msfs icy ground handling
hows the performance? compared to other aircrafts like zibo or 767FF? could you tell?
The Zibo has better performance, but it’s about the same performance as the FF767/757.
Please change the description its misleading the plane was in development for 3 years not 10
It has been in development for nearly 10 years buddy, they announced they were doing a V2 of the 777 all the way back in 2017 and said they had already started ground work on the aircraft well before that.
Question: I thought the GE90 was only on the -300ER....is it actually on the -200ER as well?
Yes, a lot of BA real 777-200 have the GE 90s.
There's no 300ER or 200F yet right?
No just the 200 ER at the moment.
I think xplane and p3d more reality in flying than msfs it’s horrible man what’s ever you do you can’t be stable in the approach with the pmdg 777w
Sometimes I find it really hard to fly in Msfs because of the flight model all the plane feel the same.
@@Aviation-SIMExactly man, i saw somebody saying the same as i do, msfs psychics are off, thats all i want to say.
Which mods do you use for scenery, because it looks like msfs😂. I‘d be thankful if u share it😊
It’s Orbx great British south.
@@Aviation-SIM ah ok, thanks for the quick response
do you use x camera?
No it’s all just default x-plane 12 cameras.
Is the radio 8.33 compatible? Im having a hard time flying the FF777 older versions online…
I’m really sorry but I don’t know the answer to that, I would highly recommend popping that question into the Flight Factor discord.
@@Aviation-SIM I don't know if you have your hands on this airplane still, but if you could check if the radio can tune a frequency such as 122.860.
I wrote them about it but still no answer. thnx !!
I can confirm that you can set Frequency like 122.860.
@@Aviation-SIM Thank you! big help
do you have rudder pedals beacause i dont i use the tca boeing yoke without rudder pedals and when i go to use rudder it just stays and doesnt automaticly go back to zero rudder like i want it too
Sorry but I use the TCA Airbus side stick, I have never used the TCA yoke before so wouldn’t know what to do with said problem.
@@Aviation-SIM thanks
Does it eat fps?
It’s on Par with other FF products like the 767-400.
@Aviation-SIM ok thanks
27:45 is that your own raas audio ?
No it comes with the aircraft.
Hows the fps compared to toliss aircraft?
It’s very good and the FPS on my system is very comparable to the Toliss a340, however if you are in the fence I would wait until it’s in full release.
@@Aviation-SIM thanks for the info, it does look very good. Would you say it's comparable to the toliss a340 in systems depth or does the toliss beat it in that aspect? Thank you
No I would say that the flight factor is more detailed, it has a lot of system depth and a lot more features.
@@Aviation-SIMgood to hear thanks, I've noticed it's on reduced price now so was wondering if I should just get it now. Are the bugs just minor or is there anything that gets on your nerves?
After a few flight I’ve done there are some really annoying bugs like an Lnav bug, when going direct to a way point the way point will delete itself and it will fly in a straight line and not follow Lnav or flight director and some bugs with automation I would wait until its full release.
It’s a really good plane I would just until everything is smoothed out.
Don’t think I will be buying flight factor and I do not recommend Flight Factor products. Their tarnished reputation from the A320, A350 and lack of 757/767 bug report feedback and the shameless pricing models have completely taken the consumer trust out of the provider. Overall the aircraft is nice but Flight Factor still being in the hands of Ramzzees, don’t expect much progress or bug fixing in the future
A350 is an old addon you can’t seriously expect it to be of the highest quality anymore.
@@lactoese I’m not comparing apples and oranges here. I’m saying that FF continue to push products that get no bug support and are grossly mispriced. If you want to compare apples and oranges look at FlyJSim. You get continually updated products and the 737-200 from its release has been continually supported from day 1. For older products that no longer get support like the TU-154, Felis made is free for people to download and pulled down the store page to encourage people to get it for free. Please read my comment more carefully next time!
PMDG 777 is much better, with better sounds. this just looks like a mobile game. graphics look awful. the ground textures are bad, flight modelling is bad. what a rip off
What a delusional comment lol. It’s like stating that MSFS has awful graphics. Almost all opinions (some of them coming from real airliner-pilots) came to the opposite conclusion. And he even mentionned the nice looking textures like most have. It’s easy to spot a biased delusional fanboy (or -girl).
Looks like you wrote this on Opposite Day.
If you do your homework, this is a -200, not a -300. So they will feel different. I personally find the FF more accurate in than the PMDG in every conceivable way. Plus FF is actually doing attention to detail , while PMDG is just in it for the money
Pmdg is msfs
is this latest 2.0.20-beta?
Yes I believe so.
