You need to listen to Ronnie's re-imagined version of Last Resort. The original song is by Papa Roach from 2000. If you aren't familiar, listen to that one first and then listen to Ronnie's re-imagined version. Absolutely incredible how deep it hits...and we're always up for a double feature!
The glory of my crown is 10 years clean from heroin and turning my life around. Steady job and I can stand on my own two feet and provide for myself. No longer do I need to rely on others to hold my hand or tell me I’ll be okay because I have my own back and I’ll hold my own hand and I’ll make my own self okay. It’s better to learn to be okay being alone than to have someone and give them everything in you only to still feel alone and have your happiness stolen from you by someone else. A wise quote “ never surrender your own happiness to someone else’s hands. For only you can see the pathway to your own happiness in life. “ I’ve found that after many years battling and also I love your reactions to his songs because I have the same thoughts when listening to lyrics.
@@savvynyx7156 thank you very much I truly appreciate your kind words they made me smile! Hugs! It’s been a hard long road but as long as we have the will power we as people can do anything even things thought not possible. Like they say only 2% of people beat addiction. That’s so sad but I think that number is wrong I’ve seen many friends also over come it maybe not as long as me but I moved across the country lol my 2% tattoo is scheduled for next weekend! That’s when he got in trouble and ended up in prison so yes I do believe a lot started there but even in their lyrics and songs you can already hear that Ronnie had a pain inside him from childhood.
This is what I received from this video! After the crown disappears, the character turns to the crowd, pleading for understanding about his perceived unworthiness. He openly acknowledges his flaws and mistakes. When he cuts the grass to expose the snakes, it symbolizes those who followed him without truly knowing who he is. As he faces punishment, the crowd and guards turn against him, leading to his crucifixion, which represents a rebirth. This transformation hints at his struggle with his past actions and the monster he’s become-or fears he will become-due to everything he has done, will do, or feels powerless to change. Each video serves as a chapter, building up to this moment of self-realization and confrontation with his identity.
I wouldn’t call him a villain but a hero and this video is a calling against the system and the imagery of being on the cross is his way of saying he is willing to be the sacrifice. He will sacrifice everything for all he believes and to help break down this system that is enslaving society.
I love this reaction. It's awesome to see someone interpret this song the way you have. Falling in Reverse is my favorite band. I relate to Ronnie so much, I feel his music in my soul. It's my safe place

When Ronnie is talking about the generation, about standing up and fighting, all I can think about is gen z. We're labeled as the generation that'll "fix" everything, but most of the issues won't change with just one generation. I interpret his lyrics about being prepared to die and burn, and sacrifice to break the curse is what gen z will have to do. This song is very inspirational.
You noticed how the crown dissolved into his tattoo?? They had to cgi out his tattoo then had to put it back on when the crown was placed.. little details.
They didn't, he has the tattoo all the time. Look at 1:02 in this video, when the masked person is walking towards him, Ronnie clearly has the tattoo. When he turns around and kneels down, it's a direct continuation, it's the same scene and his tattoo is there all the time.

I really love your videos. For a long time, I've resonated with music as it can explain and communicate how I've been feeling when I haven't been able to. Many times, when someone has asked me how I'm feeling, I've replied with "listen to this, it explains it better than I can". Thank you so much for delving into this concept, it's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one it resonates with. I understand you've probably got song requests coming from all angles and your list must be insane, but I would really love for you to listen to and analyse Airfield by Enter Shikari. It's a song that has personally gotten me through multiple lows and struggles, and can bring me back to a place of hope and some form of strength. Please keep up the excellent thing that you're doing. It's helping thousands of us all over the world. Thank you.
Thanks Taylor...I think. Almost every reaction you record speeks to me in terms of mental health. Your interpretation of the lyrics seem to relate to some of the very challenges I have been facing. You keep mentioning "The Imposter Syndrome" and I find myself reflecting back to my life experiences and when evaluating my self esteem or worthiness, I invariably fall into the questioning mind..."Do I deserve this _____ ?" Have I done anything that anyone else couldn't have done? Do I really belong here? Why do I feel like an imposter? And any minute, someone is going to expose me as an imposter. It's really uncomfortable. Waiting for the "other shoe to drop". I never feel safe and I know it's irrational. But I've never felt worthy of praise and I know it's because I'm still waiting for my (step)dad to appreciate me. To be proud of me. And some of the $hit he's done recently feels like he's INTENTIONALLY trying to hurt me. To place me beyond arm's length. Every time I view your reactions, it feels like it's "tailored" (see what I did there?) to me to be therapeutic. Love your reactions and think you're stunningly beautiful, exceptionally bright and intuitive.
From Gregor1an: @josephbishop3590 Haha - I do see what you did there! Nice work! Your post speaks to me because my wife struggles with the imposter syndrome as well. I don't think she's ever identified something like you have with your stepfather though. Her stepfather has been the one that rasied her from the age of 2.5, and he's great! Her birth father is in her life, but he's always been just a bit different in how he approaches his relationship. It's been very "formal". He would pick her up when she was younger on a Saturday, go to lunch, go to a movie, and drop her back off. That has kinda continued into adulthood and she turns 40 this year. So your experience makes me wonder if part of her imposter syndrome is from her birth dad, similar to you but the other way around. Anyway - I can definitely understand how and why you would feel that way! I'm not sure about your situation, how old you are, etc. If you're still living in the house with the stepfather, that makes things exorbitantly more challenging! I agree with your comments about Taylor - her insight into song lyrics often makes me think of things in a whole different light. That said, from my perspective, YOU are also bright and intuitive. To have the emotional IQ that you have to sorta grasp and understand the situation you're in to the level you do...that takes a lot of self-awareness, maturity, empathy, etc. You 100% should be proud of yourself for that! When I put myself in your shoes, it feels like I would either try to "stop" feeling those feelings of imposter syndrome -OR- I would try to stop allowing the stepfather to have power over my feelings. I think both are enormously easier said than done, especially from an outsider's perspective. I could be wrong, but I feel like maybe there's a little bit of human nature working against you here. You know how we could have 99 good things happen to us, said about us, etc. but it only takes 1 bad thing to really set our mindset back? It feels kinda like that to some degree. I'm guessing you have hundreds or thousands of good things, blessings, etc. everyday that you maybe overlook or don't realize are significant. But that one negative thing sends you into a spiral. It's very hard to break out of that negative self-talk! Something that helps me sleep at night, though, is knowing that I've done everything I could that day to be a caring, open, helpful person to my fellow humans. If you treat him fairly, yet he still treats you poorly, I think you should be proud of yourself for doing the right thing, and try to not let him have power over you recognizing and acknowledging that. I wish you the best, and keep at it with the puns and/or dad jokes - that one was great!!
I’ve been waiting for you to react to this song since you reacted to popular monster…. Music has always been my outlet of everything that I’ve been through. This year has been the hardest of my life and I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard this song…. I don’t think I’ve ever resonated with a song as much as I do this song! Thank you for what you do

Amigo the Devil . Fall down the rabbit hole . He writes some of the best most depressing songs I've ever heard . Plus some damn funny songs. My crown is that i can see what other people need, because my mother always would suddenly freak out when i was a child (and I had to try to prevent that for me my father and my sister) Unfortunately, i also learned to put my own needings behind, too.
You're right about the crown being vitally important .. note that the crown in question is a crown of thorns (in the biblical story and in Ronnie's tattoo / the crowning in this video). My read is that this song is kind of in reverse chronological order, at least lyrically. He felt the struggle between good and evil, between the admirable traits and the ones that make him hated. When it finally came down to it, abandoned by a higher power, and being pulled in both directions he had to choose one way or another, He decided to make a third way of his own, blasting both the good and evil influences to bits, and taking on both sides to live as his authentic self - "I used everything that I had available to make me the person I am today" Metaphorically, his old self had to die so his new, powerful, triumphant self could live.
You should check out the trilogy (Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs) at some point. Combined the three of them tell one heck of a story about Ronnie’s life.
you should do 1049 gotho by idles, its about depression(written from the point of view of when the singer used to work as a social care assistant the story of one of his clients), and idles have set up their own fan support group the af gang, which is sort of like heartsupport.

You sound like Britta on Community with your pronunciation of bagel which legitimately made me laugh out loud so with all the love in the world I really hope you enjoyed your "bagle".
My father in law died unexpectedly at the beginning of this year. I had no idea how much he kept the family stable. He moderated and provided a pillar of strength for everyone to turn to when they felt weak or were falling apart. Since he has left the family is dissolving into individuals who are all falling into their vices to attempt to deal with his absence. These range from hurtful blameful tendencies to substance abuse. I am trying so hard to stay sober clean and healthy to provide at least one place people can turn to for guidance and rational thinking…however the chaos around me grows as each person is battling each other and themselves. Don’t know how much longer I can hold the ceiling up on this crumbling structure.
From KotoHiAme: @alexfrank6534 I know that feeling all to well, all too well. Your structure is not crumbs to me, I feel like what you have is fortified steel of guidance because you are able to help while going through the loss, unlike myself. And you are staying sober and healthy, again unlike myself. I went through the stages of grief and damaged parts of me before bouncing back to accepting the father of my life was not coming back. So, my hat is off to you. So, in my opinion I think you will hold up much longer than you think. if I remember the quote correctly, "pillars don't fall, they become stronger over time by the hands that master them"
From OmarM: @alexfrank6534 Hey friend, I'm so sorry for your loss and the burden you've been carrying. Clearly, your father in law plated a massive role in holding your family together as you say. I know how the loss of a loved one leave a painful void, I can't imagine the weight of trying to be everyone's "rock" or strength on top of that while also trying to stay grounded yourself. It's amazing that you're trying staying sober in the midst of all this. I know that your father in law is looking down on you and is proud of the work you're putting in right now. I know it's a cliche saying but truly, you don't realize it until you're out of it; better days are ahead. Things do get better and you start to kind of pick up the pieces and although you don't really forget about them, you start to live without them being there. Please keep reaching out friend, you're not alone and you don't have to go through this alone.

It does sound like you are being strong and stable for the family, but heavy is the crown, right? Your father in law must have been a pretty great dude to carry that burden so well. I applaud you for doing the best you can in picking up that honor and challenge...and please know that is all you can do - the best you can do with what you have been given at that time, so try not to let the pressure get to you. You can't bear the greatness of glory with humility unless you have known the weight of the crown and the heaviness of its burden. Unless you know humility, the glory of the crown will always corrupt you.
My interpretation of this song and like the crucifixion is: Fans and industry will bestow that crown up upon you and then worship you as a God when you’re that influential and famous. The same people that put that crown on your head and worship you will then tear it all down and crucify you.

Thank you for what you do
Ahh i love your breakdowns of falling in reverse songs so much❤❤❤ thank you for this!!!!
So many more incredible songs you should check out!!!
Voices in my head and watch the world burn next ❤
Finally waited so long for this reaction. Yet commenting this before the reaction I was so excited . May leave another comment after watching it. 😂🙏
I have 1 month left to see this fucking genius live...the wait seems long to me
‘Heavy is the crown you seek’
When Everything falls apart, why have You Forsaken Me
When Everything falls apart Heavy is the Crown You See
Watch the world burn and Last resort reimagined are also connected to this and Ronald
Last Resort or All My Life is a must next!
Great take on this Taylor! Keep up the great work! I see the comments section is already saying what I want to see as well, you MUST react to FIR's cover of Papa Roach's Last Resort!!!! It is amazing, just as everything FIR & Ronnie have been doing as of late. These are not just songs or music videos. It's a freakin movie of current topics that invoke deep reflection, self care and facing your troubles head on!
Admitting you had personal problem is a good first step. I mean I could tell you horrible stories but nobody wants to hear that. One song I love is a sooooooo great. I Hope ya get a chance
He said I guess you could say I’ve escaped my fate. He used to be lead singer of escape the fate
I absolutely love falling in reverse they are amazing . I'm not sure how you take reaction requests but I figured I'd add mine here not only for you but anyone that lives sad depressing songs . Amigo the Devil . Fall down the rabbit hole . He writes some of the best most depressing songs I've ever heard . Plus some damn funny songs. Anyway keep up the awesome job with your reactions I really think you have helped a lot of people thru a lot of different things
5:18 - I just LOVE that reaction. Mine was the same... :)
Crucified for telling the truth 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Next: Last Resort Reimagined 🔥
My crown is that i can see what other people need, because my mother always would suddenly freak out when i was a child (and I had to try to prevent that for me my father and my sister) Unfortunately, i also learned to put my own needings behind, too.
Last resort reimagined is a must. Yes it is the papa roach song but Ronnies reimagining of it makes you see the lyrics in a whole different light.
hahaha loved your bagel dance, fuckin cuuuuutteeeee!!!! 🥰😍 love your attitude, reactions, and ronnie! 🥰
You NEED to do some Citizen Soldier videos!!! You would love Runaway (From Myself)
Yasssssssss!
PLEASE PLEASE do Last Resort Reimagined!!!!!
You're the cutest reactor to metal ever. I love you.
Agreed! Must do LAST RESORT!!!
YESSS so excited to watch this😁 love this video!!!
Also gotta do "Last resort Reimagined" by Ronnie its INCREDIBLEEEE
You're right about the crown being vitally important .. note that the crown in question is a crown of thorns (in the biblical story and in Ronnie's tattoo / the crowning in this video).
My read is that this song is kind of in reverse chronological order, at least lyrically. He felt the struggle between good and evil, between the admirable traits and the ones that make him hated. When it finally came down to it, abandoned by a higher power, and being pulled in both directions he had to choose one way or another, He decided to make a third way of his own, blasting both the good and evil influences to bits, and taking on both sides to live as his authentic self - "I used everything that I had available to make me the person I am today"
Metaphorically, his old self had to die so his new, powerful, triumphant self could live.
You should check out the trilogy (Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, Drugs) at some point. Combined the three of them tell one heck of a story about Ronnie’s life.
You should do fall to pieces by velvet revolver...loved your nutshell review..my favorite song of all time
you should do 1049 gotho by idles, its about depression(written from the point of view of when the singer used to work as a social care assistant the story of one of his clients), and idles have set up their own fan support group the af gang, which is sort of like heartsupport.
You sound like Britta on Community with your pronunciation of bagel which legitimately made me laugh out loud so with all the love in the world I really hope you enjoyed your "bagle".
Have you ever done any In This Moment? Sanctify Me and The Purge are good ones especially Sanctify Me to get you in the Halloween mood!
Ronnie is the man of generations
I'm not a vampire - Revamped from falling in reverse is also a must for your channel
love the vid :D
-me
“You could say I escaped my fate!” is because his last band was “Escape The Fate” lol fucking love Ronnie man
Crucified for telling the truth 🔥 next: " Last Resort Reimagined "

From gravitykills24: @alexfrank6534 Thank you for reaching out to us at HeartSupport - I totally understand your post since I lost my father-in-law a few years ago, and his passing really hit me hard for several reasons I didn't even fully realize until several months later. Don't try to control things you can't control like other people's actions or words - and sometimes forgiveness is needed, and other times just letting things go is wise. I hope you find the skills and stamina to keep the family together as best as possible. You are awesome and I hope others in your family notice this and join you in helping keep some unity and love as you grieve your father in law moving forward.

That “escape my fate” bar is🔥 You should react to “drug in me is you” or stuff from his “fashionably late” album
FiR are hands down my fave new band. So intense.
Well said.
every time it is like watching a movie
Thank you
I love this whole album. Definitely should check out Voices in my head and All my life because it’s with Jelly Roll
Suit is from "Watch the world burn".
He also wears it in Ronald, Tech N9ne is the who suits him up in it before his battle with Alex Terrible
@@airforce9872 Might be, I saw it once but I never liked that song beyond average level. Good to know tho.
You can't bear the greatness of glory with humility unless you have known the weight of the crown and the heaviness of its burden. Unless you know humility, the glory of the crown will always corrupt you.
The Drug In Me Reimagined is also a really good fit for this channel
he said something about escaping his fate because that was the name of the band he was in prior to falling in reverse that caused him much pain
My interpretation of this song and like the crucifixion is:
Fans and industry will bestow that crown up upon you and then worship you as a God when you’re that influential and famous.
The same people that put that crown on your head and worship you will then tear it all down and crucify you.
First time in my german life i saw a bagel dance. thanks for that
he was in a band called "escape the fate" that's what the escaped my fate line was referencing
You should check out all falling in reverse reimagined songs their so good 😊
Omg I miss NY bagels. We don’t get this in Australia 😢
Thanks for sharing your reaction! Have you listened to or reacted to James Blunt "Monsters"? If not, I would love to get your thoughts and reaction to it! "Monsters" - just in time for Halloween!!!
You have to do Last Resort!
