It's not always about "anime." Or "Japan." (Although Korea has anime too equally so It fits.) It's also mainly a cutesy voice and aegyo/aeni like aswell in korea/culture. It's equal. But I guess also Korea's cutesy culture does have anime-aeni like culture aswell equally. Not a fan how people always hand it over to japan but not korea to equally have that cuteness aswell. But yes, I hope they do more concepts/cutesy things, etc like this aswell.

The intentionally bad green screen scenes are trying to look "self-made" since the concept is the girls trying to convince everyone that they are super heroes. "Call me Super... of course 😏" Making their own costumes, toy guns, going after petty crimes like littering, self-made action scenes 😂 love it
I really liked what you said at the end about CHOCOME bringing some much-needed silliness to the table - I absolutely love this release. I don't think there's many MVs that have made me laugh this hard before, and it makes it so much better that the song is such a banger too. I adore this subunit.

This is so impossibly perfect, but what stole my heart was Dayoung's "anime voice", the way she projects it like some passionate main character from a shoujo series. The only thing more perfect is if they gave a shout out to, or recognized the Crayon Pop Women, I'm sure Way Choa, Gummi and Soyul would appreciate it so much.

curious fact: chocome comeback was being postponed because they couldn't find a good song and dayoung went to 2am's changmin (since they go to the same gym) and asked him to give them a song and he did both the title and the bside! changmin write lots of trot and ballad songs, that's why supper yuppers has this trot vibe!

It’s fun, lighthearted, and silly (as you mentioned). It’s something I’d never hear in the west and I appreciate that so much. It reminds me of earlier K-pop that was a bit cheesier and less serious than now, which I miss a bit.

Reminds me so much of Sailor Moon and the video also reminds me a bit of Ladies’ Code’s “Pretty Pretty” M/V at times (not accusing them of copying so please don’t come for me 😂). This is my favorite song of 2022. I'm always up for this type of sound in kpop. Orange Caramel had some of my favorite Korean songs in the 2010s. Dayoung is so charming in this music video. Snuper's Platonic Love is also a very good song.
