No eps, no diff lock and a 3 speed. The problem is not that this machine is bad, it just doesn't make sense. Your most "premium" machine doesn't have features the rancher has. This was nothing more than a slap in the face to the people that have been begging for a mid bore atv from Honda for a decade or more.

As a cattle rancher that has used a lot of Honda products on our operation, I can say that I would DEFINITELY use this new machine. People on here are complaining that it doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but that is exactly what makes it appealing to the rancher crowd. Reliability and furthermore predictability is more important than flash and dash, and Honda definitely delivers in that department. Any brand besides Honda will fall apart on a ranch or farm. Way harder miles than the typical weekend warrior would do on a trail. Have a Yamaha grizzly that has been absolutely junk since we’ve had it. Countless suspension repairs, it’ll die if it smells water i can go on and on with problems,It sure rides nice but it doesn’t hold up to abuse. The old Honda Forman we have has been driven hard and put away wet its whole life. Besides oil changes and tires it’s been flawless, none of the bells and whistles of course.
Hell yeah the 86 fourtrax 350, 04 recon and 05 recon at my paps have all been used hard and not so well maintained but they just keep going. No fancy features but has what is needed
If you need low speed pulling power I dont think you'll like this machine. Its seems likely to me it will suffer clutch failures due to the gear ratio of first gear if anyone wants to actually do heavy slow pulling.
I was ready to drive to the dealer to order a 700cc honda atv until i found out it was a Rincon in fancier clothes. Adding a 5 speed foot shift alone would make it so much better.
I know that Hondas are a very reliable unit but this looks like it was built brand new for 1991. Especially considering the offerings of other units on the market
I remember watching Grahams video's, he bashed his rincon and it just kept going. I know who you're talking about with the Rincon over 100k, it's nuts. He runs it year round has tracks in the winter. It's been rebuilt a couple times with OEM parts but that is a crazy amount of miles for any atv.
I would purchase this new Rubicon 700 in a heartbeat. I own a 2007 Rincon 680 with over 14,000 km on it, never replaced a part besides tires. Regular maintenance is a must (engine/diff oils and air filter). My Rincon is used exclusively on my trapline in Northwestern Ontario and I can honestly admit that this is the best piece oc machinery I have ever owned, extremely dependable has never left me stranded !!! I love the 3 speed automotive style transmission, absolutely bulletproof !!!
Looks good ! Love to see the field tests in mud. The gearing on the older model was the biggest complaint when it came to spinning tires in the mud. Love the 126km comment! Had a suzuki 250 quadrunner back in the day 26k miles in 3 years when I was a kid!
No Electronic Power Steering = NO deal. My old Honda TRX350FM had no E.P.S and my wrists used to ache after riding it daily. My 2022 & 2023 Can Am Outlander's 450 & 650 Max 6x6 have three levels of E.P.S power and quite frankly, blow my old Honda away in every respect.
@@Joebauers2505 I presume you've tried the D.P.S setting it on the lowest setting. I can tell the difference between the three settings & always have mine on MAX as I almost always have the front diff locked for 6x6 drive & better steering response in the bush. The Can Am Outlander steering is still 100% mechanically connected from the handle bar grips to the front tire tread lugs with the associated terrain feedback, just with electric power assistance on turning.
@@dustyfarmer yes ive tried the lowest setting but still gives to much assistance for open fire roads its fine and i can deal with it, but when i hit some of the more technical trails with heavy rock or slow terrain with pits and ruts i wish i could have it off completely.
@@Joebauers2505 I'm the opposite, in rocks & rough terrain I love the D.P.S on MAX so it doesn't rip the bars around and largely overcomes any steering feedback or kickback from the wheels. You might try and pull the D.P.S fuse from the fuse box to kill the D.P.S. I don't know if that will throw a trouble code that will come up on the dash or put it into limp mode but you can try it. To clear the code if it does throw one, disconnect your battery for 5 minutes, put the fuse back in then re-connect the battery and you should be back to square one.
I just bought one of those, I bought a 2024 Rubicon 520 DCT last year, and this year I went to get a new Rincon for my son (not available anymore) so they sold me that. Same color as that one ironically, but my 520 is green, which is the only 2024 rubicon that was in the state of Alaska when I bought mine last November. The reason Honda makes you use the right (FRONT) brake leaver while in gear, is to make you have to be pretty much on the machine to be able to start it that way, because you will literally have to have both hands on both sides of the handle bars to start it that way, one hand working the right brake leaver, and the other hand operates the start button on the opposite side. Because if you could start it usually the right leaver, you could start it from off the machine with the park brake set, or by briefly putting you finger on it to start then let go, from being physically off the machine. Not a real good/safe idea to start it in gear while being physically off the ATV. The things I didn’t like about it, and the reason I bought myself was the 520, instead of the 700, is I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t come available with a front difflock (BIG ISSUE) and it doesn’t offer a rear mounted trailer or towing hitch of any kind! Plus I like the 5 speed DCT a bit better, with the high/low 10 forward gears, it makes the DCT models more versatile for many different purposes. That is probably why they don’t offer a hitch of ANY KIND, and those three things are really big issues, in my opinion. But if your a Rincon person, it would definitely work for you, because none of those things was available for the Rincon either, but I feel like Honda really dropped the ball on this one manly because they didn’t offer the front differential lock like on the Forman/Rubicon line up of the 520’s. I mean literally every single other big bore ATV manufacturer has the front differential locking system, why can’t Honda get with the program and make it available for their big bore ATVs! I can live with the 3 speed auto transmission, it has a HIGH/LOW so it works very well, and it’s durability is extremely acceptable, and I can fabricate a hitch for the ATV, that I can handle, but no front differential lock, I mean came on Honda!!!
@@KHH56 my 2001 Rubicon 500 has high/low, I thought the Rincon/rubicon 700 did also, but I may be mistaken, I bought that for my son, and I only rode it twice, loaded it on my truck and unloaded it, I probably put a total of 1,000 feet on it. But my son has already put 344 miles on it, and he’s only had it 10 day as of right now. Lol
Great news!!! After much internet research and e mail correspondence with Honda, they have confirmed that there will be a Rubicon 1000 debuting in the spring of 2045!!!
No EPS, a chassis that leaves a lot to be desired. Sub par suspension performance, and a price tag that makes you question your sanity. Honda's lost, and they need to breathe serious life in to their off road products.
Nice review Mike - hard to get excited about a 700 Rubi, only a 3 speed, no adjustable shocks, less towing capacity for a big 675cc ATV - the Rubi 520 is a better buy but the color is nice. Put her thru the paces and lets see how it comes out in the big bore class. Cheers
Excellent review, I have owned an 08 Rincon and I am absolutely happy with what it was this new updated is not even a scratch on the surface and even though I love Honda it's just not worth the purchase unless they bring it up to some degree of what the competition are. In my view Honda is a corporation of committee decisions and they chose that we the public do not deserve a quality Flagship machine bad choice Honda. Honda already has an excellent motor in the form of the 755 CC parallel twin that's in the transalp , why not put this motor in this new machine along with a six-speed dual clutch transmission that would blow our minds. The old Rincon also had diecast aluminum swing arms which were fantastic lightweight for unsprung Mass this led to an excellent trail ride but what did they do replace it with seal tubes of not the same calibration. Again Honda wake up and understand this you losing your customer base that is not a good Corporation decision. The Rincon 22 years of the same same. This is an excellent channel to bad Honda couldn't bring something to the table to talk about.
So, I like this new Rincon. (Laugh out loud). I have an 07, and I love it. This "overhauled" model is long overdue. They should have done this in, like 2010. The new headlight pod is reminiscent of the Rubicon headlight mod that people did for the last 20 or so years. I'm obviously speculating here. No one asked for this specific model. Anyone who had/has a Rincon just wanted power steering, a low gear, and better suspension. Amongst other things, obviously. Oh, and maybe a larger displacement motor. Not a lot, just the basics. So, ya. Thanks Honda. Guess I'll just keep my 2007, not much different.
If I was going to just work it’s a super quality nice machine that’s effectively the same as 2003. (Before it went 680)but there’s just no way I could get it over a Can Am 700XT Outlander , or it’s other Japanese competitors the KQ 750, BF 750, or Grizz. Still a solid well built machine that will fit the needs of many lesser thrill seeking enthusiasts. Great vid as always.
I think this machine would be great for someone who will work it around the farm or wood yard and still have fun on the trails. Very good hunting machine too, my friend had a Rubicon 500 and just put it in 2nd gear and idle around nice and quiet machine worked very well and really good on fuel.
I’d love to give one a try. I’m a Honda guy but run canam just to be able to keep up to the group. I’d love to see a vid with a group ride and time trial setting/race from point A to B and you have to hit all the same mud holes and flat track.
Piece of junk no power steering no eps no hitch and 3 speed transmission. For the price point Yamaha grizzly 700 or the Canam Outlander 700 is a way better buy. But for small atvs rubicon 520 is a great machine.
Honda would have had to redesign the front end geometry to add EPS. This was not an option since this machine was specifically intended to be a cosmetic face lift for the outdated Rincon. So consider this a refreshed Rincon for sporty riding and trail blazing. That’s also why no diff lock as well, sport riders don’t need it. But still a nice comfortable machine and without a belt like every other manufacturer.
It needed to be a 5 or 6 speed, I liked the tongue converter automatic but 3 speeds doesn't cut it for aggressive off-road trail riding. Its fine for the guy going out to see the sights and cruise around, but the more aggressive trails you end up using the brakes more than you should on long down hill sections, and the steep uphills end up powering out because 1st is too tall. Power steering and more gear choices and I think they could have had something, more power would hurt either. Being in the 700 class the Rincon always felt like the least powerful in it's class.
I'm real happy with my new 2024 520 Rubicon..... got a hundred miles on it now😁......... I see a different side marker reflectors... not sure about that small storage pod....NOT sure I'll beat on mine like the guys in the video.... I like Quiet, Slow---- doing that I kinda see so many animals in our forest areas.... and I do not like the fuel fill point at all ! .. it's easy on the '24 to use a spill proof fuel can to fill with the rack as a support to set your can on🤔 ....... OH WELL. I'll stick with my Older Rubicon. (lol). Thanks for the update.
This machine makes perfect sense for people like my buddy who has a cabin up north. It's reliable as hell, little maintenance so he ca just stick it in the barn for when he needs it for chores around the property, and perfectly powered for his girlfriend to ride when she comes up! He rides a sportsman 850 SP and was wanting to get her the same thing....makes no sense, she's NOT a speed demon and rarely comes up, it would be a waste of money, just get this thing!
It’s definetly a Honda and I love it. There’s one point I’m curious about and hope you’ll mention on the full test. Does the front end load up on steep down hills like the Rincon? Hope all is well with the Lester families.
What this machine really is meant for isn’t off roading or muddying it’s clearly just a work horse and I would love to have this at my farm for WORK and another ATV for fun
I love Honda and Yamaha quality and reliability, but until they up the power with at least an 850 twin, I just can’t even pretend to care anymore. Keep this one for those who are happy with it because it’s a great machine, but for the love of all that is holy, give those of us who want more power and performance a better option! CanAm just crossed the 100HP mark. Time to offer more options!
Seriously, no eps, no low range, no diff lock and a 3 speed transmission with no serviceable parts. 38 hp! For gawd sake don’t get water in your engine oil. That transmission will not tolerate it (last forever🫣.) Honda should be ashamed of themselves. Plus back in the day it had a gps when no one else did!
I mean, it’s only new in body. The engine, tranny, and everything else is the same. They only changed what needed to be changed. The body. They’re not going to go out of their way to make a brand new machine if the market doesn’t support it, nor does their fan base really even have the want or need for it either.
Oh man. Thought so ! I had the opportunity to sit on one at the local dealer. Beautiful machine. But for almost 15 grand Canadian I want power steering. My 2022 rubicon deluxe has it. So does everything else on the planet. I've been waiting to see if it was worth upgrading from my rubicon but I don't think it is until it catches up to the ruby in feature. The 3 speeds don't bother me. Less shifting than mine. But come on man. They put my plastics on an old Rincon. I get that we won't get anything to compromise their reputation in reliability in favor of outlander style power. But better shocks and some steering help needs to happen to compete.
Agreed. I also am keeping my 520 rubi. I want a do it all atv. When I haul firewood, EPS and a trailer hitch are a must. I expect the 700 would be a great trail machine.
Elka makes shocks for the Rincon. They should just bolt right up. I don’t think they changed anything in the a-arms or frame that would prevent them from fitting.
Updates are underwhelming for all the big 4 in recent years but I’m still happy to see they keep their prehistoric big bores in mind. Praying Yamaha or Kawasaki pull through with a big one in my life time. Cmon grizzly 1k 😂
I was hoping this would but a Grizzly 700 competitor but it seems to be softer machine aimed for the casual or utility user. Honda kinda already had that area covered.
Nice looking machine. I'm sure it rides great. However, it has been a no-brainer if you are heading to a dealer to buy a utility quad in this displacement range to buy a Grizzly 700 EPS for several years. It still is. If they wanted to make a game-changing 700 they would bring back the TRX700XX with a larger fuel tank and improved shocks. It was bad timing (2008 recession) that killed that machine off. Another machine that would sell like hotcakes is if they brought back the original 400 EX from the 90's/early 2000's. There is a need for a 400cc machine that is all about fun and less about the expensive maintenance found on the YFZ450/Raptor 700. I have known a few guys who are looking hard for a 400 ex that is at or close to mint condition.
One other thing I like about it, is that the racks and front and rear is cosmetically exactly the same as the 520’s, and all the quick connect accessories are identical, and I can quickly remove from my 520 to my 700, or vice versa, so pretty much any accessory that works on the 520 will work on that as well. But I’m curious to if the front differential gearing is the same, because I thought about ordering a new front differential case for a 520, and the throttle body on the handlebars for a 520, and stick it on the 700 so it will have the difflock as well? 🤔 Honestly I shouldn’t have to do that, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN OPTION!!
You may have to use the right brake level because the starter is on the left.. it's the one thing I don't like about Polaris is the throttle and gear shift are on the same side...
126000km is impressive for hard atv riding. Had a 2013 Yamaha kodiak 450eps with 18000km on it. Replaced a u joint and radiator all self inflicted. Honda Rubicon 700 could use a ground up overhaul. The Japanese atv's are way more durable than the rest, well live forever. On the east coast Honda atvs are still going after 35plus years. Even 3 wheelers still going strong.
For those folks looking for Japanese atv manufacturing companies to come up with two ups and large displacement you'll have to look elsewhere untill a certain age group at the helm is standing before the pearly gates. We ALL remember the ATC days and what operator errors did to cause that industry to swirl down the porcelain gold fish mine . Tonnes of RnD money was lost when some entity decided that trikes were far too risky . You dont see the Japanese focusing on big power but rather staying true to what they produce best , machinery that doesn't see mechanics on a regular basis . Its as though the other manufacturers are using parts consisting of the same material that self desolving stitches are made from . Honda has a following that doesn't follow other riders to the repair shop . if you want a machine to go ice fishing once a year , check cattle, or ride to work every day and church on Sunday honda is the safe bet along with its other Japanese competition. My needs are in the 75-80 hp two up category so i run the risk of owning non dependable , on the first name basis with the mechanics equipment. Great video , great content Mike your narration is spot on Dirt trax is a dependable source for no bs honesty. Thanks for your time
I have owned several ATV’s, but I have never ventured into the Honda ATV because every other product I bought from Honda is in the scrap yard. The only product that I would recommend is the suitcase generator. As far as this ATV goes it is mostly a leisure limited use vehicle. ATV owners want rack capacity, reasonable towing capability, locking differentials, properly coated racks, LED lights all round, great suspension and ground clearance. This ATV seems to be lack lustre in some important categories and I am sorry but the engine does not sound good. I will never understand why manufacturers, especially Japanese manufacturers who do not listen to their customers. The only company that does this well is CANAM, but their quality and dealerships are going down the tubes. I had a Suzuki for 20 years and sold it to a buddy and it is still going and in its 24th year of service. Honda could really excel if they just updated their engineering to improve the items I mentioned above. Finally I will never go back to a unit that does not have power steering……make it reliable and include on all models…..this is not rocket science. Honda…..keep this model and provide a top trim model that addresses everything mentioned above and I promise you your customers will either come back or thank you!
I’d buy one. Belong to that group that doesn’t need or want the biggest, most technologically sophisticated quad with 12” of suspension travel. Honda looks great and offers more in every stat than I’ll need. Power, suspension, rack capacity are all more than enough for me. Nice looking, simple quad. I can dig it.
Hard to get excited about about 32hp. No power steering. I had a yellow Rincon and it was great 20 + years ago. I now ride a Can Am XMR 1000. Theres no going back now.
I was in Alabama and I rode a 2005 Rincon. And I really don’t see too many changes with this 2025 model. Reliability is nice. Honda could have spiced it up a bit. I think I will take my 2023 XMR on 32 inch square set up and deal with the headaches of it breaking on occasion. Chicks dig men with big horsepower ATVS.
I really hope this means Honda is actually working on a new Rincon and theyre just using this to get rid of the old parts. But im not holding my breath on that
Been a Honda guy most of my life growing up in the 80s and 90s dirt bikes and sport quads but now, I think Honda is falling behind in the performance department. For the first time I got myself a CVT style Quad with very good power and again, Honda falling behind in power, still good buy for work around the acreage but their is a lot of good options out there for trail riding.
I think the updates were minimal to make this ATV without much development costs. They were clearly limited in their budget. They probably see the ATV market as a secondary market if you compare to the SxS one. Kawasaki did the same thing with their new Brute Force. The KingQuad was refreshed in 2019 but honestly, didn't change really much. Yamaha's waiting a long time for the Grizzly update. Regarding EPS, I think there is no space to put it with this platform. So, with the idea of keeping development costs to a minimum, that's what happens. We would want more but I think it isn't worth it money wise for the company. Selling a low volume of these with low development costs is probably better in the end than selling a lot more of a brand new machine with an expensive development. Still, I was disappointed too but I get it.
Bingo someone finally looked at the details. They would have to alter the frame and essentially make tons of r and d costs. The diff lock though is a head scratcher. Probably still cost based. It's got it's place though at about 2 grand less than a grizzly.
Are you telling me someone put 80k miles on a 2009 ATV? That’s close to 5,500 miles per year for 15 years straight on a 4wheeler. I’m not saying the bike couldn’t possibly do it but it seems impossible for one person to ride that much every year for 15 years straight. If the bike really did have 80,000 miles, it was either multiple riders, older than 2009, Ferris Bueller’s trick, or he somehow changed the odometer. I would also like to see the engine hour reading.
I owned a 01 rubicon for 10 years. Great atv, but last year i decided it was time to buy new. I wish honda offered something little more. But i ended up with a 2024 griz SE and I love it. But if honda ever decided to show up, Id be there LOL
Honda had a chance to make a great ATV, but they failed miserably. We all know they have the technology to create a big bore with nice features that would last a lifetime.
Hey honda this machine would be amazing in 2005. In 2024 it needs power steering diff lock and low range like my slightly less powerful 520 RUBICON. It doesn’t make sense
All these comments are from people who clearly don’t use their four wheelers for work. I have 7 Honda ATVs and they all have over 20,000 miles on some of the roughest terrain you’ll find in Montana or the Dakotas. They just keep going and going.
I don’t expect high sales with this machine.. I’ve owned many Honda’s in my days but Honda needs to step it up! 700? Hey great… but the rest of it is too small.
Honda was what we all kept in the shed as a reliable fall back for when the high performance bikes broke down, we didnt care that is was not up too date because it could always keep up, but Honda finally forgot about it and let it fall so far behind that the Polaris is pretty much equal niw
Hondas definitely are reliable machines but there's a reason everywhere you go you see 100 sportsman's vs a honda. They really do need to catch up with the times a bit. No eps on this model also seems very strange considering the smaller 500 has it, I can't quite put my finger on why they would make that decision.
No power steering and 12 inch rims? (Not 14s) Honda seems to be behind the times on new updates!! = Suspension, tires and rims, size and shape, look and rack……
I love my 14 Rincon but Honda dropped the ball on this, they made it easy for me to not buy their new machine and keep my old one. Should have kept the Rincon name. And ESP is a must now. And the display is a cheep move.
Except the CFMOTO is worth nothing secondhand, Honda, not so much. Reputation and pedigree is everything in ATV's and CFMOTO is a Chinese brand that looks the part, but doesn't last the distance.
Honda reliability as with the other Japanese manufacturers is tops, but Honda must like the view from the back of the pack rather than trying to be a contender. Just like the Olympics, there’s no medal for last place.
This will make a great new offering for 2005.

The rubicon 520 is a better buy. You get more for your money.
See I'm the opposite, I bought a Can-Am outlander and I can't stand the eps I wish I could remove it. I really don't like the disconnect feeling
@@dustyfarmer alright I'll give it a try
Great insight! Thank you for commenting!!
3 speed does not have low range. Be great if it did.
Great review, thanks for sharing some of the changes. You can start that machine without applying the front brake, but it has to be in neutral.
Cheers
Thanks, and I appreciate the comments.
Honda engineers need to get an Africa Twin and a four wheeler to have a baby! Can you imagine what a machine that could be?
was looking forward to this even though its just a facelifted old Rincon. hopefully this leads to something bigger from Honda
Let's all keep our fingers crossed!!!
I would love too see a Dirttrax review on the segway hybrid 300hp SxS
Power steering is eps😉
Honda would have had to redesign the front end geometry to add EPS. This was not an option since this machine was specifically intended to be a cosmetic face lift for the outdated Rincon. So consider this a refreshed Rincon for sporty riding and trail blazing. That’s also why no diff lock as well, sport riders don’t need it. But still a nice comfortable machine and without a belt like every other manufacturer.
Adjustable shocks, factory installed winch, and aluminum A-Arms would be awesome on this machine. But I also like a $10k price tag in 2024.
I would never replace my 2003 rincon 650. It will outlive me.
Lots of nice upgrades over the outgoing Rincon, just none of the ones it actually needed.
This does, bring a smile to my face.
Another great overview video……let’s see a shoot out with the refreshed Bruteforce
Honda doesn't do well in shootouts.
I really think Honda is the best choice for most people.
I love Honda's but no front diff. Lock? WTF
What this machine really is meant for isn’t off roading or muddying it’s clearly just a work horse and I would love to have this at my farm for WORK and another ATV for fun
I have a 2016 Honda 420fm it’s been a wicked good bike
I love Honda and Yamaha quality and reliability, but until they up the power with at least an 850 twin, I just can’t even pretend to care anymore. Keep this one for those who are happy with it because it’s a great machine, but for the love of all that is holy, give those of us who want more power and performance a better option! CanAm just crossed the 100HP mark. Time to offer more options!
Your best bet is to own a Honda and own a canam that way you have a reliable spare but also have a atv that’s fun
Honda has got to do some market research. You CAN build a good quality product and include features people want.
would love to see this machine plowing snow! winter is coming
Honda bombed this one in my opinion. They need to use the current Rubicon platform and throw that 700 out as an option. ID be all over that.
Love you guys
Right back atcha!! 🥰
Been waiting for your opinion!
I have some opinions!! 😁
@@dirttraxtv I can see that ! I'll finish the video before I ask my questions haha !
@@firemanjonAgreed 💯
It kills me that this is a 2006 rincon with new plastics, and they're not even trying that hard to hide it.
Looks good!
I still enjoy riding my 2001 fourtraxx. This would be a solid upgrade 🤣👌🏽
Honda, in a nutshell...
-Underpowered
-Underwhelming
-No options
-Overpriced
-Reliable
Good looking machine, either I missed it or you bypassed what the ground clearance was. I like watching Dirt Trax & Snow Trax videos.
Didn't meantion it I don't think. Can't recall off the top of my head but I will look it up.
Honestly I shouldn’t have to do that, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN OPTION!!
Like the Brute and King Quad. Very little upgrades. I'm not sure why they have not come out with anything new over the past 10 years.
Impressive!!
I had a 2010 kawi 360 that I bought new and sold it in 2015. It had 20,000kms on it when I sold it. Averaging about 4k a year
@@shanegiggie awesome.
Great video , great content
Mike your narration is spot on
Dirt trax is a dependable source for no bs honesty.
Thanks for your time
Thank you!! Appreciate your kind words and you taking the time to comment!!
Very reliable vehicles. Just lacking top notch features. Not on my list.
I hope they do a few things to it.
- add power steering
- get rid of that transmission and either go CVT or Bring back the Honda-matic.
Some Honda owner's head is about to explode for suggesting they move to a CVT 😂
I believe you had to press the brake to start as you were in forward. If it was in neutral you don't have to hold the brake.
Honda Fanboys will buy it.
Good points here. Thanks for commenting.
@@dirttraxtv thanks brother. Good content 👍🏻
My 06 500 Foreman is still going strong! Also have '93 350 Fourtrax that is a tank

(Not 14s)
Honda seems to be behind the times on new updates!! = Suspension, tires and rims, size and shape, look and rack……
Honda needs to make a 2up quad
I love my 14 Rincon but Honda dropped the ball on this, they made it easy for me to not buy their new machine and keep my old one.
Should have kept the Rincon name. And ESP is a must now. And the display is a cheep move.
So they put rubicon front fenders, new gauge and new headlight pod on the same old outdated Rincon?
Food for thought. A honda 520 Rubicon costs about the same as a cfmoto 1000.
Except the CFMOTO is worth nothing secondhand, Honda, not so much. Reputation and pedigree is everything in ATV's and CFMOTO is a Chinese brand that looks the part, but doesn't last the distance.
@dustyfarmer I'll let you know when mine breaks down. Been reliable for 1500 miles
@@justinmochi7323 Not if, but when. Anything Chinesium is built to a price point not a quality level.

Explain the differences in the transmission from the other hondas please. Id like to hear the reasoning on why the rincon has always been different
I will, just not tonight.
@@dirttraxtv thank you! Looking forward to it
LMAO. Its just a re body Ringcon. No 5 or 6 speed dual clutch transmission, No diff lock or eps and still a 3 speed turd!
Honda reliability as with the other Japanese manufacturers is tops, but Honda must like the view from the back of the pack rather than trying to be a contender. Just like the Olympics, there’s no medal for last place.
Honda is not hitting the mark, 😢no eps, etc. and this is why CF moto is doing so well.
Time for a Suzuki King quad review and ride
Agreed!
No Eps No diff lock No hitch LAME 3 speed tranny Honda what are you thinking total let down
What's sad is the 680 Rincon has same hp as a sportsman 500 ho carb model . Ud think they'd want to compete a little better
