You are my kind of human. I’ve been writing more again and it feels so right. I love that you make bread regularly. How beautiful. Your idea to write at least one sentence a day with your cup of tea is very doable. I love to get up in the morning and write with a cup of coffee. It just feels so good to write!
Writing on paper, it helps regulate your emotions and clear the mind, for me at least. I think building a habit of keeping a gratitude journal (one sentence- or less than the length of three lines) is a good starting point. My friend Gaelle Jolly makes beautiful french-stitched notebooks for the paper loving heart. Appreciating your handwriting can also motivate one to enjoy writing more. The selection of pen and paper, although one don’t think is critical, does improve the experience and brings fun into the activity,
I definitely agree. I love writing on paper first and can think much better that way. Sometimes I like to choose beautiful journals and sometimes i can write better in cheap ugly notebooks because i don't feel like i need to make it look pretty.
