Yes it could use more hp...but I do love it and find the power “sufficient” enough to justify the purchase. Everything else about the deign with the R-line is 👌
Fog lights aren’t LED for a reason. They are yellow to help visibility in fog. Changing them to LEDs or blue lights completely defeats their purpose.
LED are very strong. They could’ve installed yellow LED
@@chrisauriazul2203 yellow tinted LEDs should work but honestly not much point putting an LED bulb and then making it look halogen. The reason for not using white light for fog lights is it reflects more off fog than yellow light making it harder to see. This is also why you shouldn’t use full/high beams in fog as the mostly get reflected back at you.
I have this car and love it!! But it needs at least 100 to 150 more horses.

@@benzoh28 I just traded my GTI for this car in black. I love it. I think as an SUV it has plenty of power, it is not a race car.

Fog lights or fog lamps are not suppose to be as bright as your headlights. They’re for very thick fog that would normally cause you to go very slow or creep. The fog lights scatter the light, and more on the road so you can see both the road and any obstacles in front of you at eye level.

I just purchased the white with the storm grey, but SE r line edition as I like the black better. I think they should have the black for SEL and add ambient lighting and I will probably trade mine when it happens as I really love this Tiguan!
7 months later how is the Tiguan so far? Any issues? How’s the power response after red light?
@@chrisauriazul2203 I’ve had issues with the infotainment system going on and off, and connection with the iPhone. Issues with shaking at higher speeds which I think may have been snow stuck in the tires, other than that no big issues, but not sure if I know what I know now I would repurchase.
The lack of a more powerful engine is the only thing stopping me. Come on VWoA! Bring a Tiguan GTI or something!
Damn same here, my bmw mechanic just purchased the r-line , fell in love for the wife but idk about the HP pretty bummer 😣

Well, Audi and Volkswagen is basically the same. And don’t forget bmw is also German. It’s like saying mustang, challenger and charger cost the same.

I traded mine in for an Arteon. It lacked power
