Please next video VASP flight 375, it's an unbelievable story about a guy who tried to kill the Brazilian president's using a Boeing 737, and how the captain saved the president and the passengers doing some flips and barelroll's over a populated city almost run out of fuel and in a plane filled of passengers, up please
I agree. I find the speaking distracting. I feel just having text and allowing the images and words to speak for themselves is FAR MORE PROFOUND and powerful. The moment the narrating starts, I felt it was way too much going on and I couldn't really pay attention. It kinda takes away and "dumbs down" the gravity of the storyline. It's harder to focus when he speaks and it's all over the place. Without the talking, you have no choice but to take it all in properly, the SOUNDS, the IMAGES, the words, it's far better in my opinion. Given that most of these stories are tragedy, allowing the images and story speak for ITSELF it's what real great directors and producers in movies too for maximum ethos.
Great video but I have to agree about the voice. If opting for voiceover, one has to use a closely recorded sound profile-here it sounds distanced and with reverb. And the voiceover-a fine art in of itself-has to be compelling and immaculate, as with the ones on the Air Safety Institute videos. That being said, this is still fantastic.
@@adrestianyx7441 No one could have said it better. The words force you to pay attention and in a way, put yourself into the situation. It builds suspense and intensity in a way that spoken words cannot.

I find it amazing that the F/O had 15,000 hours, the captain 21,000 hours, but they managed to fuck up a simple landing, surely there's more to this story?
As a former stew. it is not that hard to operate the exit slides, esp. because they weren't being stapeded by tons of terrified passengers. Probably should learn about not deploying the rafts in an non ditching situation.
There is..Everything was fine until 60/40f off the ground when she stopped correcting for the crosswind with ailerons and rudders. The crosswind then took the plane off centreline. A bit tough for the captain to pick up that she had literally stopped flying the plane so close to the ground and the result was what it was. Captain was retired with all benefits and first office was third strike out (almost). They brought her back on as a flight engineer with no possibility of progression and it went legal and so on. Not sure if she continued flying after. Both have sadly since passed away
There is a lot more to this incident! I am not allowed comment. But, I can tell you, the cause of the crash stated in this video is false! Think about this. How many crosswind landing videos have you seen where the aircraft touched down on one MLG and a few seconds later, the other. Furthermore, the MLG that collapsed, was the second that touched down. This was not pilot error.

In researching the MD-10 and MD-11, I found that both models had 3 sets of main landing gear, plus the nose gear. This included the 'F' variant of the 10. This aircraft (and stock footage at 01:16 and 01:26) shows only two mains. Were these planes purposely made this way for FedEx for weight savings? I'm guessing the mid-main gear might have helped in this situation.

1. You say "approximately" followed by a *highly* specific number. Round it off or drop the approximate. 2. Most people like the writing or narration; but *done well* . If you're going to narrate, get a better microphone, deaden your recording space, do it well. This video's narration doesn't sound good. 3. The report cited descent rate in "fps", but this is not a typical unit for discussing altitude rates. When you first said 12-14.5 my first thought was a float problem or similar; not slamming into the ground at almost 1000 fpm. 4. You completely omitted that the F/O didn't flare on landing... She plowed it straight into the ground. The NTSB report cited this as the *primary* cause of the accident.
I appreciate the voice on this one. The amount of information regarding the back story was alot, so it was better that you voiced it in 8 mins instead of 20mins of txt. 👌🏾 Thanks for the cockpit shots!
If the captain helped the female first officer too much, he may have been considered sexist and accused of believing women were less capable than men. There are some women who accuse men directing them of "mansplaining." Maybe he got that vibe from her and wanted to avoid issues.

No voice. Just Text. It's adds to the drama. Sorry blind people.
I have been following your videos for over 2 years, on two accounts. I REALLY love your videos, congrats on 1Million subs!
The MD11 AND THE MD10 - 30 HAVE THREE MLG'S. THE MD10 - 10 HAS TWO MLG'S.
@@moniqueeverhart3597 Thank you very much for clearing that up!
Flight Channel, you are amazing. I don't care what people say about "text is better". Both are amazing. The voice and the Text is amazing.
I live in Memphis... so now I know why I didn’t get my package. Glad everyone on board was ok 🥳😄🤗🤗
Miss Kelly I live in Jonesboro....
I am writing here about a tragic plane crash from kozhikkode international airport in india on 07/08/2020..at least 16 people have lost their lives among the pilots .The flight was an Air india The @FlyWithIX flight number AXB-1344 on its way from Dubai to Kozhikode with 191 persons on board, overshot the runway in rainy conditions & went down 35 ft. into a slope before breaking up into two pieces
HI there flight channel! Can you create a video on the air india flight ix 1344(vt-axh) which crash landed in Calicut yesterday?
LOVE the narration and love these videos!
Ahhh... yes....like we needed that explanation 🙄
I agree about preferring the text over the narration. It's easier to follow the storyline.
Of course it’s an MD-10 😂
that was my first thought
MD-11 the former DC-10
I appreciate the voice on this one. The amount of information regarding the back story was alot, so it was better that you voiced it in 8 mins instead of 20mins of txt. 👌🏾 Thanks for the cockpit shots!
The text is still there though
Excellent video as always!
I changed the coment so now there's just some random drama below
Yeah the Captain's 'Do what you like' might have been taken a bit too literally 😆
You’re wrong. She was incompetent.
@@Xomanowar99 seems they both were
chendaforest No, it was just her.
If the captain helped the female first officer too much, he may have been considered sexist and accused of believing women were less capable than men. There are some women who accuse men directing them of "mansplaining." Maybe he got that vibe from her and wanted to avoid issues.
Enjoyed the commentary on this flight. At least everyone got off the plane safely. Another great show tfc, always enjoy your work, have a great weekend.
Could you JAL 123 .... I know it’s a pretty long one and a classic one but ... you have better graphics and visual 😀 ... and I would love to see one on ur channel 💝
Brother, hearty congratulations for 1 MILLION SUBS.I really love this channel.I literally forget my surroundings when I watch your videos, such an amazing video and audio.💯💯💯💯💯💯
Make video on world's biggest mid air collision between kazakh IL 76 and saudi jumbo 747 at near new delhi, india in 1996.
This reminded me of the sort of crash of FexEx flight 1406. There was an onboard fire but they made a successful emergency landing just a minute before the plane burst into flames. They found lots of suspicious cargo but couldn't definitively say what caused the fire.
Fedex has sent the bill of the MD10 to the f/O and CPT one week later LOL. And they still paying since then.
I love your videos but this one with the narration was by far the best! I hope future vids are narrated as well!
