I've just discovered your videos Simon and thoroughly enjoy them. Whitby was the place for many childhood holidays and I still enjoy visiting regularly. You have yourself a new subscriber mate.
Watching this gives me so much nostalgia to when my grandpa used to take me to Whitby and we'd crab fish. I'm in Manchester now, and I love the Northwest but I do really miss the views in the East that I haven't really (had the chance to) find here :')
Love whitby, grew up going here. Only from Leeds/York so isnt far. Always a lovely time, we came last year and the sea fog was so thick you couldnt even see anything at all, it was so wild!
Hey Simon Great Vlog, Well.. A trip down to Grape lane or as mentioned.. Grope lane due it's history of after dark goings on. The Green Dragon I've been in the shop, but not been in the tasting room. It's looks like a good place to call in for a bit of neck oil. Thanks again for the recommendation, Chin chin my friend 😁👍
Thanks Simon. As regular visitor to Whitby over the last 20 years I really enjoy your videos. You need to go back to the coffee shop on grape as they do the best scones for long way around. Also if you can I would appreciate whether the places you visit are wheelchair friendly. I am now in an electric wheelchair which has made things a little tricky. Keep up the good work
Thanks. Up again first week in August and then September so will look out for you. You may want to explore the subject of disabled accommodation. We always stopped in Goathland pre illness but now stop at Summerfield farm at Hawkster. It is subject very few people have investigated. Chin Chin
Hey friend Love the Dolphin pub, Never had any issues with it, yes during the day with the day trippers outside having a good time it can get a bit rowdy. At night when, they have gone home, it's a great spot to enjoy a drink & a meal with view of the boats and the swing bridge 👍
The Cook museum is excellent and worth the entry fee. We loved it.
