This is a nice sample of what this guitar can do. I just bought a DC-400 and it is to coin a phrase, a tone monster! The perfect guitar for the modern player. Great video.
My buddy that bought this didn't find it all that inspiring the 1st few days. However, he realized how incredible it was next to his other guitars and couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed having this to play for the couple weeks I had it
@@theittyreport they’re very comparable to PRS in terms of quality and versatility. You can pick these up for the price of the 1000 series LTD’s, and they run miles around them. The bridge stability is great, the action can be set up extremely low and tight, and the finishes they come in are absolutely stunning. Too bad Kiesel doesn’t make these
Thanks Chris. I have one I bought over the net - arrived with a dodgy blend pot (between acoustic and electric). Could you suggest somewhere I might be able to locate one ? I'm in Australia & have exhausted all the local prospects. But yep - these are wonderful guitars & this is a great review and so refreshing to hear a guitar demonstration without overdrive - we can actually hear the different tones on this, your review. Cheers. Steve
@polymantra the blend pot should be an easy part to switch out but I need the details such as 50k 25k etc and if you can solder it in. Also, it may be way easier simply to clean it. There's a product called deoxit fader that can clean almost anything. Look up deoxit and let me know if you can get that. That may just fix it and you can also fix tons of other stuff with it as well. Used to fix pots super old
@garzoroberto7623 actually I'm not sure lol. From the looks of it I may have either been playing through the Soldano SLO100 head into a Soldano SLO100 plug-in using the cab simulator and fx. My axe fx ii was my main rig for years but haven't used it since I started building amps.

Thanks sir! I wish I owned it but just had it for a few days for a friend and he loves it. Maybe one day...
I’m also a DC400 owner myself. These get some of the best sounding clean tones I’ve ever heard

Stunning guitar.. I don't know why they aren't more popular, especially at that price point.
They became diesel
I have a DC600 Quilt Top, and the guitar is fantastic. The push-pull volume knob switches the pickup active/passive

Let check for you, I've got some good friends that build amps in your neck of the woods
@chromaticmusic thank you Chris

Hey Chris, awesome guitar, cool playing too👍🤗🎶
Are you happy to share what Fx unit you are playing through?
Thank you. Cheers, Garzo
